5 Chapter 5 - A Drink Can Fix Anything

As Laurens passed through the busy streets filled with stalls and pedestrians and some occasional bars and shop that were still open, it was quite bustling with so many people returning from the Dungeon around this time.

''….Ais, Ais, Ais Wallensomething! The whole dway he has been tw...alking abwout her! Waaah! Bell-Kun how mwean!'' Laurens arrived at the Hostess of Fertility and heard Hestia's screaming voice from the other side of the street as she talked to a man that had long dark blue hair and dark blue eyes. He wore a black robe, a tan brown stole that reaches down past his shoulders, and brown shoes.

As he looked at the table Hestia was sitting at, she was sprawled over the table with a huge beer mug filled with booze which made Laurens smile helplessly, she truly wasn't different from the Anime except that she was his reality.

Laurens didn't instantly go to Hestia, instead he walked to the counter and grabbed the menu.

"Haven't seen you around here before? I'm Mia, the owner'' A rough voice came from behind the counter, although obviously female, she was quite tall and probably reached 180 centimeters (5'11).

"My name is Laurens, I just joined a Familia and lived somewhere else until I wanted to become and adventurer'' Laurens smiled and introduced himself.

''I see, it's great to meet some new faces once in a while, what can I help you with?'' Mia smiled while Laurens just handed the menu and said, ''Just make me one of all, I don't really know what she likes so I might aswell not take the risk''

''Oho, straight to the point huh, that will be 3.988 Valis'' Mia said with a smile, it was obvious to Laurens that Mia didn't open this tavern for money.

Although he knew a bit about her backstory, he wasn't that interested in her past so he merely paid and told her where to bring it.

Laurens noticed and empty table and brought it outside.

''Excuse me, do you mind if join you?'' Laurens asked asked Miach, the person Hestia was talking with.

Miach looked up and saw Laurens standing there with a friendly smile, he smiled and said, ''take a seat''

''Thank you'' Laurens smiled and switched the table with quick speed.

''It seems that you're the new Familia member Hestia was talking about" Miach said while checking out Laurens and nodded in appreciation, despite being called a natural gigolo himself he knew that he lost in terms of looks compared to this new Familia Member of Hestia.

''Laurens, nice to meet you'' Laurens stretched his hand out but before he had the time to shake Miach's hand, Hestia already jumped up upon hearing his name and hugged his neck while crying.

"Uwaaahh! Laurens-Kun! Bell-Kun is so mweannnn!"

Laurens smiled bitterly and Miach looked at him and grinned, although he didn't particularly like the nickname of 'natural gigolo', he had gotten that name so long ago that he had gotten used to it so seeing someone beat him in that area actually made him feel good once that person had gotten some friendly karma.

''Goddess, how about some yummy food?" Laurens asked while patting her back.

''Y..yummy food?!" Hestia instantly started looking around with new-found vigor and saw Mia coming with plates all over arms.

''Your food, I threw in some booze aswell. It's on me, I will bring the rest in a bit.'' Mia looked at Hestia for a short moment which made her reason clear.

''Thanks, in that case. Let me buy some more, give me your strongest'' Laurens grinned and Mia understood that he wasn't a vegetarian either and a devilish smile appeared on her face.

If she let the kid go home without feeling drunk then she will close the tavern!

''Laurens-Kun, is this really okay? Y...you have to buy a new weapon first!'' Hestia panicked upon seeing all the food on the table and it seemed that wasn't all of it either seeing how Mia acted.

''Don't worry, I have enough money if I need a new weapon. Eat up, Miach, you eat too since it's too much for us both'' Laurens smiled while Miach just waited on Hestia who wanted to say something,

''But this I-'' Hestia stuttered and a hesitating expression entered her face but the drool on the side of her mouth gave away her inner-thoughts.

''Eat or I will throw my entire pouch away to a random beggar right now'' Laurens grinned and grabbed his pouch in his hand.

''F...fine, thank you Laurens-Kun'' Hestia smiled brightly and finally began eating with a bright smile on her face.

How long had it been since she had such a great meal? It had been so long that she didn't notice how much she was drinking while she talked to Laurens.

Miach bade them farewell after eating a small plate and thanked Laurens for the food and told him if he needed potions that he could just ask him.

Laurens and Hestia kept eating while drinking some alcohol, although Laurens thought something was wrong with the alcohol he was drinking since Hestia's tasted like beer while his tasted like pure Wodka but that was fine, it was a celebration of him being in Orario of a sort.

''Goddess, we should go home'' Laurens smiled with flushed cheeks to the knocked out Hestia who responded with 'hmmm'.

Laurens went inside and quickly paid for the remaining alcohol and food they bought which cost him another 3.122 Valis but that was fine.

Hestia didn't look to be able to walk by herself so he picked her up his arms, although he could've taken her on his back, he was also atleast slightly drunk so that was fine.

It was already around 10 a'clock, they only spent an hour filling themselves to the brim with alcohol and food, but it felt like an entire day.

''Mmnnn, Sleepy~'' Hestia nuzzled closer into Laurens' chest as he walked over the crowded street, although he attracted plenty of gazes, he didn't care.

''Then try to sleep, we will be home soon'' Laurens warmly smiled and stroked her back.

''Lwaurens-kun'' Hestia sleepily opened her eyes with flushed cheeks from the alcohol and asked with a saddened expression,

''Will ywou leawe me aswell?''

''Silly, I won't, neither won't Bell. He's just young, he doesn't understand what you feel. You should give him some time or get over him, the choice is yours but if you ask me one more time if I will leave you, I will slap your bottom'' Laurens grinned with a perverted grin and Hestia hastily grabbed her bottom as if she just heard the worst punishment.

''Gwandpa hitt my butt when I was nwaughty when I was swall, pwease dwon't....'' Hestia looked at Laurens with a pitiful expression and reddened cheeks, clearly drunk from all the alcohol, this woman was too adorable.

As he arrived at the broken-down church, he walked downstairs and noticed that Bell wasn't back yet and it seemed he just left instead.

'Probably getting some dinner at the Hostess of Fertility' Laurens sighed and recalled the situation with that wolf guy in the Anime.

Laurens' sighed and put the drunken Hestia in bed, who seemed to have woken up from Laurens taking her twin tails off.

''Lwaurens-kun'' Hestia's eyes were dazed and her cheeks were flushed which was extremely enticing, especially for Laurens who had stood dry for centuries.

But still, he wasn't as low as to take advantage of Hestia when she was drunk and in a heartbreak.

''Sleep, Goddess. I will be back soon'' Laurens smiled and tapped her forehead lightly and walked out, leaving Hestia who had already started to slowly doze off with a drunken smile on her face.

Laurens lightly smiled and walked out of the church, he didn't know if his arrival could've changed Bell's thoughts and although he didn't particularly like the kid, he didn't want to see the kid killed either.

'In the series, he came back severely wounded. If my arrival made it even worse due to some reason and he takes more risks, he will really die' Laurens sighed and knew that he had to cut a tail today.....
