25 The Fourteenth Floor

The next morning, Glass woke up and headed to the dining room for breakfast. When he arrived, he saw Ateus sitting in his seat reading some documents.

"Ah, Good morning Glass - San" Ateus greeted him.

"Good morning, Ateus - San" Glass replied as he sat in his seat.

"I forgot to thank you for the equipment" Glass suddenly said.

"Hahaha, it's fine, once you become famous, just don't forget about these old bones" Ateus laughed as he replied.

"I don't know about being famous, but I won't forget about what you've done for me" Glass replied.

"Good, good" Ateus laughed again.

Shortly, Yheia arrived with their breakfast as Omaos entered the room and sat down in his seat. Once all the food was brought out, Yheia joined them for breakfast.

After breakfast, the three of them headed to their rooms and headed back to the Dungeon immediately by carriage.

Once again, the party made it to the Tenth Floor. On the Eleventh Floor, the Monsters were much stronger than the ones he had previously faced.

Knowing that his sword may not be enough for him, Glass kept it on his back and took out his polearm and extended it until it was three-quarters of his height.

The twins watched him from nearby as Glass fought the Monsters. The Eleventh Floor Monsters included small purple imp-like Monsters. Each of them was about the size of a human baby and held small tridents in their hands.

Individually they aren't very strong, but they were normally in large groups of at least twenty. In front of him, Glass encountered a group of said Imps as he swapped his polearm into its halberd form.

The twins were surprised to see the polearm suddenly change into an entirely new weapon with a simple motion.

Yheia held her staff and chanted a few words before sending buffing magic to Glass. Suddenly, Glass felt like his body was much lighter and that his polearm was also lighter. At the very tip of the halberd, a thin layer of blue light could be seen coating it.

Whoosh!

Glass moved like lightning as he appeared in the middle of the swarm of Imps. The halberd was thrown into the ground causing a slight explosion of ice magic as Glass jumped on top of the halberd that had pierced through the body of a few Imps.

The purple Imps were filled with rage as their comrades were killed as they all pointed their tridents at Glass who was by himself.

Seeing them fly and surround him, Glass jumped off and held the halberd by the end as he dug it out of the ground and slammed it downward flattening a few Imps at once. The thin layer of blue magic froze the Imps in place as Glass held the halberd and impaled the air like he was using a fork to pick up a piece of meat.

As he impaled one Imp, he rotated his entire body with the Halberd still in the air sending the Imps flying backward. Glass didn't rest as he held the halberd in his hands and ran with it. The remaining Imps were now low in number and tried to escape.

Though they were Monsters, their intelligence wasn't very high as they all lined up in a row even while escaping. Glass followed them and slowed down before changing the halberd into its spear form and threw it at the escaping Imps.

Shee!!!

The remaining Imps were all pierced through by the spear as they turned to ice before dropping their Magic Stones. Glass walked up to the wall where his spear had dug into the wall and unplugged it as he picked up the Magic Stones.

As he did so, he could visibly see his Level increase. His previous Level of 17 was now 18. He had leveled up just like that.

With the first group of Imps gone, Glass looked at the twins before running off on his own to find more Imps. The twins saw him run off as they followed him as he proceeded through the floor.

After a while, Glass had killed all of the Imps he could find. When he had done so, he sat down to recover his stamina while the twins joined him before heading to the next Floor.

This process continued until the Fourteenth Floor where new Monsters would spawn. Glass was now Level 26 when he arrived on the Fourteenth Floor.

The twins had observed him the entire way through the journey, they saw how he had defeated all the Monsters but were curious when they looked at his level.

"It's quite strange that he is only Level 26 after making it this far, normally one would be approaching Level 60 already by the time they reach the Fourteenth Floor" Yheia spoke.

"Maybe his original strength from Orario is reducing his experience gain. After all he is already very strong for his Level. Not only that, this is only his sixth day in a Dungeon" Omaos replied.

"It could be so" Yheia nodded in agreement.

On the Fourteenth Floor, the entirety of the Dungeon looked different, it now had a castle-like theme that was everywhere and was made up of large stone bricks.

Passing through the Fourteenth Floor, Glass felt the presence of a single enemy nearby. When he approached it, the Monster in front of him was humanoid.

In front of him, a Monster that resembled a knight could be seen. When it had noticed him, the Monster turned around to face him. Glass took out his polearm and looked at the foe in front of him that was discovered to be a skeleton in armor.

The skeleton also had a sword and shield in its hand like it was a true knight. Glass walked slowly at it with his polearm in hand as he took a stance with both arms on the polearm and faced his opponent.

The skeleton knight moved as it arrived in front of Glass and swung its sword down. Glass avoided the initial swing and sent a jab at the skeleton.

Dong!

His attack was blocked by its shield as he jumped back. The skeleton picked itself back up and prepared to attack Glass again.

This time, it ran with its shield forward with its sword behind the shield. Glass waited for it to arrive before suddenly dropping to the ground and spun to kick its legs.

Pok!

His leg kicked the hard leg of the skeleton but didn't manage to make it fall over, however, his attack managed to make it stagger slightly as Glass took this chance to swing his polearm backward.

Dong!

The skeleton blocked using its shield once again as it swung at the ground where Glass was.

Whoosh!

Glass jumped above its swing and was in the air as he grabbed the polearm on one side with both his arms and jabbed downward at the skeleton.

Dong!

The skeleton blocked with its shield but this time it was pushed backward by the force of the attack. Glass fell to the ground as he let go of his polearm and used his hands to grab ahold of the skeleton's shield.

As he grabbed it, he pulled it hard towards himself before pulling up his legs and backflipped as he used his legs like a spring and sent the skeleton flying with his legs.

Glass flipped a couple of times and he landed with his feet on the ground and charged at the skeleton that still hadn't recovered. With its back against a wall, Glass ran up to it and jump kicked its arm with his right leg and while he was in the air he kicked back using his right leg and knocked its head.

When he was about to crash into the wall, he used his arms to support himself and pushed against the wall to let himself fall down naturally.

The skeleton knight stood up slowly without its weapons in its hands as Glass turned to face it and sent out a barrage of punches. His punches were as fast as lightning leaving behind afterimages and made it look as though he had a thousand arms.

His barrage of punches knocked the skeleton in many directions continuously as its body and armor broke down.

Shortly afterward, its entire body broke down and turned into smog as a Magic Stone dropped onto the ground.
