The next day.

Bell woke up early as usual despite being really tired last night due to the extreme dungeon dive he had. The first thing he did after getting off the bed and washing his face was to sit down in front of his previous days' loots and began working.

When she woke up, Hestia saw Bell, tinkering with the piled up magic stones and drop items on the side, grouping them accordingly. These items have been sitting here for quite awhile now and it's about time for him to get rid of them.

" What are you doing, Bell? " she asked with her eyes still half open. " Not going in to the dungeon today? "

Normally, Bell should have long gone by now and was already in the dungeon so she's a little confused.

" I won't. I'd ran out of supplies and my weapons broke again yesterday so I need to buy a new one. And a strong one at that." He lifted his head to look at Hestia and smiled. " Good morning, Goddess. "

" G-Good morning.. " she can't help but feel shy seeing the bright smile on his face and how Bell's looking at her. " T-Thats because you're always overexerting yourself, Bell. You should always be more careful. "

She really mean that. Because Bell is simply too crazy. Perhaps in the entire Orario, Bell was the only level one who always/most of the times goes back home weaponless. Because he always ended up destroying them.

" I will keep that in mind, Goddess. "

" As long as you understand... " Hestia nodded her head, satisfied with his response. " Anyway Bell, are you going to buy new weapons today? "

" Yes, I will but..... I don't have any money in me so I have to sell these things first. " he continued segregating the things in front of him. " What about you, Goddess? "

" Me? Hmm... Now that you mentioned it.. " Hestia got up and sat down cross-legged before adding.. " I'm gonna visit a friend today, wanna come with me, Bell? "

" A friend huh... " Bell paused for a moment to think. It's not like he really have anything to do today anyway aside from buying new weapons and supplies. " Sure then, but only after I'm done selling these things here, Goddess. Is that okay? "

" Yehey! Of course, no problem. I'll go and prepare our breakfast then. " Hestia happily got off the bed too and headed to the kitchen. She didn't even wait for his reply. Bell can only stare at her back for awhile before returning his focus on what he's doing earlier.

They soon ate their breakfast together and after that, Bell finally went to the guild to sell his products.

Thats the amount imprinted on the guild card Bell is holding in his hand. It's the total earnings he got after selling all his magic stones and drop items with the tax already deducted, which is in incredible. After all, Bell only spent less than a week to earn that amount. And he's only a level one!

This card is a magic item that are only given to those people who have a more than a million single transactions with guild. The money can be withdrawn at any registered banks or use in any shops inside Orario too so it's very convenient.

" Hmm... Guess I'm a millionaire now? " he mumbled to himself with a fake smug on his face.

Adventurers are indeed an insanely profitable profession. Though it comes with a great risk, as long as you don't die or was strong enough to survive, one can easily earn a huge sum of money in a very short period of time. It's insane.

Whether it's money, treasure, delicious food or even tons of beautiful women. Upper class adventurers aren't lacking any of those.

Finished doing his business with the guild, Bell's now on his way back to the church to pick up Hestia. He's wondering who's this friend of hers that she'll be visiting today but he can think of a few possible people.

He recognized this place This was Hephaestus Familia's main store located on Northwest Main.

This luxurious looking shop has an emblem with two huge hammer and an erupting volcano. Coming this far, Bell can now confidently guess who they are going to meet today.

Hephaestus Familia. A familia made out entirely of smiths. Hestia is here to meet up with Hephaestus.

The store was the base of operations for her Familia's world-famous brand. The third floor was devoted to management and also, the place where the goddess of forge's office was in.

The two of them went inside and headed straight to the third floor. Hestia talked for a moment with the guards standing in front of the door before they are finally allowed to get inside.

" Hephaestus! "

Hestia quickly called out after seeing the red-haired goddess sitting in front of her table.

Hephaestus, dressed in her Familia's uniform lifted her head to looked at them. Her uncovered eye scanned Bell for a few moments before turning to Hestia.

" Hestia? Didn't expect you to come this early.." Hephaestus has a surprise look on her beautiful face as she stood up to prepare a tea. She gestured for both Bell and Hestia to take a sit before continuing. " I heard that you finally got the first child of your familia.... "

Even after she had thrown her friend Hestia out of her familia for being extremely lazy, Hephaestus still continue monitoring and inquiring for her well being from time to time just to make sure she's fine. With how influential her familia was, it's very easy for her to do that.

" Mn. That's right. " Hestia proudly replied. " This here is Bell, my familia's first child. "

" Ohh.. " Hephaestus took another glance at Bell after hearing her friend's confirmation.

White hair, rubillite eyes and innocent but sharp looking appearance.. Hephaestus first impression for Bell was.... Fine. She's also feeling happy for Hestia's successful recruitment.

Bell on the other hand wasn't paying attention to them at all.

His eyes are focused only to the unsheathed double-edged sword hanging horizontally on the wall like as if he was mesmerized. He's examining it with great interest.

When Hephaestus noticed him like that, the corners of her lips slightly rose up. " What do you think....., about that sword? "

That's the question she normally asks to every individual that wanted to join her familia but she asked Bell the same. She just felt like asking him that question after seeing that look in his eyes while looking at the sword.

" It's an amazing sword.. " Bell replied straight, trying to hide the slight embarrassment he's feeling inside him for getting caught ogling the sword on the wall.

" Can you tell me why you think it's amazing? What made you say that? " Hephaestus followed up another question and it made Bell to start thinking seriously.

" It's very well made. The amount of skills and mastery requires to forge that kind of high quality sword is definitely astonishing. " Bell didn't hold back anything and said what's exactly inside his head. " It's undoubtedly the best sword I'd ever seen in this world, so far.... "

" Hee-hee.. Of course it will be the best, Bell. Because it was Hephaestus herself who created that sword. " Hestia answered in a matter of fact tone. " Her smithing skill is always topnotch wherever she goes. "

Hephaestus on the other hand didn't say anything for a moment but continue looking at Bell. She would be lying if she say that she wasn't surprised at all. Call it as a smith's instincts or simply out of whim but there's this feeling inside Hephaestus that's urging her to continue asking this boy a question. That there's something about him that's... how to say this..... special?

She decided to trust her guts.

" Then, what do you think was the biggest aspect of creating that sword? " Hephaestus then puts down the tea tray on the table before sitting across them. Her eyes never left Bell.

" Hey Hephaestus, don't bully my Bell. Why are you asking him a lot of questions?? " Hestia irritatingly said. She felt threatened by the way her friend Hephaestus was looking at Bell with great interest. She didn't like it!

" Ohh.. I'm sorry Hestia.. " she apologized. But Hephaestus can't just give up like that so she added.. " Bell right? If your answer can satisfy me, I will allow you to take one of the equipments displayed below us for free. "

" REALLY??!! " Hestia exclaimed in surprised. She almost can't believe what she heard.

One should know that any weapons displayed below cost tens of millions even hundreds of million valis. But Hephaestus said that she'll give one of those to Bell for free as long as he can give a satisfactory answer to her?

Just how crazy was that? Wait, why is she even doing this in the first place?
