CHAPTER 2

It was 2:45pm, Everlynn awoke to the sound of pouring rain she sighed and walked over to her window, which was open for some odd reason, she knew she had locked it after watching the news report early this morning.

"Weird? How in the world could that be? Did I lock it or did I just-" a knock at the door brought Everlynn out of her thought process, she headed for the door looking through the peephole, not so much to her surprise it was her ex-husband chance.

"Come on Ev's I know your home, please can we just talk about this, please give me a chance to explain myself at least!?"

Everlynn sighed in irritation, then looked at the clock on her wall, she was running short on time.

"Listen chance I'm not opening this door, we are not having this talk, what's there to talk about? Why not go talk to the girl that you so graciously didn't mind making out with..."

She heard a loud bang on her door.

"Everlynn!! Come on I was drunk I'm sorry!!"

She just sighed.

"Listen I've got class and I can't miss this class so just do me a huge favor and leave me the fuck alone, that was your last chance and you blew it, sorry not sorry now leave before I call the cops."

As she said the last part, Everlynn heard a loud huff then loud footsteps leaving , she sighed in relief and rubbed the bridge of her nose, she needed to get dressed and leave or her professor would repamend her for sure.

Everlynn made it to her college with 10 mins to spare so she thought about grabbing her favorite Starbucks coffee before heading into class.

"Oh heavenly dark chocolate hot mocha with extra foam and whip how i love thee! "

She giggled and sighed to herself still with 8 mins to spare since the line was only one person long. She wasn't paying attention and accidentally walked into a person's back hitting her nose.

" Ow ow ow! Ooh that smarts."

Stepping back and looking up she noticed the figure she bumped into belonged to a man looked about 6'2 and..did he have white hair?! She thought to herself "weird". The man turned around taking his ear buds out.

Oh I'm so sorry I didn't mean to be in your way?! Are you okay, your bot hurt are you?" The man noticed the coffee in her hand. "I didn't make you spill your coffee on you or the ground did I?"

The man's question came in like a flood she couldn't help but laugh at this, she had looked at him through her laughing and noticing his icy blue eyes and tan looking skin, for sure his white hair did not match his eyebrow color at all, they were a dark brown for Pete sake. She finally stopped laughing and took a breath.

"Heh it's okay, it's cool I was the one who wasn't looking where I was going and bumped into you hitting my nose, and yes I'm fine, no my heavenly coffee is good no spills nothing." She smiled a little.

The man out stretched his hand to her in a guester of greetings.

"My name's Dominic, it's nice to meet you, do you go to this college?"

She looked at his hand and took it returning the greeting, she wasn't about to be rude to a person on her first meeting beer dad raised her better.

" It's a pleasure to meet you, my name's Everlynn, and yes I do , as a matter of fact I'm about to be late to my Litature class!"

Everlynn waved Dominic goodbye and dashed off. Dominic brought his hand to his mouth and stared after the girl, he studied her, she had hair that looked like the sun blonde and honey colored, it reached to the middle of ber back, her eyes were a sky blue with fleeks of gold in them, she was not taller than 5'3 it seemed and she was beautiful.

Dominic whispered to himself..."I found you Everlynn."

He dropped his hand and a smile spread acrosed making his icy blue eyes flicker dark midnight blue, he turned around and walked off to the admin office smiling.

In class, Everlynn had just made it with 2 mins to spare and sat down. She thought about her morning , about how chance annoyed her and tried to be sly, about her coffee and now, the strange white hair guy Dominic, she thought more on that part for a moment then back to her dream she had , had that very early morning.

"Weird? That guys voice kinda.....no no I'm just imagining things ." She laughed to herself a bit then went to listening to the lecture. Near the entrance to the big class room a figure in dark stood there and watched her lurking and awaiting her time of leaving.
