Sitting and trying to entertain myself somehow, because I had already managed to clean the apartment, cook breakfast, and prepared for living together, but as ------- and her sister did not wake up, and the boss did not plan to come, and the clock was already 14:25 I could have slept quietly all this time, but every hour I got the idea that they may come soon, so I did not lie down, and now it made even more no sense. It seems that with my training regimen I had completely forgotten what boredom was.
But twenty minutes later, I finally heard purposefully loud footsteps coming from outside that were all too purposefully walking toward my front door, so I jumped off the couch and went to the door and opened it right in front of Kuzuryuu, who had already raised his hand to knock.
"Good afternoon Yasuke-kun." - He said as he lowered his hand.
"Good morning." - I showed a sign of decorum and stepped away from the door while opening it. "Come in."
As I let my boss inside the apartment, I unknowingly paid attention to what was going on outside in front of the house. A few cars too expensive for the neighborhood came into my vision, with people in suits standing around them and, indeed, in the neighborhood on every corner. It was obvious, to me in the extreme, that they all stood up so that they could see and control the entire street, and their postures, though relaxed, could be seen as all their muscles were under tension. It was also a little disconcerting to see passersby standing here and there, they certainly looked like ordinary people, but something made me suspicious. So many people for me or him alone, just creepy. I have never been in such a world, and I have no desire to appear.
Closing the door behind me without showing that I suspected or understood anything. Turning away from the door, I looked at the boss, who had already managed to take off his shoes and was already quietly looking around for something he needed, maybe he was even trying to find a trap somewhere here, but unfortunately for him, he would not find anything. It was also not hard to see that he had taken off his jacket and was now holding it in his hands. It looked classy. Even though he'd had a sleepless night, he was still looking after himself and taking care of himself.
"Come on in." - I pointed him toward the hallway I'd spent all morning in. "Would you like tea or coffee? I'm sorry, but I can't offer you anything expensive."
"Thank you, but I must decline." - he said with a slight smile as he sat down on the sofa.
"That's all right." - I agreed with his decision and sat down on one side of the couch. "How was your trip? No problems?"
"No. Everything was fine." - The boss agreed to talk to me about the weather.
"Because I was expecting you a little early, which left me awake and very worried." - Not a bit of a lie, just an understatement.
"It was a pretty rough night. And there were a lot more problems than I thought there would be, so I came right away when I got all the problems sorted out." - Said the boss, which probably killed more than a dozen people.
"I don't want to blame you, but you could have come more quietly, the whole street is filled with people of suspicious appearance." - I made a quiet hint to both sides.
"Is there something confusing to you?" - he said suspiciously.
"Well, how can I put it? I don't want to draw too much attention to myself. That could get me in trouble before my time." - I mean, that's kind of logical.
"And you think they're here because of me? That they're watching me?" - A smile was audible in his voice.
"What do you mean?" - I really didn't understand his hint, don't tell me...
"Yes. These people aren't here to follow me, they're here to protect you from me." - He dumbfounded me.
"I mean... I'm already being followed." - I drew an unpleasant conclusion for me.
"Yes of course!" - he said easily. "People like you who show even the slightest hint of 'Ultimate' are being watched, without taking their eyes off, pretty much all the time. But you don't have to worry, you're not the only one, you won't be the last."
Covering my face with my hands from the tension, I began to ponder. It was a good thing the boss didn't say anything, just stared out the window. The first people I suspected were of course Mori-san and Arata-san, but if the second one I had met myself and he couldn't find me, I wasn't so sure about the second one anymore. Also new neighbors who moved in, a couple of years ago. Another thing that comes to mind is people I've seen all too often, you could say familiar faces. I was so naive, thinking I was hiding and no one knew about me.
Could they have suspected that I was on a regimen that was not the most ordinary person, or even human, but okay, I guess it could all be put down to my "Ultimate" and come up with a good excuse like I could control my body as much as possible and also be able to monitor it properly. Okay. I don't think that's going to bother me much anyway, and it's not going to interfere with my plans either. Wait, do I even have a plan? Okay, I guess a plan like surviving the "plan ------" to plunge the world into "Ultimate Despair" wouldn't be bad anymore. And it doesn't matter how, whether it is or isn't, and then I'll make up my mind. Right now, the important thing is to survive it.
Stop. Could my mother's death have been planned. So, then some important person would come along and help me in my life, take care of me, and stuff like that. To control me completely. Two contradictions work against this theory, though. The first was, of course, that my mother had fallen ill before I had acquired my first skill, and the second was that if she had been alive, it would have been much easier to control me. Although it could have been that they were confused about something! In fact, they could have paid attention to me before, even when I was born! There were so many moments when I didn't behave like a child! Could I even trust anything right now!
My mind was jumbled by this news, even though I was perfectly calm, it just didn't feel right. It even got to the point where I began to suspect ------ with Mukuro.
Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop. That's enough. I don't think diving in and thinking about these thoughts will do me any good and will only put me into a paranoia that will make me not trust everyone. So fine, to be honest. I have a system that can show me the whole truthful attitude of this person, and the rest won't bother me. Maybe this will even go to my advantage... Anyway, as long as people don't know about the System, everything is fine, with it I can overcome any trouble, or rather because of it, or just simply rely on myself, now I can do it.
Although it was a pretty interesting theory about all "Ultimate" being created by the government, setting up situations in their childhood for them to develop in certain directions.
"And in schools...?" I took my hands off my face and decided to continue the conversation.
"Yes. In every. Every school has a person from theirs." - The boss said, emphasizing the word "every".
"Them?" - I didn't understand.
"Well, there's the government, the world leaders, the grey cardinals, or the secret lords of the world. In short, all the people who have a lot of power in their hands." - The boss dumbfounded me with unpleasant news.
"So, I have a bunch of people watching me." - I said sadly. "What's all this for."
"Don't you get it?" - The calmness in his voice was astounding, and the realization dawned on me that he was most likely living it all, or at least touching it because of his son.
"I want to hear from you, maybe I'll learn something else." - I just needed time to gather my thoughts.
"People with Ultimate talents like you. So, to speak, are the most valuable people to everyone, people like you can do incredible things and advance the directions in which you have talents and of course you can get incredible benefits out of it if you can lure them to your side. And the more valuable the "Ultimate" the more valuable the person becomes exponentially more valuable and in order to get the "Ultimate Neurologist" they are willing to kill each other.
"'Ultimate Neurologist'?" - I interjected. - "Bullshit. It's not my Ultimate."
Looking at his dumbfounded face, I knew I had managed to get away with it a little, but I could. It was decided by me that there was no point in hiding anything anymore, especially after all this time, when practically every move I made was being monitored. Sooner or later, it would all come out anyway, and I wasn't going to hide it either. It might bring me more pluses and advantages in the future.
"No? And what is your Ultimate." - The boss already asked with obvious interest.
"I'd say I'm an Ultimate Physician." - my voice was calm, as if I hadn't said anything special. "Neurology was the first area I concentrated in because of my mother, but I was well aware that I couldn't get very far with it alone, so I was still improving in other things."
"Like what?" - there was an undisguised interest in his voice.
Already I could hear someone falling out of a chair behind the next wall.
"Neurosurgery, just surgery, psychology, traumatology, and many others. Already brought to theoretical perfection 14 areas of medicine and so far, I have no goal to stop, but despite this I cannot reach perfection in not one because I do not have a single unit of practice." - The boss's face hardened after these words and then returned to normal.

[Status updated!]
"I think this will pass with time." - The boss encouraged me while reaching over to pat me on the shoulder.
"Yeah, and I think I'll have better luck with that in the near future. But thanks for the support!" - Already I was determined to give him an excuse to change the topic of conversation.
"Speaking of getting lucky! I wasn't imagining it, was I?" - He said and leaned into my ear. "That you still possess 'Ultimate Luck,' and that surviving two shots from a gun at point-blank range obviously, can't belong to a man with ordinary luck."
"I have no idea what you mean by that." - I clapped my long eyelashes in addition in a sign of incomprehension.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha." - he let out a light prolonged laugh. "Well then let's not go on about it, but you don't have to worry, no one knows about it, much less will I tell."
"Thank you." - I said with sincere gratitude.
I had no use for hiding my Ultimates, but if the people at the top found out that I had two Ultimates, I'm afraid it would already draw too much attention and probably so much that I'd end up on the operating table to figure out how I was built and all that sort of thing. Throughout the game it seems like there was only one character who had more than one Ultimate, although if you take Makoto, there were two, but it was a little different timing there already. Even in the story itself, their desires for an "Ultimate Genius" went as far as creating Izuru, where they literally erased the identities of children. It's even scary to imagine how many people died before Hajime came along.
"And I was wondering, by the way, how do you know everything about me?" - I asked a question that interested me.
"It's pretty simple." - The boss put his foot down, made a smug face, and began to explain. "If you search some sources, hidden of course, you can find certain information about everything, and if you want a certain person, you can find all the information on them, from the color of their underwear to their size...you know, it's pretty easy."
"Makes sense." - I confirmed. - "I'm just wondering, though. Aren't you trying to gain my trust by telling me all this?"
"A little bit." - he made no secret of it. - "But still, I'm incredibly grateful to you for today, and if it weren't for you, I'd probably be dead in a little while. But if you had treated me a little better than the others and trusted me, and could have come to me for any trouble, is just a nice plus."
"Thank you. But for now, I can pretty much handle everything on my own." - I didn't agree to his offer of protection, but I didn't refuse either.
"Just about everything?" - the boss interrogated. "Is that what you want to ask of me, as the fulfillment of my wish?"
"Yes." - I didn't deny it. "Well, didn't I tell you about the sisters?"
"Yes, and you said you were just looking for one of them. How are they now, by the way? Is everything okay? Did you find that girl?" - he inquired, or was he just looking for ways to make an impact.
"Whatever I didn't find someone with my powers, too. You're insulting." - At that, he just laughed lightly. "There's nothing wrong with them and they're asleep right now, at least one of them."
After my words, there was the sound of feet running away from the door toward the bed from the room where ------ was sleeping. The boss only laughed at that, though, and all I had to do was smile lightly.
"So, there you go. For one myself, I've had quite enough of the money I've been sent to live with, but I can't afford three anymore, and I want to ask..." - I hesitated, giving my boss a chance to speak.
"Money? That's not a problem. A million or five million yen a month I can send you." - Caught the boss in my little trap, and good thing I was able to hold on to my smile.
"No." - The boss's face became incomprehensible after those words. "A job. I need a job." - My eyes became as serious as possible after these words.
"A job?!?!" - he exclaimed stunned. "I have nothing to say, of course. You're undoubtedly brilliant and much older than your peers, and I just can't take you anywhere to work, and you certainly can't be sent to a yakuza job, at least because it would just get me killed over it."
"I need a job as a doctor. I need to heal people. Like I told you before. I've achieved incredible results in theoretical knowledge, both for my age and for those a few decades older, but my practical level is at zero." - At the boss's attempt to object, I simply raised my hand in a sign that he was not to say anything. "I'm not asking you to let me near people right away. I'm willing to handle bruises and contusions along with scratches, I won't even refuse to work with animals. But. Me. Need. Practice."
"Is that all?" - he didn't object any further.
"Well, I wouldn't mind getting paid for it, and certainly preferably in the next couple of days." - I made a not subtle hint.
"You'll only be let in for scrapes and burns. It won't be anything serious until the staff decides you can get down to something more serious. Understood?" - said the boss's terms already.
"Sure." - I didn't expect much more than that, though.
"When are you ready to start?" - he asked one last question.
"Today would be a good time. - Why put something off.
"There's a car picking you up tomorrow. You'll go there every two days, which means two days you'll work and two days you'll rest. The car will wait for you outside your house after school and also take you back. You'll get 15,000 yen for each day, and for each person you heal, of course, with serious wounds, that amount will be increased several times. Is that clear?" - he finished.
"Of course, it couldn't be easier." - I didn't disagree.
"Good. Then I guess I'll be going." - He started to get up after those words.
"Let me walk you out." - I stood up in my wake.
As we walked this short distance to the exit, I began to think about what had happened during this whole conversation. It's nice, of course, to talk to intelligent people who understand your innuendo. The first thing that of course shocked me was that I was being followed, but I had already determined that there was nothing serious with that. Of course, it was nothing nice to know that my neighbors were literally watching me, but I would just do the same as before.
The second was that I was still being mistaken for a child, which could certainly give me advantages. What kind of normal child would take a job on their own, rather than just getting money out of nothing, and a pretty large amount at that. But at least I would not feel in debt, and it was able to surprise the boss, which is why he reacted so sharply to my words.
And thirdly, of course, this is the second one, but after I did a quick calculation with the calculator in the system, I realized that the minimum amount I would receive would be about 225000 thousand yen per month, and if I translate that to dollars it comes out to about 2000 and that should be completely sufficient for a normal life, which would solve my essential problem, or rather the past, but this can only be determined tomorrow.
Crawling out of my thoughts I saw the boss, who had already had time to put on his jacket, was now putting on his boots. So, I went to the door and waited for him. Here after putting on his last shoe, he straightened up and walked out through the door which I opened for him and immediately turned around. I couldn't wait to talk to him, or at least say goodbye.
"Okay Yasuke-kun. That was quite a pleasant conversation. You even managed to surprise me a few times." - The first thing he did was to compliment me.
"It was very nice for me, too, Kuzuryuu-san, to talk to smart people." - I returned his praise.
"I'll be coming to see you again to check up on you. It would be nice to have someone like you close to me or my family, if only with my son and daughter. After all, I'm not stupid like you said, and I realize you won't be working for me forever, and when you go to high school and get into Hope Peak there, I won't be needed at all, but I'd like to keep the friendships, of course." - He made no secret of it.
"Don't worry Kuzuryuu-san, I understand and I would also enjoy talking to you a few more times, and if your children are anything like you, I wouldn't mind being friends with them as well." - I also didn't say no.
"Then have a good day Yasuke-kun." - He pulled his hand out to me as a sign of goodbye.
"See you later Kuzuryuu-san." - I didn't refuse a handshake and shook my hand.
He just nodded goodbye and slowly started to walk away from my floor, while I was watching him and saw him go downstairs and get into that expensive car and drive away, and after that all the other people who had already started to disappear when the boss left the apartment had already disappeared somewhere. Promptly they did.
Back in the apartment again, I closed the door tightly behind me. After standing by the exit for another minute waiting for something untidy to happen, but nothing happened, which was rather pleasant. And now it was possible to head quietly to my room, or to be more precise, already to the room ------.
Opening the door of the room while not trying to act quietly. Looking around the room I finally found, namely, two ------- eyes that were looking at me from the bed and peering out from the edge of the blanket, which was pulled up to my nose, and ------- the top was mussed in all directions and had no idea what my hair was.
Neither I nor she could say anything because of some strange embarrassment that turned into silence, which was surprisingly pleasant. I had no idea what to say, nothing at all. So, after standing in comfortable silence for a few more minutes, I decided to say something.
"Get up. I've already made breakfast, or more accurately, it's already lunch." - I said and turned to leave.
"Uh-huh." - came a voice before the door closed behind me.
At a slow pace I headed into the kitchen to warm up the food. After heating the food, I put it on the table and sat down in one of the empty seats at the table. It didn't take long before ------ finally came into the kitchen. And the first thing that caught my eye was her dress, which now looked much cleaner than the first time I found it, and in some places, it was still a little wet, so you can easily assume that she tried to wash her clothes yesterday. And if you pay even better attention, you can see that the skin on her hands and feet and some of her neck was cleaner, so she was probably still trying to wash, but not trying to do much, probably out of embarrassment.
With my eyes I pointed to the table as if to tell her to sit down to eat, to which she just nodded. As she sat down at the table I noticed another interesting detail, and that was that her hair was in its usual two ponytails and was decently styled. It certainly wasn't anything abnormal, but the fact that she was able to do her hair normally, without everything, since I didn't have a single comb or rubber band in the house, made me feel some respect, and also came some understanding that she didn't just get the title "Ultimate -------".
Looking at her well-groomed hair, I unconsciously tried to fix my own hair, which had grown a little longer lately and looked disheveled from the outside, but it didn't bother me much. Also, as strange as it may sound, in order for it to grow, I had to turn this function on in the system. So, I think I'm going to grow them to shoulder level to look cool and then turn that feature off again.
I don't know what caused it exactly, whether it was the system or whether it was hereditary, but it felt soft and silky to the touch, which was very nice, which is why I made a habit of touching my hair. Also, as strange as it may sound, I never washed my hair because I just didn't need to, I just washed it with water to make it feel good. Even if there was dirt on them from dust or something like that, over time it just disappears from my head.
"Aren't you going to eat?" - my hair brained thoughts were interrupted by the voice of ------.
"I already ate." - I lied without batting an eye.
"Liar, you haven't eaten." - she said with a slightly sad look, while popping another portion into her mouth.
"Never mind that. I can take it for a while." - I lied again while ignoring the fact that my past lies had been quickly exposed.
After my words she stopped eating and looked at me with a strange look, and then at the sticks in her hand and at the food that was on the table and was almost half-eaten, and then at me again. What went through her mind? Did she want to feed me?
"I'll be all right. I told you. So, you can eat in peace." - For the first time I interrupted someone else's train of thought. And that felt good.
"Okay." - She agreed with me and popped the food into her mouth. But she couldn't seem to keep it closed for long. "Who was that?"
"An acquaintance." - I tried to interrupt her curiosity.
"He was here for the first time, since he was looking around everything, and also, I think he was too rich, since there were even a bunch of people on the street watching him." - Something about her analytical skills is too good for a child.
"I met him today when I was looking for Mukuro." - I didn't lie as I thought that would only cause more problems. "And it just so happens that I was able to indirectly save his life and he decided to thank me because of it."
"Help you with what?" - she didn't relent.
"I'll tell you all about it later." - Hopefully that would reassure her.
"Okay." - she nodded with a look of accomplishment.
We'd been living together less than twenty-four hours, and she was questioning me like we'd been married for forty years. Waiting for her to finish eating I took the dishes from the table and was going to wash them at the same time fought off ------ who was trying to help me in every way possible for her, but I could not let her do it. So she sat back in her chair with a slightly hurt and disgruntled look and her head lowered, and there was a heavy mental process on her face that I didn't dare interrupt.
"Yasuke." - she called to me for the first time ------ without the suffix kun, which was rather odd, but there was a confidence in her voice that I had never heard from her before and I knew that she had come to some kind of decision.
"Yes." - I said, not turning around so as not to embarrass her and still continuing to wash the dishes.
"Yasuke." - she repeated again, as if tasting mine. "I promise you that I will always be with you, no matter what happens to you or to me. Even if the whole world turns its back on you or is against you, I will always stand by your side, a little behind you, to keep you from going forward." - In spite of these words, her voice was still full of confidence. Even though I thought that was it, she continued. "And I will never forget you, not for anything or under any circumstances. Even if I forget everything else, and even if I don't remember how to talk, I will still remember you, and we will always be together. Even if I die, even after I die, I want to be close to you. If you want me to... but even if you don't, I'll still be with you, just from afar."
Those words of hers made my heart beat harder, even though I thought I didn't have one because of the system. One would have thought, of course, that they were just words, after all, who she was, it was hard to believe her words, and now maybe she was just trying to take control or gain my trust, but no. As strange as it sounds, I knew intuitively that she wasn't lying, it wasn't even just a feeling, I just knew it. And as strange as it sounds, it wasn't just words that might fade or change over time. It was...how to say a decision, a way of life, a dream or a wish, it was hard to find the right description for it, but what she said were not just words, but a rewriting of herself.
So, not knowing what to say due to the fact that I was stunned, after all, such words are being said to me for the first time in my life, I just continued to wash the dishes in silence, but I only had one plate left, which I had already been washing too unseemly for too long. So finally turning off the water and putting the plate to dry, I made the only decision I could see. I don't think words were needed now and after what she said: "Yes" and "Okay" or God forbid "Okay" out of my mouth would sound like I was trying to close the subject, which was clearly not what was needed.
So, as I approached her with slow steps, I just hugged her, and the response wasn't long in coming, and I felt her arms around me, pulling me close to her. Being in her arms, I surprisingly heard the sound of her heart, which was pounding just as much as mine. We spent practically ten minutes in each other's arms, and I realized that hers, or more specifically, our embrace was different now than it had been before.
Back then she'd clung to me like the last straw, like I was the only thing that could hold her here, and now it was a heartfelt embrace, trying to hold each other as tightly as possible to hear the sound of the heart of the person you were trying to embrace. They could have been called family. But... something still confused me.
"------." - came my voice from her somewhere in my collarbone.
"Yes?" - answered a distinctly happy voice.
"You should wash a little harder." - I said without hiding.
When I said the last letter, before I knew it, she jumped away from me to the other side of the room with incredible speed. She hugged her shoulders and looked at me resentfully. The atmosphere that had been there before between us was completely gone and everything seemed to be back to normal, but surprisingly there was an invisible connection between the two of us that didn't disappear and connected us together. And we both felt it perfectly, judging by her eyes. But unconsciously we both decided to take it for granted and not pay any more attention to it.
"Go take a shower. I'll get you a towel and robe in a minute." - I continued to hit the sore throat again.
"Hmmm..." - she hummed and turned away, but walked toward the shower.
Going to my room, I saw that my bed was made, though not very neatly and not very experienced, but it was obvious that the person who made it, tried. I opened the closet and took out my two robes, one for ------ and one for Mukuro, I thought it would be okay if they wore them, at our age for sure, and they should fit, since they fit me fine, and they should fit even better on them, since I was taller than both of them and broader in the shoulders. Taking two more towels for the same people, I went to the bathroom.
When I got there, I saw ------ standing in the middle of the room not knowing what to do. After hanging my robes near the exit and putting towels next to the shower, I turned to face ------.
"You know how the shower works, don't you?" - I made an assumption.
"Of course! It's just like with sinks!" - she said too sharply.
"Look." - I said, walking over to the shower. "There's a knob right there that you use to adjust the water, you lift it up and the water pressure increases. How have you ever bathed before?"
"In rivers or with rain." - she muttered to herself, but I could hear it.
"Here's the shampoo." - I said, pulling it out of my locker. "You just squeeze it on your head and wash it or yourself. You can wash as much as you like, no one will rush you. Got it."
"Yes." - she said quietly.
"You put your clothes in there." - I pointed to the small basket and pointed to another place with my finger, "Then you'll put your robe on."
"Okay." - She cheered me on.
"Don't forget to close the door." - I said after I was already out the door.
Whereupon I heard the sound of a latch behind me, and five minutes later there was the sound of water pouring and someone splashing around the house. I don't know if that could affect the plot, but I hope it's already changed. But then I finally heard the sound of someone's feet in the next room as well, and almost immediately the owner of those footsteps immediately appeared in front of me. And it was, of course, Mukuro.
"Where's -------?" - she began at once.
"Can't you hear? Washing. Let's go." - I said and led her into the kitchen.
The process was pretty much the same as with -------, only there was no closer conversation. She ate in silence, though much faster than ------, but that's understandable, and then I washed the dishes, and then we started waiting together for ------ to finish washing.
(A little time lapse.)
I should, of course, have told her to wash for as long as she wanted, because those two hours when the sound of pouring water finally stopped was quite unpleasant, we just sat in complete silence, which made me feel uncomfortable. Especially because of her stare, which did not leave me. I don't really know why she was looking at me with such tension now. Doesn't she trust me? That was the only idea I had.
And so, this princess finally showed herself in front of us, and I certainly wasn't into little girls, but she looked beautiful. Her skin had taken on a different shade and was much lighter, showing how much dirt had been on her before, all the dirt was gone from her hands and especially her nails. Her hair, which had previously been full of dust and dirt, shone a healthy ---------- color for the first time in my memory and was loose. There was a soft blush and a sparkling smile on her face, and my robe added some spice, even though she was a plank.
Lest I forget, it would have to be written down. So that no more strange thoughts would pop into my head.
But immediately when ------ appeared in the doorway my silent roommate jumped up screaming.
"------!" - her scream echoed throughout the apartment.
When Mukuro practically ran to ------ with her arms out in all directions to hug her. She suddenly shouted.
"Freeze!" - shouted the girl.
And for reasons unknown to me, she put her arms out in front as protection and as a sign for Mukuro to stop, which she did, however, and immediately after her shout stood in place looking at ------ in incomprehension.
"W-what?" - There was a sound of incomprehension in Mukuro voice.
"Can't you see?! I've washed and I'm totally clean now! I don't want someone dirty like you touching me." - There was a sound of irritation in her voice.
"That's why ------ you're going to go and tell Mukuro what to do to wash all this dirt off of you." - I said.
So, I quickly chased them both back into the bathroom and relaxed on the couch, glad I wasn't paying for the water. It didn't take long before the sound of pouring water returned to the whole apartment. And now I hope I have some free time to watch the system.

And it looked pleasing to my heart. There was a noticeable progression from what I was before and it made sense, but in those two years I had just made a significant leap that caused me to be much more resilient and stronger than my classmates. It was also not hard to notice exactly what had changed in my status, namely the "Title" tab where my talent was added and having poked at it a few times I realized that it didn't give me anything and it was just displayed for a tick. So, I did not have the slightest clue as to why it was necessary.

And that was nice for me. Seeing your progress is one of the strongest features of the system, making you have a symbol, getting stronger. In a way it's even like a drug that gives you pleasure with every dozen point in characteristics, and "free points" acts like a carrot that's given for work and you can just strengthen yourself, and the fact that it allows you to pump skills along with skills at a speed that's beyond human control, needless to say.
Also, you can see that some of them almost reached 100, though with clothes and I do not think that I get any bonus with clothes, so I have to raise their personal characteristics and with each point it becomes more and more difficult, as was not difficult to notice and I'm afraid, in order to raise all their characteristics at least to 100, then have to spend another five years, but I think that in the future I might somehow get bonuses speed getting new points.
My hearing picked up the way the sound of water pouring in stopped. My first thought was that I was in the system for too long and in self pleasure, but when I looked at my watch, I realized that no more than twenty minutes had passed, which threw me off a bit after the first time, then. I thought Mukuro was going to be scrubbed for hours too, but maybe she's just a different character and doesn't need to be scrubbed as much as ------.
So, after the sound of the door opening, the two girls appeared in front of me again. ------ was surprisingly even happier than before, and she had a cheerful smile on her face instead of the satisfied one she had before. Looking at Mukuro I realized that nothing had changed, maybe just the dirt was gone completely from her dark hair, but other than minor details of course her appearance hadn't changed much, certainly not like ------, and my robe added some beauty points, and its white color blended beautifully with her hair, and there was a slight blush on the level of her freckles.
The first thing that happened immediately after their appearance was that I felt someone's arms around my shoulders, and my body felt like someone was weighing on it. And of course, the only one who could do that was ------, who hugged me by the neck, and then hung on to it. I must say that the first time I met her she smelled nice, I do not really know what, because I never paid attention, but to my subtle taste it was the smell of flowers. And the only thing that spoiled the moment was the murderous stare of Mukuro, who was staring at me incessantly again. After a minute, she let go of my hands and slumped easily to the floor.
"Good. Looks like everyone's washed up." ------ quickly nodded her head as Mukuro just nodded once. "Then sit down, we're about to have a duty assignment."
There was confusion on their faces after I said that, but without saying anything, they sat down at the edges. I can't say exactly why they didn't think about it, maybe because they were children, though with hard fates, or just because of their hard fate they never did anything like that. So after clearing my throat I began to speak.
"Okay, first of all, let's figure out where we're going to sleep. ------ you'll sleep where you slept tonight, and for you Mukuro needs to prepare bed linens and basically the same." - Before I could finish speaking, I was interrupted.
"And you?" - It was ------'s voice.
"Let me finish." - I looked at her reproachfully, causing her to lower her gaze. "It's okay, just wait and let me finish. I'll just sleep here on this couch. And don't mind, I'll be perfectly comfortable sleeping here."
"Okay/ Fine." - came the twin responses from the two girls.
"Then the next problem is money." - A frightened expression appeared on their faces after I said this, and you could see them both clenching their fists. "I don't think I can pull you both, I could hardly pull myself, then."
"I can leave, just let ------ stay!" - the voice interrupted me again, but this time by Mukuro.
"Is that a family thing? Not letting me finish?" - I said interrupting ------ who also had something to say. "That's why I got a job."
"A job?" - said quietly to the incomprehensible ------.
"Yes, a job. That man who came here is the one who's going to help me with this. And that's where the other problem comes in." - I paused tragically. "I won't be able to be home much because of that, and that's why you two will have to take on household chores."
"Domestic chores?" - Mukuro interjected.
"Yes. Domestic duties. And that's what you'll be covering your living expenses, if it makes you feel any better. They will include cooking, cleaning, laundry, and of course you will have to go to school.
"I don't know how to do any of these things. But I'll learn it all." - Mukuro said, most likely to help her sister.
"And so, will I. I'll learn too!" ------ said in agreement, so that Mukuro wouldn't have to take all the responsibility.
"Good. That's settled then. So, let's go get the bed ready for Mukuro, and then I'll tell you everything." - I said at that, closing, the whole day for today.
The person there left a 1 star review and I would like to write it here. As I am not sure if it shows or not. Since not in the app or from another account or browser, I don't have my review showing. (In fact, it's a little frustrating.)
Well, I know it myself that it gets tedious and a lot of text, but writing "He went there, did this and that, talking there" is even more bastardizing than I'm writing now and reading the thoughts along with the characters' actions gives more immersion, along with diluting the story.
At this point, there is a step-by-step development that shows the main character's worldview and improvement. And so, then there are no type questions "How?" "Why?" "Where do the powers come from?". Also, the canon hasn't started yet and now there are extensive gaps between moments, between which the main interactions will take place.
