As Lucius stands amidst the rubble after his victory, Bell, Welf, Lili, Mikoto, and Ryuu approach him at that moment after re-entering the destroyed castle, their faces lit up with a mix of relief, pride, and still a bit of disbelief as they looked at the devastation of the place.
Bell runs up to him, a wide smile on his face. "Lucius! You were amazing out there. I've never seen anything like it," he says, his tone full of admiration and respect.
Welf, with his usual calmness, nods his head. "You saved us all at the most critical moment. I don't know how to thank you."
"It didn't need to come to that, but some serious things happened while I was in the dungeon," Lucius comments seriously, he almost lost the war game thanks to his days knocked out by mindzero after the fight with the juggernaut.
"Even so. Mr. Lucius saved us when we were going to lose, you still arrived in time!" Lili declared.
"You did well, Lucius-Dono," Mikoto also spoke.
"They're right, man. You always show up at the worst times and sort things out," Welf agreed.
"..." Ryuu remained silent.
Lucius, looking at each one of them, nods. "Thank you, but you all fought very well, defeating the Apollo family on your own from what I could see when I left the dungeon and came here, and congratulations on level 3, Bell." Bell smiled at that a bit shyly.
"But Lucius, you also reached level 3, didn't you?" Bell asks.
"Yes, I got it a week ago. I was training in the deep floors when the dungeon released a big monster after me," Lucius commented.
"You were in the deep floors?!" Welf spoke with some admiration.
"The dungeon released a monster?!" Ryuu surprisingly spoke, she knew that this could only mean one thing.
"Yes, a juggernaut, the damn thing even devoured an Udaeus before we finally managed to kill it," Lucius spoke without hiding the facts, there was no reason to hide this from these people.
"Juggernaut...Hm? Ryuu, are you okay?" Bell commented, but was surprised by Ryuu's trembling reaction.
"You... You killed it?!" Ryuu immediately asked Lucius.
"Not without help, I had help from some friends I made on this dive."
"That sounds like a good story," Welf commented.
"Well, maybe another time, there are certain things I can't share yet," Lucius spoke and continued before they could ask more.
"Anyway, let's go and return to Orario, we had a victory today, and I intend to celebrate it, since we won this damn game and we have to collect our premium, but first I need to get drunk today." Lucius speaks and starts walking to address the previous matter.
"Wait! What about them?" Bell pointed to the adventurers buried under the rubble.
"Their gods will take them out along with the Ganesha family, that's not our problem now," Lucius shrugged and raised a hand making two spheres appear, and Cassandra and Dephen appeared inside them.
"Hm?!" Dephen was surprised by this.
"It's him, I knew he would destroy everything!" Cassandra pointed at Lucius in fear.
"Well, your prophetic dream was right, now let's go, you two belong to the Hestia family at this moment. So join us," Lucius spoke, he took them out of the attack and placed them in a safe spot.
"Me too?" Dephen didn't know what to think, her family was destroyed by Bell and the others, but Lucius destroyed the most powerful family, she woke up amidst the chaos and saw how Lucius was using his magic to play with the entire Heimdall family.
"Yes, I'm sure Cassandra wouldn't want to be without her friend," Lucius said, and Bell and the others follow, listening to their interaction.
"Wait... what did you say before about my prophetic dream! How do you know about that?" she asked, alarmed. "I have a good eye, you have quite a useful forecasting ability to predict disasters, it will be useful for the Hestia family," Lucius spoke, leaving everyone confused about it. "You... You believe in me?!" Cassandra asked incredulously. "Yes, now let's go!" Lucius shrugged and continued, ignoring the strange looks he was receiving at the moment.
Approaching the city of Orario, they decided to take an entrance further away but less crowded, as many wanted to see the winners of the Hestia family return and the group didn't seem too excited to be surrounded by a crowd. Hestia, knowing this, waited for them away from prying eyes at that other gate, she was in her usual pose while tapping her hand on her waist.
They finally find Hestia, who eagerly awaits them. She runs up to them, her eyes filled with tears of pride and happiness. "Guys, you won! Lucius, thank you for arriving in time, I thought we were lost after seeing everyone on the ground, but you showed up with quite an entrance!" She said happily.
Lucius nodded, and they exchanged a few more words, Hestia looks at each of her children, her heart full of love and gratitude. "Together, you fought very well, I'm so proud. Today, you did more than just protect our family!" The group nodded before going to the place they decided to celebrate, as night falls over Orario, the Hestia Family celebrates.
The group continues their way through the city, now accompanied by Hestia. But dodging the crowds that spoke their names, it was good to hear their name as a hero, but they didn't want to attract too much attention at the moment and passed through the alleys until they reached their destination.
As they approach the Hostess of Fertility, the atmosphere around becomes more intimate and welcoming. Mama Mia, anticipating their arrival, has already closed the bar's doors to the general public, making it an exclusive space for the Hestia Family to celebrate. Soft light and the inviting aroma of delicious food leak through the gaps in the windows.
Lucius and the others enter, greeted by the comforting warmth of the interior as he settles into the empty tables, today was an exclusive day for them with their friends. Mama Mia approaches with a wide smile, "Today, this place is all yours. Celebrate as you please," she says, signaling the waitresses to fill their table with dishes and drinks.
As they settle in, other gods and members of their families begin to arrive. Hephaestus, with her kind and wise look, Hermes, always with a sly smile on his lips, Demeter, Miach, Aphrodite, and Takemikazuchi, each bringing with them an air of celebration and admiration.
As they join Hestia and her family, conversations flow freely as the gods and their followers mingle with the members of the Hestia Family. "What you did today was nothing short of amazing," says Hephaestus, giving a friendly pat on Welf's back. Welf was a little embarrassed by Hephaestus's approach, while Lucius teased him a bit.
Aphrodite, with her usual charm, smiles at Lucius. "Not only did you win the battle, but you also won the hearts of many in Orario," she says, winking.
Demeter, with a warm expression, adds, "Stop it, Aphrodite! Lucius, your victory was as incredible as a beautiful harvest blooming!" Demeter spoke with a dreamy tone. "You! You naughty goddesses, stop hitting on my son!" Hestia shouted at Demeter and Aphrodite. Miach and Takemikazuchi, although more reserved, express their respect and admiration with nods and sincere smiles. They toast to Lucius and his family, celebrating the strength demonstrated and their victory. "HEEE!" Riekling joins Lucius at that moment, and the mage expresses how much he missed his friend.
As the night unfolds at the Hostess of Fertility, the atmosphere is one of pure celebration and joy. Laughter and conversations fill the air, each member of the Hestia Family and their god friends sharing the happiness of the moment. Lucius's victory is the heart of the celebration, but the night is also about friendship, gratitude, and the warmth of being together. Mama Mia, with a tray of drinks in hand, approaches Lucius and Bell. "You two really know how to put on a show," she says with a warm smile. "This city will be talking about today for a very, very long time."
Bell, with a glow of pride in his eyes, responds, "We couldn't have done it without Lucius. He was amazing out there." Lucius, with a humble smile, nods. "It was a team effort. I'm just glad we managed to protect the family in time." Hestia, always like a proud mother, joins them. "I always knew you were special, but today you proved it to the entire world!" she exclaims, hugging Lucius and Bell. Hermes, with his typical curiosity, asks Lucius, "So, what's it like to be the hero of the day? I bet you never expected this when you woke up this morning!" Lucius laughs. "Definitely wasn't in my plans, especially since I woke up in a not very normal way. But I'm grateful for how things turned out." Hephaestus, raising her drink, proposes a toast. "A toast to the Hestia Family! May your victories continue, and your stories be eternal!" Everyone raises their drinks in agreement, echoing the toast. "To the Hestia Family!"
As the night progresses, the Hostess of Fertility is filled with laughter, toasts, and shared stories. The tension and uncertainty of the battle give way to the warmth of celebration and companionship. Lucius, surrounded by friends and admirers, finds himself at the heart of a party that will resonate through Orario in the coming days. Anya and Chloe, now back at work but still casting amused glances towards Lucius, serve rounds of drinks and delicious dishes prepared by Mama Mia, who oversees everything with an attentive and satisfied gaze. The food and drink seem never to end, and joy and laughter fill every corner of the space.
The city of Orario, outside, is quiet, but inside the Hostess of Fertility, the spirit of the party continues strong. And so, the chapter closes on a note of hope and joy. The battle may be over, but the journey of Lucius and his friends is just beginning. They faced a challenge and emerged victorious, ready to face whatever challenge the future brings.
