4 Miss me?

As soon as Rantaro and Tsumugi left, Shuichi tried to stand up from his simulation capsule, Kaede gave him an arm he could lean-to, but as soon as his feet reached the floor *THUMB* His legs gave up on him, and collapsed in the floor.

"Shuichi!" Kaito hurried up to Shuichi's side as he lifts him up from the right side and Kaede from the left side.

"Come on Shuichi, I expected you to be stronger after all our training," Said Kaito with a grin on his face.

"Don't worry about me, tell me about you. How do you feel? Is your illness cured?" Shuichi's word had a worrisome tone.

"I'm as good as new. Apparently, these guys made my avatar in the simulation like that just to spice things a little. Hopefully, Maki-roll doesn't get all killing spree mode with them" Kaito laughed as to vanish Shuichi's worries.

"How about we show him around Momota-kun?" Kaede suggested.

"Yeah, I think that'll be the best thing for his legs right now. Let's go". Kaito, Kaede, and Shuichi left the room leaving their classmates.

As the three of them took a walk around the installations an hour had passed since the last conversation between Rantaro, Tsumugi, and Shuichi. Shuichi had not quite paid attention to his surroundings, but he was inside some kind of laboratory you'd only get to see in sci-fi movies. Walls made from steel with lights and an infinity of buttons attached to them. Not to mention the electric doors and the simulation capsules, which were located in different rooms, but still, one thing made Shuichi worried. There were no windows that could reveal their location.

As they walked down the hallways, they stumbled with Tsumugi, who was giving a piggyback ride to a just woken Himiko.

"Nyeh!? Kaede! Momota!" Himiko was surprised since this was the first time reencountering her 'dead' classmates.

"How are you holding up Yumeko-tan?" Kaito asked the surprised Himiko. "I'm as good as new!" Himiko answers proudly.

"If you feel that way then get down from my back…" Tsumugi said with a low voice.

"Anyway, I was looking for you three." Tsumugi faced the three students, "Ran-chan is trying to explain everything to Maki, but I think he would feel safer having you three around especially you Kaito", Kaito blushed as soon as she finished talking.

"Yeah…. maybe I should go…"

"Come on guys let's go" Said Kaede. The three students followed Tsumugi while she was still carrying Himiko in her back.

After walking for a few minutes following Tsumugi around they arrived at the room, as soon as the door opened a freighting scenery was revealed to them. Maki was strangling Rantaro by holding him by the collar of his shirt, while she was still inside the capsule. Rantaro was hanging off the side of the capsule just like a Christmas ornament. Rantaro turned around to see who had entered the room.

"Guys a little help here, please" Kaito rushed to the scene, leaving Shuichi in Kaede's care.

"Maki!" Kaito screamed, Maki was focused on strangling the life out of Rantaro, so she did not pay attention until Kaito reached her.

"Hey, look at me, it's me," Kaito said in a desperate attempt to save Rantaro. As soon as Maki looked up into Kaito's face her expression changed as if she has seen a ghost. Her arms went limb letting Rantaro fall to the floor.

"No… you are not Kaito… He died… Protecting me…" Maki said with ominous eyes, trying to evade making eye contact with Kaito's eyes. Kaito slowly reached Maki's cheeks with his hands, holding her face with both of his hands he directed her face aiming at his.

"Maki-roll… it's me. I'm okay and so you are… Look over there Kaede and Shuichi were worried about you, so we rushed here to see you. Everything is fine" As Kaito finished his words a tear from Maki's eyes dripped into her cheek.

"Kaito…." Maki raised his arms and embraced Kaito in a hug, she buried her face in Kaito's chest while crying and repeating his name over and over again "Kaito... Kaito…Kaito…" Kaito raised his hand to gently caress Maki's hair.

"Did you miss me?"
