3 In Search of a Familia

"Now, let me search for any Familia's that are looking for new children" Eine said as she got up and picked up some things while Glass sipped on his tea quietly.

After sitting for a few minutes, Eine came back with some thick books and placed it down on the table as she began searching through them. Glass sat there quietly without interrupting her as she searched.

After a while, Eine closed the books and faced Glass. "I have found some Familia's for you, let me write down a list and their locations" Eine said as she took out a pen and started writing onto a piece of paper.

When she finished, Eine handed the piece of paper to Glass before asking, "You don't have a place to stay or anything to eat right? I'll lend you some valis. You can pay me back when you make some money okay?" she winked.

"Alright, thank you very much" Glass replied as he took the list and valis she had prepared for him before he left the Guild.

Leaving the Guild, Glass followed the map that Eine had also provided him leading to various Familias. He headed for many of them in which they all rejected him without giving him a reason while some were nicer and told him, "Sorry, you don't look very strong" as he left feeling dejected.

He then headed for a pub called the Hostess of Fertility which was recommended to him by Eine. When he headed inside, the place was extremely busy with hardly any seats left while Adventurers were extremely loud while stuffing their faces with food and drinks.

Looking around in search for a seat, one of the maids dressed in green with a white apron and headband spoke to him, "Welcome to the Hostess of Fertility, I am Lunoire Faust, I will show you to a seat"

Glass nodded as he followed the maid and sat down on a table by himself in the corner. She handed him the menu as Glass began looking at the menu. For some reason, even though this was the first time he had seen the letters, Glass could read each and every word.

He chose a noodle dish and a drink to go along with it as Lunoire left and came back shortly with his food. After eating his meal that he found to be extremely delicious, Glass paid for his meal and stayed the night in a room on his own.

Staring at the ceiling, he put his hand in the air as he thought about some things before falling asleep. The next morning, he sat down for breakfast and was greeted by a woman with a large build with her hair tied up in a ponytail.

"Hey there, it seems your new in Orario. I'm Mia Grand the owner of the Hostess of Fertility nice to meet you" Mia said as he sat down in front of her.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Glass Carna" Glass replied as he waited for his breakfast which he had paid for the previous night. When his food came, Mia smiled at him before returning to the kitchen as he ate.

When he finished eating his meal, Glass left the pub and headed for the other Familia that Eine had listed for him. On the way out from one of the Familias, Glass sighed as he sees a boy about his height who also seemed to have a childish face making him believe that they were of the same age.

The young boy had short white hair with long sideburns while his eyes were crimson red. The young man too sighed as they both walked out from the same door.

"Guess they didn't accept you either huh" the young man suddenly asked. "Yea, this is my fifteenth one already" Glass replied.

"Fifteen huh, that's about the same amount for me too. Seems like we both don't have any luck huh" the young man said. Glass nodded his head. "Well, I'll see you again probably, I'm off to the next one" Glass said as he said his goodbye and headed toward the 16th Familia on the list.

"See ya" the young man replied as he too headed to look for another Familia. After getting rejected by another two Familias, Glass shook his head dejectedly as he looked at the final name on the list that was provided to him by Eine.

"The Hestia Familia huh, it seems this Goddess doesn't have a single member yet, let me test my luck here" Glass thought as he began following the map. After walking for a while, he ended up in front of the marked location on the map.

Looking forward, he saw an old ruined church that was completely abandoned. "Here huh, I guess it does make sense since there aren't any members who joined. But wait, maybe I will see that guy again since he should've received the same list" Glass thought as he walked along with the church's broken footpath and arrived at the door.

Knock! Knock!

Knocking twice on the door, Glass didn't hear a sound for a brief moment before the door suddenly opened with a wild swing.
