7 Guild and Timeline

As I stepped into the guild I noticed that I got a few quick glances, as people got a little curious, but they quickly went back to minding their own business.

A child wanting to be an adventurer, wasn't unheard of, so even if it was a rare sight people didn't seem to pay it much attention, even if I looked a bit young.

Trying to orientate my self I took a look around the building, trying to figure out where to start, as I looked at the booths were the guild employees were attending adventures, I spotted someone I recognized.

Eina tulle, and besides her in booth next to hers was another person that was quite popular back in my old world. Rose Fannett with her unmatched resting bitch-face.

I quickly made my way over to the booth Eina was managing, and stood in line behind some of the adventurers, patiently waiting my turn, while I was waiting i good a better look at Eina, she didn't quite look how I remembered her.

And from the looks of the adventurers and the guild employees, they all looked like a weight had been lifted from their shoulders.

Kind of like when a soldier when he gets told the war is over, and he gets to go home.

After a few minutes it was my time up to the counter.

"Hi how can I help you" Eina smiled and asked in a tone meant for a kid, not that I minded much I was a kid, and the way I looked around you could easily tell I was new here.

"Hi! I want to register as an adventurer. Oh! And trade in some crystal from outside the city" I answered in an energetic tone.

When I mentioned I wanted to be an adventurer Eina froze up a bit. After a second she looked at me with sharp.

"Are you sure you should be an adventurer, you don't look a day over 14. What would your parents think?" Eina questioned in a sharp tone.

Which happened to draw the attention of a few of the other employs.

I didn't really like the tone she answered me with, even though I knew she had some trauma with young adventurers.

As soon as the other employees that watched the small commotion, saw that the look my eyes changed from fascinated and excited to cold they decided to step in before the situation could escalate, before they were able to though I managed to get the last word.

"I don't have any parents." I said in cold tone.

As soon as the words left my mouth every employee froze, I could see out of the corner of my eye that Rose was making her way over.

Seeing that the other guild workers were a bit out of it, Rose decided to take over,

"Eina take a break" Rose said in an even tone of voice.

Looking around Eina quickly noticed the commotion she had raised.

"Right" Eina replied with slightly red cheeks.

Eina quickly made her way to the back where the staff took breaks.

"Sorry about that, what was it you needed help with" Rose asked me with her face as unreadable as ever.

"I wanted to register as an adventurer and turn in these crystal" I said shoving her the satchel filled with small crystals.

She looked a little surprised by the amount of crystals I had but quickly gathered herself.

"Okay, let's take care of the crystals first, just dump them into that funnel right there" she said as she pointed at a funnel that was attached to the table.

Dumping all the crystal in there a number quickly showed up on the surface of the table 47.

Was the number displayed for me to see, under the number was the different monster they had come from and the amount of each monster crystals, and where they came from.

"Okay so 47 crystals from different surface monsters, for this we can give you about 9,000 Vali" Rose told me.

"Isn't that kinda low?" I asked, having expected a bit more.

"It is for the amount the normal price would have been around 15,000 Vali. But the crystals from monsters on the surface don't have the same amount of energy as the ones from the dungeon. For what reason we don't know since the monsters have the same amount of strength" Rose was quick to shoot out.

"Ah I see, thanks for the explanation." I quickly thanked her.

"So for the registering as an adventurers part lets go to one of the meeting rooms, follow me." She said.

I quickly followed her up the stairs to the second floor and into one of the rooms, where an armchair and a couple of sofas were placed around a table.

Rose quickly took place in the armchair, whereas I took a seat on a sofa directly in front of her.

"So let's get to it, since you look new in town I will go out on a leg here and say that you aren't part of any Familia." she told me with her ever uninterested face.

"Mmh that's right." I answered quickly.

"Okay so lets start with registering you here at the guild and issuing you a guild card that can be used as identification. I will need your Name. Age. And place of birth,"

"Ah yes, the name is Eldur Ignis. 12 Years old and born in a small village just south of Elsos called Dawn village." As I told her my information I could see her writing it down on a piece of paper that looked like a form from my old world.

"Okay I will go get this registered and get you an identification card, while I do that why don't you have a look in this book and see if any of these familia suit what you need." Rose told me as she handed me a book.

"That book contains all Familia that currently are looking for new members, there is quite a lot since a lot of gods are recruiting now that EvilUs are finally gone." She told me.

As she told me that, I quickly got a look of shock, quickly replaced by one of realization, seeing the look on my face Rose quickly realized what she thought to be her mistake.

"Ahh right I forgot that you are new to town, it's a long story, so I will try to shorten it down quite a bit, EvilUs was a group of radical Familia's led by Gods claiming to be evil. They went around killing just about anyone that they could, spreading terror, and making most people fell quite unsafe, the were destroyed just a few weeks ago" Rose told quickly trying to cover up what she precived to be a mistake from her part.

While I was thankful for the information.

Rose had misunderstood the reason for my shock, I remembered that EvilUs was definitely destroyed by Ryuu when she attacked Rudra Familia as part of her rampage.

No, the reason I was shocked was because I just realized I wasn't in the timeline I thought, no I was sent here 5 years before the plot began and 5 years before Bell Cranel the boy wonder arrives.

Realizing this I took a few minutes to gather myself.

'Well Hestia is out off the race for the time being I guess' I thought.

"Thanks for the explanation Rose, I'll take a look to see which Familia suits me best." I told Rose.

"Great I'll be back soon use that time to see if any of the Familia's suit you" Rose told me as she headed out the door.
