11 Chapter 11: Dejà vu
6 months passed by, Bell already formed a complete sword. His power was amazing, almost unbelievable. But as the said goes, all strong power goes with strong responsibility, and in the case of Bell, it was his own life. The magic sword could be used as a normal sword, but at the moment which he tried to use his magic power attack and launch a lightning storm that destroys everything, like his grandpa, his mind consumption multiply by 10. The first time he almost got mind zero, and after that, he only used it with minimum power, enough to repeat the attack at least three times.
Taking into consideration his progress, he decided to fight monsters. Trying to use the magic power attack on emergences and the physical lightning sword as the main attack, he went to the forest. And so his new routine started. Meditation and mana consumption regulation in the morning, kill monsters in the afternoon. His lightning sword was amazing, it cut clean every monster he faced, even the hard skin of the sandworms was like butter.
The most dangerous situation that he faced was when a bunch of sandworms raised from the earth and tried to eat him. He has to use his lightning enhancement with an instant argonaut charge on his legs to escape the ambush. A spark ran through his spine when he saw like 20 sandworms looking at him.
He immediately uses his lightning sword magic power to kill as much as he could. Three swings and 8 sandworms were dead, and with all his training he had two more shots but that's all, he couldn't win with that. His only alternative was a long fight dodging and reducing his numbers one by one. After killed so many sandworms he knew that their weak point or nucleus was on his forehead, just above his mouth, the most dangerous part of the sandworm.
They have infinite rows of teeth inside them, as if they needed to torture their victims to eat them. It was scary and dangerous. Bell knew that the key to dodge his attacks was to look at contact between the floor and his bodies, they contracted that part before the attack. The main problem was that if they are so many he couldn't watch them all.
The fight continues and Bell figured out how to dodge every attack, he needed to run from them trying to make them interrupt each other, and in that way, the simultaneous attacks decreased. The sandworms clashed with one another and Bell took every opportunity to kill them. After an hour Bell was exhausted, there were 5 sandworms alive. When their numbers started to decrease, they clashed less between them, and the fight turn harder.
Bell began to being hit, and a cycle started, being hit, attack them, dodge, being hit, attack them, dodge. Bell was not even killing them, only hurt them bad. He was heavily injured, he has many broken bones and no potions was left, he didn't expect to face such a challenge. Then he decided that it was enough, he can't die here and he has the skills to survive.
Bell's determination was supporting his body, he felt less pain when his soul started to rage and to remember his desires of being stronger. So much time killing monsters without face troubles was making him soft and too much confident, the world is dangerous and you cant relax fighting monsters.
Bell started to shine, he was charging his argonaut skill. He dodged, ran, dodged again, bells sounded through the air, every second that passed the bells were stronger. Time flew at turtle velocity to Bell, he focused his mind on enhancing his body with lightning, and then his senses improved. He never felt that, he started to see everything slowly, dodge was easier and so, he needed less effort to evade and survive.
When he felt that he couldn't charge argonaut for more time, he faced the sandworms. His right hand opened, a majestic and beautiful lightning formed on it. He started his battle position and threw the lightning to the sandworms, a strong -ZaapP- was heard and a giant explosion covered the monsters and his vicinities. Bell flew away because of the burst, although he almost dies, he was smiling while flying, he gave it all.
Bell woke up in his bed, he felt tired and hungry, and a deja vu feeling interrupted his mind and thoughts. The sound of yawning came from the living room brought it back to reality. When he came out of his room, he saw his grandpa reading the news.
Zeus: "Do you want some update?"
Bell nodded, wondering if he will level up after the legendary fight he had.

Bell looked to Zeus, he was upset. He knew that one day this will happen.
Zeus: "haha don't look me like that, I recommend you swordman, sounds more like you.. the other is more useful if you receive a lot of damage, and who likes to get beaten with magic, right? hahahaha"
Bell was dying inside him, he was really thinking to choose magic resistance, then Zeus interrupted.
Zeus: "and finished, you are ready, look"
Zeus gave to Bell his status board paper and then started to smile at him.

Bell: "Don't worry, I also think that swordsman was better than magic resistance, I want to be the best hero, don't I?
Zeus: "That's not what I meant.. you know... the sandworms wave was my fault..."
Bell: "What did you say?... how?.." -Bell was stunned, he didn't understand what his grandpa was saying-
Zeus: "Well, after the talk when you said that you weren't happy with your progress and that level 3 wasn't enough for you... I spent my time preparing monsters for you... until I killed a sandworm female and take his pheromone organ.. and then I put a little in your clothes... that's why a bunch of sandworms were after you..."
Bell: "so I'm almost dead because you prepared an ambush against me?"-Bell said whispering and with a confused face-
Zeus: "Please, forgive me... I know that you almost died, I was watching the fight... but I knew that you could face the challenge.. you are a hero and you will revive their ancient glory..."
Bell: "Granpa..." -Bell said with a neutral face, emotionless- "I think I need some time alone, I will come back later"
Zeus: "Bell...."
Bell left the house, he walked through the city trying to order his thoughts. People looked at him and said hi, a few girls blushed when he passed by, Bell was more quiet than normal and the new behavior took the attention of many new ladies.
Bell arrived at a park and then he lay down on the floor, looking at the sky and the clouds, he started to process what happened. His grandpa organize a sandworm stampede for him... sounds crazy and dangerous... he suffered a lot in the fight... but it was undeniable that without that he might not be leveled up... it was a great help.
Bell sighed, he felt a little betrayed. He will need more time to think and to decide what to do, he never expected something like that to happen.
Bell: "Thinking about it, the hellish training, and the lightning experiments... a sandworm ambush is not that bad compared to what he already has done...maybe I'm overreacting.. but... I don't want to live thinking of a possible ambush waiting for me..."
