1 Chapter 1: AM I THE ONLY PERSON HERE?

"AHHH My head hurts. what happened to me ?"

" where am I? why am I in these clothes? "

"This looks like a saline bottle attached to my arm."

"Why is my chest hurting like this ?"

"With these clothes and the look of this room. Am I in a Hospital?"

"Heyyyy anyone there? I need help, anyone??"

'AAhhh!!!!..... this pain I can't take it anymore. My chest it feels as if someone is piercing a blade into me. Ahhhh!!.... by the look of it my blood is clotted but why is it still hurting so much to sit up straight.'

"Nurse? Doctor?? anyone there?? what happened why is no one responding ??"

"Damn it I think I have to go call someone first ."

I pulled the needle of my hand from the saline bottle. I put my legs down, I don't feel much sense in them but anyway I tried to stand. I am having a lot of trouble standing up straight so I grabbed hold of the saline bottle's stand I started walking slowly toward the door with it.

I opened the door but to my surprise the corridor was dark and there was no one present I shouted

"nurseeee?? ... doctorrrrr??... anyone therrreee??....

but no one came.

"So I went back inside the room"

"What date is it? why can't I remember how did I Get here?".

There is a digital watch beside me. With time and date. today is 10.30am May 24.

' Last I remember it was May 16.'

' That day I went to my college then what did I do? I don't remember anything after that? But what actually happened? '

" Why Can't I remember anything?"

"Damn this I didn't even start to solve one problem and another one begin ohhh!! no, I gotta pee.."

"Where is the washroom here? there it is. Ahhh!! well nobody can stop nature's call. "

After I finished it, I turn towards the sink and the mirror.

(" Standing in front of the Mirror")

Looking in the mirror

' I have blue eyes. a normal face not too attractive neither that bad. A normal body I am not too build I did loss lot of fat I guess because I was in a comma with no food but just saline bottle .'

" Ahhh!!My face is all damaged with small cuts all over right."

"Man, I was not even too attractive how will I get a girlfriend with these . how did I get these?"

"What is it with these bandages around my head and chest? Did I get hurt doing something?"

"My head doesn't look like its bleeding but I am confused now, how severe did I get beat up like this?"

"let me check how is my head condition is in by removing the bandage of my head"

(" removes the bandage on the head")

"Aaahh!!! that proved it that I must have gotten badly hurt. well, my head injury is mostly healed but my chest one is still not healed. it must need some more time to heal up I think I have to find someone to change my bandages."

I started searching the room to find some clues.

I found a report with a name on the file,

'it was Nixonnnn.. Nixon blaze. with some personal details like

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 62 kg

Age: 18

and there were some details like I was in a coma since May 17 because of my head and chest injuries were too severe and also I did lose a lot of blood so because of that I went into a coma.'

" I did get the small idea why I was in a coma but I still don't understand where did I get these wounds from?"

" I searched There should be an emergency button here?"

"it was below the bed."

I pressed it but it doesn't work

And there were no bandages so I had to go out and had call somebody by myself

(" outside the room")

"Hellloo anyone here ?"

" I wonder why its so dark when its daytime?? "

It was very hard to see in this dark corridor.

"Where are the light switches? "

I searched for them and found them.... light switches are not working it looks like power outage but hospitals don't have that problem. the corridor was dark there was no power and the place looked like it was abandoned.

"Hello is anyone here ?? "

"Why are all the rooms empty ??"

While I was searching all the rooms in the hospital don't know why but I was having a feeling that something is bad and someone is watching me like all I was having cold feet.

" No one is on this whole floor. Am I The Only One Here?"

"I should go down to the ground floor on the way I checked and every floor was empty why? why?."

"Here also there is not even one person at reception or any person in the Whole hospital ??."

"I need to find some bandages and looks like I have to change them myself. I checked in other rooms ."

"where are the bandages?"

there was nothing

'there is a map here. most hospitals have the floor maps to help their patients. yes found it there must be some bandages there. Yeah, there are. '

"Ahhh!!!... this is really painful to change ."

'Well my mother was a surgeon and I used to get a lot of wounds playing since I watched her do my bandaging and she used to scold me for a whole day because I get hurt and all. that helps that I learned that to hide it from my mother to not get scolded by her.'

'once I finish this I should check what is going on here not a single person in the whole hospital why? I should find something other than this hospital gown they gave me it's all bloody but I have to do it at home.'

My muscles took their time to become normal, now i feel strong enough to walk without a stick but my chest still hurts a little bit.

I came out there was no watchman for the hospital either. I saw all the stores near the hospital were closed. it was windy dust and papers were moving with it. there was some burning smell mixed with it and I saw the sky there I could see black smoke. I saw there were no people or any cars not even a dog on the road. it was unusual for the highway to have no cars.

'I came out still confused with so many questions like what would have happened for people to abandon the whole hospital without a single person in it. I tried to run through all possibilities for this to happen.

1st possibility came into my mind a fire attack well there were no burned marks there so nope not possible.

2nd possibility any kind of natural disaster but there was nothing of that sort because something like that will leave destruction behind but there is nothing like that here this one also not possible

The 3rd possibility can be a terrorist attack, this one can work but there were no bullet marks in the hospital except I didn't check the cellar.'

"Aaaaa!!!! I can't figure this out what would have happened here?"

"Same thing here no one is on the streets in this broad daylight why ??"

Ahh I went to check the houses here.

"knock anyone home knock knock anyone there? the door is not locked no one is here? other houses are same too why?"

I was freaking out and sweating a lot. I didn't understand what was wrong so I decided to go straight to my apartment and then I should think about it there.

'My apartment was few blocks away from the hospital. it was convenient for us to visit the hospital if anything bad happens at home.'

"someone should be there at least in my apartment building, right? "

(" At the apartment ")

As soon as I reach to the first floor my apartment number was 109. it was at the end of the corridor. I checked all the rooms and most of them were open. Some apartments near mine where closed.

"knock knock uncle Roy are you there knock knock ??"

"knock knock hey Izumi you in there knock knock??"

"This apartment building is also not a single person is here ?"

" I should be in some kind of a dream? Am I ?"

"My room my phone is here ... ohh I remember I forgot my phone that day but where did I go?"

"and the phone is out of battery why?"

AM I THE ONLY PERSON HERE?"???...
