68 Seri’s Suspicion

SILENCE was never new in the house of Inoue. As the father and child seldom speak to each other—or rather Sora does not usually speak to his father.

      And Seri cannot blame his son as his son grew up not seeing him most of the time. He traveled here and there. Being a researcher in the medical field, most of the time, he was out of the country. If it weren't for his ancestor's call, he wouldn't be coming back here, too.

      But was it worth it? After following her blindly, and after all that he had seen in Dandy's memories, will he be safe from all of this? Will Amaterasu saved his great-great-grandson?

      "Dad? Dad?"

      Seri's attention went to Sora when his son touched his shoulder. "What is it? Do you need another serving?"

      Sora shook his head. "I'm going. I'll be late for school."

      "Oh right, school. Okay."

      "Well, see you later."
