1 Prologue
Kenta's P.O.V-
So right now, I am heading my way towards the place called Hope's Peak Academy since I heard that this place where top students from the country are gathered here
I am interested to see some intelligent people here and then I will graduate so that I can Achieve my ambitions here
So instead of wasting time monologuing here, I went to the school and moved forward towards the school gate, suddenly I got dizzy
what happened to me, do some random criminal targeted me, or is it the work of the foolish principal, either way, I am now screwed and then I lost consciousness
Kenta's P.O.V-
...Nng?: Wh-What...? Where am I? woke up with my head resting on top of a hard wooden desk. My body feels...heavy. It's pretty normal for me to zonk off in the middle of some boring class or whatever, but... What was I doing asleep here just now? This isn't a classroom I've ever been in before. There are 17 Desks here so that means there are other 16 students besides me but where are they
It's a dangerous world we live in. I guess they have these to keep outsiders from just wandering in. In any normal classroom, that's where a window should be. But it looks like some kind of metal plate has been bolted over it. And if I were to knock on it...
Definitely metal. Thick, too. Very solid. that's not what matters here. More importantly, why are there metal plates over the windows? It was just after 6:30 when I first got here. Has it really been almost an hour since then? The school *is* funded by the national government, so I guess it's not that weird to have TVs in here... Something feels...off.
an orientation guide...? It's some kind of cheap-looking pamphlet. And there's something handwritten on it. Surely the foolish principal should have taken extra measures for the school and what kind of welcoming atmosphere the school has, truly foolish
I should probably head back to the main hall. It's already past the meeting time. There might be other students there now. 'Sigh' I don't feel socializing with them guess it can't be helped
So let's go see what the hallway looks like. This is getting stranger by the second. I honestly have no idea what's going on... Well, for now, I'll just head to the main hall..."Despair Hotel"...?.what kind of foolish person owns a hotel like this. let's enter it

???: Whoa, hey! Another new kid?
Kenta: who are you calling kid? you moron
???: Oh hey sorry man my name is Leon kuwata, nice to meet you

Makato's P.O.V-
Makoto: Jeez... This hallway is kind of weird, too.
This is getting stranger by the second. I honestly have no idea what's going on...
Makoto: Well, for now I'll just head to the main hall...
"Despair Hotel"...? I guess it's a place for people to stay overnight.
???: Whoa, hey! Another new kid?
Makoto: Huh? Then you guys are all...?
???: Yeah... We're all new here.
???: So counting him, that makes sixteen
Makoto: Um...how's it going? My name's Makoto Naegi. Sorry, I'm late. A bunch of stuff happened, and then all of a sudden I was just...asleep.
Hiro: Whoa, you too?
Celeste: Things just keep getting curiouser and curiouser...
Kenta: 'curious' Not 'curiouser' you black haired girl
Celeste: Oh my bad My apologies for that
Hifumi: So strange... I declare beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is a strange situation indeed!
Makoto: Um...what are you talking about? I honestly have no idea what's going on right now.
Taka: Just a moment! There's something else we must address! Makoto! Your tardiness is unacceptable! Surely you were aware the meeting was to start at 8 a.m. sharp! To be late on your first day is unspeakable! I must report you, and you must accept your due punishment!
Kenta: No he did nothing wrong, you shut your mouth
Junko: What's your problem? It's not like he *wanted* to be late. He didn't have any control over it.
Taka: my apologies, I won't repeat this kind of behaviour in future
Hina: Everyone just calms down! Listen, why don't we all go around and introduce ourselves?
Mondo: The hell!? Now's no time for friggin' introductions!
Kenta: I agree with that
Celeste: Maybe, but it may be good to at least find out who we all are before digging into the bigger problems here. I mean, how are we even supposed to talk to each other if we do not know each other's names?
Chihiro: That's a good point...
Sayaka: Okay, so let's get introductions out of the way, then we can move on to whatever else. Sound good?
I'm still totally lost, but I think it's best to just focus on getting to know each other for now. So I guess this is as good a chance as I'm gonna get. I already looked everyone up on that Hope's Peak Academy thread online, but... I still don't really know what kind of people they actually are.
