13 Monster Festival (5)

"She said she'd be be gone for two or three days, maybe she won't come home today..." said Bell as he walks the streets of the bustling city Orario. "Hey!" suddenly a girl called out to Bell and when he turned around to see who it was...it was a maid from the tavern where Syr is working at.

"Wait up, silver-hair. I have a request" said the girl as she walked towards Bell. "Good morning" said the girl with cat ears and tail as she bowed at him. "Good morning" replied Bell as he also bowed. The girl then gave Bell a wallet or maybe a pouch, "so what I want is for you to give this wallet to that airhead, Syr" the girl said.

"Um, I'm sorry. I'm not sure I understand, still..." said Bell because the way that this girl talk is very weird that made Bell not get the entire story. "Anya, that's not a good enough explanation" said an elf that's also dressed like a maid and most likely works in the tavern as well. "Cranel-san is confused" said the elf as she walked towards the two of them holding a basket of clothes.

"You're so dumb, Ryuu. He can understand that I want him to take the wallet to Syr which she forgot when she skipped out on her shift and went to Monsterphilia" said Anya the cat girl. "That's the situation. Syr, of course did not skip on her shift" said Ryuu the elf girl. "I see" nodded Bell as he smiled.

"She'll be in trouble without her wallet during the festival. Please help, Cranel-san" said Ryuu as Anya moved in between the two as her two cute cat ears twitched back and forth as she listened to the two.

"Please" also said Anya as she popped her head towards him. "Okay" said Bell as he pocketed Syr's wallet for safekeeping. "So, umm...what's Monsterphilia?" asked Bell. "Monsterphilia is a huge festival held by the Ganesia Familia every year" said Anya.

"They take over the coliseum for a full day, and tame monsters brought from dungeon in front of the whole crowd" added Ryuu. "It's really a hardcore spectacle, more or less" said Anya. "I'll get going then, Ryuu-san and Anya-san" said Bell as he bowed in front of the two girls.

"Thank you, Cranel-san" said Ryuu as she bowed her head slightly. "Goodluck" said Anya also with a slight bow. Bell then dashed immediately towards the coliseum in search for Syr.

Inside a restaurant's veranda, "what are you planning now?" thought Loki as she looked in the cloaked person in front of her. "Did you take a liking to another familia's child again, and decide to go after them? Jeez...all you're doing is sowing the seeds of conflict, you sex-obsessed goddess" thought Loki as she stares at Freya with a smile plastered all over her face.

"So, which child is it you're after?" asked Loki. "A child whose terribly so forlorn, he'd cry at the slightest provocation. But he was so pretty. Ethereal, almost. A color that I have never seen before..." said Freya as she began to describe her target's characteristics. Then Bell passed the veranda as to where Loki, Aiz and Freya are.

Aiz then caught a glimpse of Bell running past them and suddenly Freya stood up from her seat. "What's wrong?" asked Loki. "Sorry, I have somewhere to be" said Freya as she looked at Loki and took a small glance outside. "You can't just..." said Loki because this is just too sudden.

"Let's meet again later" said Freya as she left a dumbfounded Loki. "What's her problem?" thought Loki as she stared at the departing figure of Freya. "Wait, she left me with the bill, too?" said Loki as she grabbed the bill. "What's wrong, Aiz?" Loki asked as she stared at her favorite Servant that is thinking about something.

"Nothing" said Aiz as she shaked her head. "Wow, it was like what they said." It'd be hard to find Syr-san in this crowd" said Bell as he looked at how dense the crowd is. "Bell-kun!" suddenly someone yelled at Bell and it was a very familiar voice to him. "goddess, what are you doing here?" asked Bell in surprise because he didn't expect to meet Hestia here.

"I missed you, I guess?" said Hestia as she looked at her cute Servant with care. "I miss you too" said Bell. "Splendid!" replied Hestia. "I knew it, you and I share an incredible bond!" said Hestia as she dragged Bell towards the crowd of people.

"Let's go on a date, Bell-kun!" said Hestia as she held Bell's hand tightly. Bell then noticed something hanging out in the back of Hestia, "is that a sword?" thought Bell.

"Wait, goddess. I've been asked to find someone" said Bell as he followed Hestia. "Oh yeah? Then let's look for them while we go on our date. Two birds with one stone!" excitedly said Hestia as she stopped by a store. "Mister, give us two crepes" said Hestia. They then went to an open space and sat down.

"Say ahhh, Bell-kun" said Hestia as she moved her crepe towards Bell. "No I can't goddess, I can't take your food. Take mine instead!" said Bell as he moved his crepe towards Hestia. "You decided to run away? Well, that's okay" happily said Hestia as she took a bite from Bell's crepe. Hestia and Bell at this moment really looked like a couple instead of a goddess and a Servant.

From a location not far away from Bell and Hestia, a cloaked person was there observing them. "Hestia, savor your moments with your Servant, he'll be mine sooner or later" smiled the cloaked figure as it departed away from them.

"Hoo...someone wants to steal my Servant away from me? What guts you have, Freya" said the black shade as it stared at her. "Hmmm...it'll be a great show anyways if that happens. If Bell can't even withstand Freya's temptation then he's not fit to be brother's son" said the black shade as it continued to observe Bell and Hestia because he still hasn't given his personal touch on the blade at Hestia's back.
