Chapter 2: Rebirth

'Dark...

Too Dark..

Darkness envelopes all of my surroundings that prevents me from viewing any kinds of form and image.

What is happening by the way? Didn't I died? But I feel no difference like when I'm still alive. Is there any chance that Hoga-san gave me the wrong medicine?

No no no. That would be inconceivable, there's no way Hoga-san would make a mistake like that.

But seriously, this darkness is kinda annoying cuz I can't see anything. However, it's strange...as time goes on, I feel warmer and comfortable, just like a mother's embrace.

Where is this by the way?

My mind filled with a confusement, even so, I still remained calm, cuz that's the first thing Hoga-san taught me...to remain calm in any kind of situations...

To clarify what's really happening, I suddenly stretched my hands outward.

" CRACK! "

I became dumbfounded, owing that a crack appeared in front of me.

' You've got to be kidding me. Earlier I thought that I'm just inside cricled container, cuz I can tell right away just by my sense. Although I've doubted it earlier, now I'm certain. I'm inside of an "Egg".

Though I find it pretty strange to get reincarnated inside an egg, even so, I proceeded and exterded a little strenght into my fingers. The crack in front of me got bigger as light begun to penetrate into the egg from the crack. The eggshell cracked everytime I exterted a bit of my strength, and when entirety of my body had finally freed from the egg, a dazzling atmosphere greeted upon my eyes.

After few moments, my sense of sight came back and I highly doubt that this place is the so called 'Heaven'. I mean, is there any shining crystals and trees in heaven? No, I don't think so.

Also, I'm 100% sure that I'm still alived cuz a comfortable atmosphere that makes me relax didn't seemed to not disappeared , and I'm not really sure how the hell did I end up in this kind of place.

The whole place seems like forest to me but full of shiny crystal which isn't normal for a wilderness.

Forget why I came from an egg, there's more important things I need to confirm.

Seriously, what the hell is happening?....

Full of questions resonated upon me, and while seeking for an answers.....an excruciating pain dwelled upon my head. It's as if someone is pricking a needle in my brain.

" Urrrrghhh" something.....something is circling at my head!!

Then a memory came back at me—

( A FEW MOMENTS AGO) *FlashBack*

" Watashi no sekai e yokoso "

( Welcome to my world)

In a place with a plain white surroundings, an old man with a long beared wearing white clothes greeted me.

" Who are you?" I answered with an uninterested expression which made him surprised.

" Ho? you seem to not surprised nor nervous in my presence"

" Who cares" honestly, I don't feel any interest nor fear to him cuz I don't feel any malicious intent coming from him.

" Sigh..well whatever... I think It'll be easier for me to make you comprehend what is about to happen" he stated as he caresssed his long beared.

" Just make it shorter, I'm not into lengthy discussions"

" Impatient one, I see. Okay, though this might be pointless...I'll let you know that I'm a god" he stated with a serious tone. But I remained calm and expressionless cuz I've kinda expected this kind of thing

" So? Are you going to send me to hell in return for the countless of lives I've taken?" of course I've expected this too happen, considering not only I've killed countless of people, but some of them are innocents. However, the God in front of me tilted his head with a puzzled look and " Huh? Are you joking around? That would be pretty boring" he stated casually, as if it is given.

Though scarcely surprised on what he said, I still maintained my calm demeanor.

" Boring? what do you mean by that?"

" Hmmn...you see, I found you kinda interesting, if you're some kind of neurotic man like the others, then I'll send you straight down through the heaven or hell. But you're different kid. My intuition keeps telling me that something amusing might transpire...kukuku"

' Creepy old man '

" So?"

" Here's what I'm gonna do, I'll reincarnate you in another world. How's that? You excited or what" he said with a smug face

" Not really, though I'm not really interested to such a thing, it's not that I have a choice anyway"

It's a given that I'm not in my place to refuse anything, on contrary, I should consider myself lucky not only spared sending me to hell, but also has a chance to gain a new life. It's more than I deserved.

" Kukuku..You know your place, I like that. But worry not, because I'll bestow you a gift to make it easier for you to adjust into your new world. A fantasy world where Magic and Monters do exist" he stated proudly as he raised his hand in declaration.

*twitch* Magic and Monsters huh?

" Is that so? then send me already if you're done" I told him already that I'm not into long dialogues, but he seems to not understand what I mean.

" I see, I see. I understand what you feel, but wait a bit longer"

' this old man '

" Satte satte, I'll bestow you my promised gift for you, please come a bit closer"

I stepped closer to him, as he put his palm at the top of my head.

After that—

*throb* *throb*

I can feal a heat coming from his hand

" I'll pass you all the data that you'll need regarding to this new world"

That only lasted for an about half minute, and the outcomes shocked me honestly.

A countless of informations got filled into my head, a thing that can't be processed psycologically. But if you were to experience it, It'll make you understand. It's as if you inserted a memory cartridge in a smarthphone.

For some reason, the new world I'll be reincarnating to, is called " Danmachi world" but specifically called Gekkai ( Lower World)

I've also received the info about—

the God/Godesses and how the 'Falna' works.

Of course, if there's a monsters , there's also an ' Adventurers'

and the infos about, 'Skills', ' Stats' ' Levels' etc.

In other words, It'll be pain in the ass, but not a bad thing to experience something new.

" And that's all what you'll be needing after your reincarnation. Have a nice trip"

with those words, a bright light envelopes in my whole body as this lights stole my vission with my consciousness slowly fading away.
