43 One Crew Added

SORA knew someone was watching him. His every move and his every step. And there was only one who he can think of.

And as soon as he thought about it, the usual, Maeko intentionally bumped her shoulder onto him. Then she would give him a death stare.

And he doesn't know why.

Maeko was the girl he helped before. Then just yesterday, it was the same Maeko, she did a Judo to one of the bullies in their school and got them into trouble. Their parents got called by the school principal.

Then it made him think, {Was she silently laughing at me after I helped her? If so, then why does it look like she's the one angry? Girls.}

Sora secretly snickered as he remembered Dandy when talking about girls. She portrayed girls like Dandy. Cute, lively and always smiling. Unlike a certain someone.

Sora's eyes flew where Maeko was sitting. He felt her stare even if they were not in the classroom, it was worse knowing that he was sitting in front of her.

{That's why it felt like something's drilling in my head}

With a sigh, Sora tried to ignore Maeko's presence all throughout the day. He successfully did that but when it was the end of class and he was walking going to the forest, he felt her presence again.

He swiftly looked back but didn't see anyone. Was it just his imagination? Or he was just getting used to that, when he looked back, Maeko would be there.

Maybe it was the latter.

Sora shrugged and continued his way to the forest. He looked around first before entering at the side part of the fence. The terrain going to Dandy's flowerbed was unmarked. Roots of the trees protrude everywhere. Grasses and wildflowers hid the roots and if you aren't familiar with the ground, you might get tripped.

And that was what Sora heard.

A voice of a girl. Screamed as if she fell into some pit. He rushed back to where he heard the voice only to find Maeko in all fours. Looked like she tripped on one of the roots.

He walked up onto her and just looked at her. "So, you really are following me?"

"Yeah. You got any problem with that? Why don't you just help me up, huh?" she retorted back.

"Why would I help someone who had been snooping around me? And that look, it looks good on you. Since you like snooping around," Sora chided as he looked at her. "I'm leaving don't follow me or you could get lost."

"Wait!" Maeko shouted as he runs off. Hoping that she wouldn't follow him.

He ran as fast as he can. His everyday traverse into the forest made him remember when to jump, hop, skip, and carefully trod the path. He only stopped when he finally reached the flowerbed.

And there she was, a smile was already ready.

"Sora!" Dandy shouted happily as she waved her hands. "Let's play!" she bubbled excitedly as she jumped and flew mid-air.

He hurriedly ran to her and stopped in front of everyone. He was ready to catch Dandy with his two hands. It was only then that he noticed that they weren't looking at him. And the excitement earlier was gone.

"Guys?"

Then Yoshiko growled as Tamotsu jumped into Yoshiko's head. "What did you do, kid? Who did you bring with?" accused Yoshiko as kept looking at someone in his back.

And It dawned in him. He slowly looked back and there he saw Maeko. Standing while catching her breath.

"Why…did…you have…to run so..fast?" Maeko struggled to complete the sentence as he gasped for air in every word. "I almost…lost you."

Maeko. In the forest. With Yoshiko talking. With Dandy slightly floating.

How fast he ran away from Maeko to go to Dandy was not faster on how he looked back from Maeko to where Dandy. Dandy, who was still floating before touching the ground, and Sora was very sure that Maeko saw that.

{Please don't freak out. Please don't run away and babble this to everyone. Please don't. Please don't.}

"That was awesome! Can you do that again?"

Jaws dropped. Everyone stunned. Dandy smiled and flew again.

A collective voice shouted to call out the Deity. But the deity was way up in the air and laughing her heart out while shouting:

"Yay! A new friend!"

And everyone was in shock.

{What did just happened?}

DANDY tried to peak thru Sora who blocked his body from her view to the girl who just arrived. She seemed familiar that's why she wanted to confirm if her memory was right.

{But this giant is in the way.}

"Sora. Why… won't…you..let…me…see her?" Dandy really tried her best. She even tried to fly but he was holding her wrist so she couldn't do it.

After what the girl said, all of them were stunned. But Sora was the one who come around and held her hand. Yoshiko still cannot believe what he heard and Tamotsu was already snickering at his head.

"I don't want you to get involved with someone who's like a monkey," Sora answered. "This girl pretended to be meek and weak but all along, she was laughing at me for trying to save her before."

"I didn't laugh at you. You're just thinking that." The girl replied and walk towards them. "You just cannot accept that I can fight better than you."

"And looks like she's braver than you." She interjected.

"What?"

"Yeah, accept it, kid," Yoshiko seconded. "The first time you saw us, you ran like a girl. And squealed when I took Dandy away from you."

"T-that was different."

"No, it's not." Yoshiko barking laughed at Sora.

"Yes, it is," Sora argued. "I…I never once saw a wolf in my life. And as…as chubby as you."

"Chubby? Did you just call me fat, kid?" growled Yoshiko. Offended to be called fat.

"Are you talking to the wolf, Sora?" Maeko asked as she looked at Sora and Yoshiko.

"You...cannot hear Yoshiko talking?" The girl shook her head.

Dandy looked at Sora and everyone before looking back at the girl. Questions arise from what she asked.

{Why cant she hear Yoshiko but Sora can?}
