18 Chapter 18: First dive

The three were at the dinner table. Zeus and Bell were eating, Hestia was still stunned. Zeus was eating at her side, the same Zeus that had the most powerful Familia, the same that completed two of three of the grand quests, and the same that was banished from Orario by Freya and Loki Familia after his failure with the one-eyed dragon.

Bell knew that Hestia was stunned by his grandpa, but he can't do much to calm her down. After they finished the dinner, Bell started to tell Zeus about how things were going, and his grandpa told him that 75% of his savings will be spent on the new store. The guild managed the transactions and a deal with the Goibniu Familia to build it.

After a few hours, Zeus left and went to the inn where he was staying. Hestia and Bell were alone, after a few minutes of awkward silence, Bell began to talk about his plans for the next days. Get the adventurer ID, ask for an advisor in the guild, and get used to the city. Hestia listened to him and from time to time she advises him. Suddenly the atmosphere changed, Hestia was looking at Bell with a serious face.

Hestia: "You know that I have to tell the other Gods about Zeus' arrival, do you?"

Bell sighed, he knew that this will happen, Hestia couldn't hide this, or she may get into a serious problem, but Bell secretly trained a lot for a moment like this.

Bell: "I know... but... can you delay it a few weeks? so the store may be advanced and I will be already an adventurer..." -he said while his hands together like praying, and with puppy eyes while kneeling-

Hestia felt a spark ran through her spine, a warm sensation after and her mind got blank. This last a few seconds, and without even noticed she nodded to him. Bell was happy, he stand up and hugged Hestia, she felt again the warm, she was stunned with it.

After a few minutes of hugging, Bell release her and began to talk about how he will pay her for her favor. He knew that there will be gods' parties and reunions, so he wants her goddess to be dazzling in those events, Bell promised to buy her clothe. Hestia needs to dazzle always so everyone will see that her Familia is stronger, and considering the new level 4 member... surely they will see it.

And so, a week passed by, Bell wanted to began to dive the first days after getting his adventurer ID, but his new advisor, Eina, told him to study the dungeon first. He thought that all the knowledge about the monster he got camping in the outside world will be of help, but not that much. The weak and strong points were the same, but the behavior and the way they live were different.

Bell knew some facts about the dungeon from his memories, the monster patrols the floors, and attacked adventurers. Zeus told him too, surface monsters were weak but smart. After learning about the structure of the dungeon, and monsters until floor 18, Bell was allowed to dive. Eina knew that he was level 4 and strong, but anyway it was his first dungeon dive, he has to be careful.

Along this week, Bell bought furniture to replace the old ones. Hestia got a new closet with a lot of new dresses. On the other hand, the store advanced a lot, Zeus was still living at the inn but they met every evening to dinner together at Hestia church. Hestia got more used to Zeus' presence, and the time to tell the other gods about him was arriving.

Bell was a new adventurer, but how he started as level 4 an Emergency Denatus was called, he needed a nickname. Hestia decided to bring the Zeus theme on board in that meeting.

At the current time, Bell was outside the dungeon, he has his new gear equipped -the old one was destroyed on the basilisk fight- and a new pocket bag at his side to store different kinds of potions.

The first floor was almost full of goblins, Bell used his sword and insta-kill them. Eina allowed him to dive until the 4 floor for safety reasons. Bell was walking and admiring the restructure for the dungeon, his memories remember him things, but seeing it was totally different, the dungeon was majestic and mysterious.

Bell already was on the 4 floor, he was bored of looked for the Jack Bird and left. After killing almost every monster at his sight, he decided to ignore Eina's advice and go further down. The strongest monster until 7 floor was the Killer ant, although individually it's not strong, they appear as swarm and that means more effort.

He was bored, it was like when he used to hunt in the forest while being level 4, but without having to think, the monster's movement patterns were simple. After a few hours of looting, a scream was heard. Suddenly a minotaur charge at him. Bell instantly remember the main story and recognized this moment.

Determined to not be the tomato, he dodged the minotaur and kicked in the back. The monster was buried in the wall. The minotaur scream in pain, and slowly began to stand up, then charged again. Bell bored about the stupid monster dodged and jumped at his back, he swung vertically his sword and the monster was cut in two. Spurts of blood came out and the monster turned into ashes, a medium-size magic stone was left in its place.

While the minotaur was disappearing, Bell noticed a blonde girl covered in blood behind it. It was Aiz, and she looked annoyed.

Bell: "Are you alright?..."

Aiz remained silent and with a serious face, suddenly a cry was heard

Bete: "What the fuck happened to you Aiz? -then he looked at Bell- he did this to you?" -his voice become aggressive-

Aiz tried to talk but before she could, Bell interrupted her.

Bell: "I killed a minotaur and she was behind, the blood jumped over her... anyway that's not my fault..." -he said with a relaxed tone as he doesn't care about it-

Bete, annoyed about his tone and the state in which Aiz was, charged upon Bell. Suddenly Aiz stopped him.

Aiz: "Wasnt his fault..." -She said, then gave him one last look and started to walk away-

Bete was stunned by her words, he spat out and then followed her, not without gave an angry look to Bell. Bell smiled at him and decided to continue looting.

A few hours later Bell returned to the surface and went directly to the guild. After informed Eina about what happened, and how he deepened until 7 floor and fought a minotaur, she was furious, her eyes sharpened and her aura expulse danger. Bell was stunned, and Eine started to yell at him, about his irresponsibility and how he has to follow her advice if he wants to survive and succeed in the dungeon.

Bell was silent, he nodded and ask for forgiveness, and then tried to argue about his level of power and how he got bored at those floors.

Eina: "I'm sorry, I know that you are a level 4, but the dungeon surprises even the stronger, you always have to be careful... -she looked at him with a sad face- ... its recommended to deepen a few floors each dive... please follow my advice, it's for your safety."

Bell: "I understand, thank Eina, you really worry about my safety -he said while smiling at her- but I really want to go deep, what can I do to go without face too many dangers and not worrying you?"

Eina relaxed a bit because of his smile, but the memories of her last adventurer came back immediately.

Eina: "You can try diving twice a day if you are fast, but before every dive, you have to come here, inform me, rest to be at your peak, and then try again if you have time. The other option is to join an expedition team of your same level, they will be experienced and can help you in case of problems..."

Bell nodded and thanked her, he left after selling his magic stones. While walking to the church, he started planning his next steps. He has to go to the pleasure district for clues about Haruhime, and diving twice a day to not worry Eina while he tries to get close to the Loki expedition team. He was full of tasks and without having that much time.

At the same time in another place, a blonde Renard was looking at the sky through her window, she was locked inside a room, crying and feeling desperate. Her heart screaming wanting to not lose the hope of a hero arriving to rescue her, but her mind denied the possibility, she thought that she wasn't worthy.
