4 Sudden Encounter

Feng stood there staring at the creature in front of him. A long neck with a narrow head, what looks like rocks growing on the back, with a long tail on it's 4 legs. It slowly walked around the field grazing on the grass.

"Yep...that is a dinosaur..." Feng softly said while staring across the field. He noticed that there were a few other ones too, some with varying sizes but all looked about the same.

-Land Dragon-

Danger Level: * * * * *

"Hmm...another name came up, I guess Land Dragon can fit, we call them Dinosaurs but I would consider this a dragon if I didn't know..." While Feng was still muttering to himself, a carriage was slowly being pulled by a white horse with a horn on it. Without realizing the carriage coming Feng continued to stand in the middle of the road watching the Land Dragon's eat.

"Hey there, can you please move out of the way?" A yell came from the carriage. An older woman with a pony tail that reached down pass her back was the driver for the carriage. With simple clothing and a short sword next to her, she had the look of someone who had been trained well.

"Ah, sorry, I was just watching the Land Dragon's eating. They were so amazing that I spaced out," Feng yelled back while laughing.

"Huh? What's fun about watching the Land Dragon's eat? Are you not from these parts?" The woman asked as she narrowed her eyes and put her hand on the sword next to her.

"Oh no, I'm... actually lost right now, I don't really remember what happened, but the next thing I knew I woke up inside that forest and stumbled out on this road..." Feng responded quickly seeing that the woman seemed ready to fight.

"You woke up in the Forest of Galis? That's odd...there shouldn't be any other village close enough to here..." The woman responded back while still keeping her guard up.

"I really don't know how I got here! The last thing I remembered was being choked by a bag and passing out. I don't even know what the Forest of Galis is!" Feng nervously said. Suddenly he realized that what was pulling the carriage wasn't a simple horse.

-Unicorn-

Danger Level: * * *

"WOW! A UNICORN!" Feng yelled and ran over to the carriage, completely forgetting that the woman was on guard already.

"Don't take another step!" Snapped the woman as she hopped off the carriage and drew her sword.

"Ah! Sorry, please don't attack! I was just surprised to see a unicorn in real life!" Feng said while halting his steps. He became nervous and put his hands up right away.

Feng noticed that in the carriage were 2 children that were popping their head out of the cover, looking at him curiously. Feng waved his hand while looking at them and smiled. The children were 1 girl and 1 boy, the girl had short black hair and a cute face, also wearing simple clothing like the woman in front of Feng. The boy had short messy brown hair and an average face, with an identifiable scar across his face from the right side of his forehead to his left cheek.

"Gina, Oren, back inside the carriage now!" Snapped the woman as she turned and saw the children looking outside the carriage. She readied her stance and stared at Feng, waiting for any sort of sudden movements.

"Look lady, I'm really sorry, I promise I mean no harm. My name is Feng Wu. I came from the small town Woodchip, and I'm telling you please believe me, I don't know how I got here or where here even is," Feng spewed out word after word while shaking.

"Mom...he doesn't seem to be lying, we should just go. He doesn't seem like he would do anything dangerous," The little girl Gina said from the carriage.

"Fine. but stand to the side of the road, if you make any sudden movements don't think I won't cut you down where you stand," The woman said with a displeased expression on her face, she sheathed her sword and walked over to the carriage.

"Wait could you at least tell me where the closest town is? I don't know where anything is, and I am scared of getting lost again," Feng asked while putting his hand down and looking at the woman.

"...Follow this path down behind me and you'll see the village of Garo. If you truly mean no harm, the guards will examine you there, now stand aside," The woman replied coldly as she got back on the carriage and pulled the reins for the Unicorn to move.

"Thank you!" Feng bowed after walking over to the side of the road for the carriage to pass. He started walking short after the carriage had left his view. After a few minutes of walking and absorbing the surroundings Feng saw a wooden sign stuck in the ground on the side that read "Garo,"

Feng stood outside the entrance and took a deep breathe while thinking 'Well, I'm guessing this is what the lady was talking about... hopefully someone can tell me where I am, and maybe how to get home...'
