1 Birthing Darkness

"We have finally got enough of us together to get rid of that evil bastard once and for all, we need to make sure that he can never return to the cycle of our realm, if he does he will not take kindly to what we are about to do to him. Hell even I would kill you all if you ever tried to banish me from the shadows." The man then sliced his hand open and let the blood pour into the chalice in front of him, he then handed the knife to a woman.

The woman responded with"You are right Ares, we need to take all the precautions we can to make sure that this bastard never appears here again. He got as strong as gods in heaven, as a mortal, If he managed to steal some of our divinity, he could siege the heavens itself with ease." The woman then cut her hand and allowed her blood to drip into the chalice, she then passed the dagger to the next person in the room and this continued until the chalice was filled with the blood of 30 Gods.

Once the chalice was full, the blood was spilled onto an alter than was rumoured to belong to the missing king of Gods Zeus. The Gods requested that Zeus send them a sign that they could go ahead with the ritual and banish the plague from their lands so that the fledgling races could develop without the huge threat looming over them and stunting their progress.

An eagle flew past the cave were the ritual was taking place and it's feather landed at the feet of Ares, Ares picked up the feather and declared" Zeus is backing us, continue with the ritual, we need to get rid of him now, there appears to be fluctuations in magic coming out from his tower, he must have found out our plot, quickly sacrifice his only heir now..."

As the sacrifice was taken up to the alter a large explosion occurred in the cave forcing the gods back form the alter. A black mist appeared around it and a large man in an elegant black robe stepped out towards the Gods in the room and said in a gentle tone"So the legendary Gods have descended onto the continent, this humble wizard welcomes you. I assume that you are here to get rid of me, doing it through my daughter however is a low blow even for petty idiots like yourselves."

Ares stood up and dusted himself off before grabbing his sword and before the man in black could even blink his daughter was slain right in front of him, her blond covering his face and his robe. His reaction caught all of the Gods in the room off guard as he simply laughed and said" So she is dead, poor girl, she only wanted to live life as a normal mortal. I had just sent her to attend a normal college in Elven capital, I assume that is were you kidnapped her from right? It doesn't matter I guess as now you can get rid of me right? Well just so you know you are only delaying the inevitable, all of you present in this room will die by my hands, not just you, any one who believes or follows you will die as well as anyone related too them. I will enjoy turning you into undead, just so know my plan is done, I have achieved what I wanted too in this life, banish me you fools."

Ares just laughed and said" Hera, finish the chant and banish this idiot. If it is any consolation, I'm sorry that your daughter had to die in order for us to get rid of you. If you had no killed so many people, we never would had to result to such methods to contain and exterminate you."

The man smiled and said" When I'm reincarnated I will kill you first Ares or maybe I will go after the Humans in Rakia that you seem to be raising in your image. As for the rest of you, remember the name Lucas Mallus because I will be collecting the debt you all made today in the future and not even Zeus will be able to save you."

The words he spoke echoed as the chant was finished and he vanished from the cave all together, the cave became deathly silent and Ares turned around and asked Hera " What is Rakia?" Hera simply shrugged her shoulders and left towards the staircase to heaven....
