8 Dungeon experience

Alex walked quietly towards Babel, the tall tower in the middle of Orario. It is where the dungeon is kept, underneath it.

He took a look at the weapon and armor he got from the guild, which new adventurer's are given a discount on. The weapon was a standard katana with a black handle and sheet, he was very proficient in kendo and was a kendo champion so it was a no brainer. The options were daggers, spears, longswords, bow and a mace, low quality beginner weapons that were not worth much.

His armor was a simple leather chest piece, it was fairly light and flexible, whether it provided protection was questionable but it was the only thing that was in stock.

Alex really didn't care, he was a Vampire, the most powerful race of Vampire, he shouldn't have any major problems.

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The entrance of the dungeon was on the first underground floor of Babel, in the center of the room was a ten meter long hole that leads straight into the dungeon. Within the circular room are multiple columns at equal intervals and above was a beautiful azure painting of the sky that resembles the real sky. Along the circle are gentle stairs that spiral down into the dungeon.

Alex made his way down the stairs, passing the adventurers coming back from the dungeon some in parties or solo, the solo one's typically had more injuries but their stash was more loaded.

"Looking for a Vanguard Party of 3!"

"Supporter needed for party of 2!"

"Join my party and get a free potion!"

Several adventurer's were shouting, trying to recruit others into their party, it was like a mmorpg but real life instead. Although some of the offers were tempting, to Alex it wasn't, he was a one man army, he didn't need any help nor was he willing to help random adventurers.

He found many miniature caves, routes to enter the first floor of the dungeon, he selected one at random.

After a while he entered a gloomy place where the rocky walls were light blue, along with the floors, this was of course the first floor of the dungeon.

"The air in here is not bad, its the same as in Orario despite underground" Alex took a deep breath searching for his first battle.

He continued walking for a while, and it didn't take long for him to meet his first monster.

A small green and plump humanoid monster with large eyes and a savage appearance, holding a club in its hands. A goblin, considered to be the weakest creature in the dungeon.

"GRRR!" The goblin spotted Alex and furiously charged towards him swinging his club.

"Come on be my first guinea pig" Alex stated confidently holding the handle of his katana, changing into a battle stance leering deeply at his prey.

"GRRRR!"

The goblin approached quickly, jumping hitting down as hard as it could for Alex's head.

Sasa!

The goblin didn't notice the moment it died, it's head flew off its body in less than a breath. It only took Alex one sword draw to kill it, one move, one kill. Alex was a master in kendo first and foremost combined with his vampiric physique it was extremely easy.

Tudd!

The goblin body fell down on the ground lifelessly beside Alex, as it bled out from the neck.

Shing!

With a flick all the blood of the sword splattered on the ground leaving the sword with its shiny silver edge.

"That was easy, the monster on this floor is too weak" Alex said unceremoniously, he really wondered how others really get killed much less injured by goblins.

While he was thinking this the dungeon quickly spawned roughly 10 goblins similar in appearance to the previous one he killed.

"GRHHHHH!" They roared charging towards Alex wildly.

"More of you, lets see if the result is any different"

Alex charged towards the first one strike down, cutting it in half. One tried the attack from behind but it was easily dodged, piercing its head. The third tried to take advantage of this but its head was savagely kicked causing instant death.

The 7 goblins left stopped advancing, gaining vigilance at their opponent circling him.

"I have to say the dungeon really does adapt" Alex muttered, swooping towards them in one go.

QuadraKill!

Pentakill!

...

Legendary!

The bodies fell one by one in a matter of seconds ending the battle

Shing!

Alex cleaned the blood from the blade once again, sheathing it like a god of war.

"I can see why some newbie's die early, 10 goblins at once would surely kill the average new adventurer"

{Ding host has killed 1 Goblin 1SP}

"I almost forgot that there was such a function in the system" Alex muttered

"Show me the weapons"

"..." Alex stared at the weapons and their prices dumbfounded, so many weapons from hundreds of anime series but the prices…

"..System are you kidding me.."

{Host these are the standard prices for all items, skills are also similar in price but don't worry host killing higher level monsters and bosses give more points}

"This….well then I need to start cleaning these floors" Alex sighed, it's not that he wasn't excited, the cost of one item was just too much

"GRHHH" Not giving Alex the time of day more goblins were spawn the same as before ready to charge him.

"Come on then you are nothing but points anyways!"

(A/N Apart from Ishtar and Haruhime are there any noticeable members of that familia?)
