Arc 2: Learn, Adapt, Kill - Chapter 19

I gave Makima and Shouko a blank stare for being too horny. Fucking killed me a dozen times without even realizing it. Squeezing and squeezing until my body gave out several times. It's pretty much Nyarla all over again, only longer.

"Caretaker, the Boss has informed me that you are to invade an unclaimed world. You are to prevent anyone stopping Makima and Shouko from claiming the world, but on the condition that you use the contract power you have formed with Makima to attack while using any other cheats can only be used for defensive purposes." Ghost appears in front of my face to explain what will happen before going back into invisible mode.

"You hear that, Jin? You have to use my power if you want to kill anyone." Makima gently grabbed my chin as she leaned in to kiss me. "Remember, you have to do everything I say to keep using my powers. And don't worry, when I said you could only use it for a limited time. I never said how long it would be. So go all out if you have to. Just be prepared for the price you will have to pay."

"Well, it's a good thing I have so many cheats I can use for defense." I let out a frustrated sigh, not being able to end most problems the easy way, aka killing everything until it's no longer a problem.

"How many do you have, Jin?" Ruby looks at me in awe and curiosity, but mainly in awe than anything else.

"Too many, yet still not enough to deal with all the dangerous entities in the multiverse." I rub Ruby's head.

On another note, why does the Boss want me to help Makima and Shouko to claim a world? I'm their caretaker, not their bodyguard. Unless it's the same ordeal? Uh, chances are it is. Also, if Makima and Shouko were to claim the world, wouldn't that make it the property of the Hell pantheon and the Heaven pantheon? What would the Eldritch pantheon get out of that deal?

"I dread facing someone considered dangerous in your eyes, Jin." Weiss looked at me with dull eyes.

My simple answer to this is to point at Makima and Shouko. This confuses Weiss for a few seconds before she connects the dots. Going with the way, her face is drained of color; well, more than she was already pale to begin with. But, she just became paler by the second as both Makima and Shouko were now looking at her with smiles on their faces. This somehow scared Weiss even more as she took a step closer to me for comfort.

"Anyway, Ghost. Take us to the world so Makima and Shouko can claim it." I command Ghost. Then suddenly, everyone starts to fall. But it only takes a few seconds before I am the first to land hard on my back.

And just my luck, all the girls land on me, with Ruby landing first. Followed by Shouko, then Weiss, and finally Makima on top.

Ruby's big breasts pressing down on my face reminds me of that one time with Nyarla when Lucky Pervert worked its magic for the first time. Although this time, I don't have my dick in someone's mouth like with Yor. I wonder if Lucky Pervert was taking a break and missed the opportunity it just missed.

Soon, everyone got off me one by one while I took the time to spread En to find out what kind of world we were invading so that I could plan defensive measures to stall long enough for Makima and Shouko to do their job and claim the world.

"Oh, we're very lucky, Shouko." Makima said to her friend, grinning as she glanced around the area. "To think we would find the infamous Highschool of the Dead and also among the many worlds that Takamine would love to claim for herself due to most of them producing many high school students as fate's chosen ones."

"I can understand why Takamine would love this world, but why would it be infamous?" I ask Makima, seeing how she knew about this world before I found out myself, and it looks like Highschool of the Dead is more widely known throughout the multiverse, which is strange since it's not extremely dangerous if you have supernatural powers.

"Infamous for its unpredictable shape-shifting into different genres as a new focus of development." Makima begins to explain as we move to a safer area.

I've already used the Delay Effect to keep the natives from fully acknowledging our existence and our sudden appearance from the sky without any broken limbs from the fall.

"There are many worlds that could potentially shift to a new genre; however, for one that is like the Highschool of the Dead, the name of the world, I have yet to find out who came up with it. But it has been many years since its discovery and everyone just goes with it—too many worlds to keep on picking new, better names. Anyway, among the many worlds, the Highschool of the Dead is considered a gamble world to claim for the beginning of its development is always the same, yet near the middle of its development. Anything is possible, and many have already figured out how to influence its development to go in the direction they want." Makima explains as she opens the door to a cafe.

Everyone sat down while I ordered for everyone and continued to use the Delayed Effect to prevent the natives from listening to keep the locals from overhearing the conversation and paying any attention to the girls before things got crazy, not that things wouldn't get crazy once the zombies showed up.

"So, other than influencing the changes of the world. What makes this world so recognizable?" Weiss asks Makima.

"Besides, many events happen in this world, and the natives who are listed for always become fate's chosen ones. It's mainly the fact that the natives here have a higher chance of adapting to new influences. For example, one researcher had a world similar to Highschool of the Dead. They managed to send some natives to other worlds by running them over with a truck. Allowing this researcher to explore these other worlds, 50% of the time are unclaimed. While the other 50% of the time are claimed worlds, causing the owners of those claimed worlds to invade the researcher's world." Makima continues to explain, but stops after she is handed a coffee. "Of course, this caused several wars between pantheons before things calmed down. And now, we have found an unclaimed world with the same potential to lead to other worlds. Whether or not we accidentally enter someone's claimed worlds. It won't start a war, but we will have to pay a trespassing fee."

Really, Truck-kun? So some random ass researcher either created the damn truck or drove it, running over people and sending them to their new isekai life.

"Do we learn this in school?" Ruby asks next after taking a sip from her hot chocolate cup.

"Of course we do. Ruby, but in much more detail than Makima is telling us." Weiss answered Ruby's question before anyone else could.

"Weiss is right. You will learn more about it. After all, once this was discovered. Many people wanted to do the same thing, but there's a very good chance that will happen, even with the same worlds after they've been claimed." Makima slowly sips her coffee. "It has become one of the central core subjects taught to all students. You'll learn how to identify the unclaimed world immediately with the right methods. Make things easier for everyone."

"Alright, enough of this. Ruby and Weiss can learn about this once they enroll in the school. How about we start the process of claiming this world?" I decided it was time to stop with this conversation, no matter how useful the information was. It was not something I needed to know as a caretaker. Unless, of course, the Boss plans to make me take care of a freaking world, which I really, really hope that would never happen. I've got enough on my plate as it is.

"Well, there are countless ways to claim a world. But seeing how you have to protect us, Jin, during the whole process. We can take the quick but hard way or the longer but easier way. Either way is fine with me." Makima finished her cup.

Shouko nodded in agreement with Makima.

"How long is the quick but hard way?" I ask Makima, ignoring Ruby, who is staring out of the window with a confused and shocked face.

"Mostly a day or two if no one interrupts us." Makima replied, and Shouko agreed with a nod. "Of course, it will be longer if someone forces us to make a small mistake. That small mistake alone will force us to start all over again."

"Right, do we have to go somewhere or can we do it anywhere?" I look out the window, wondering why Ruby is still staring outside in shock. In fact, Weiss is staring out in shock as well. "Ah, we may have to switch places. It seems we have stayed here for too long."

There are zombies outside and the crowd is panicking. Some run away. Some fight back, but end up being bitten and devoured by nearby zombies, which either leaves them dead or turns them into zombies.

"Well, I can clear the area for us." I clap my hands together, causing all the zombies within a mile to be crushed by an invisible force, destroying the zombies' bodies but causing no damage to nearby people or objects; even the zombies' clothing was left untouched. "Makima. Why?"

I forgot that canon Makima uses this method of killing from a long distance, which requires her to be in a higher place, such as a shrine, the name of a target and a human sacrifice. However, I didn't meet any of these requirements and was still able to do what canon Makima could do. But, I remembered the price for doing this, and for some strange reason, Makima had already made me pay the price now than later.

"What's wrong, Jin?" Ruby asks in concern, no longer caring about the zombies outside.

"How about going under the table, Ruby? We can wait a while while you solve the problem after you check what's under the table." Makima winked at me, teasing me that she had just tricked Ruby quite well, and she knew that Ruby wouldn't mind being tricked, but would thank her for it.

"Oh! Don't worry! I'll take care of it!" Ruby shouted under the table, and then I felt Ruby move between my legs and unzip my pants to 'solve' the 'problem'. As in, Makima had forced my dick to become instantly hard through the contract. And now Ruby gets the chance to suck my dick without any problems.

"Wait, what's the problem?" Weiss looked under the table before quickly sitting up straight with a flushed face. "Really?!" She looked at me, then at Makima. "We're here for an important task and you want to do this now of all times?"

"It's okay, Weiss." Makima smiles. "We have plenty of time. There is no deadline. So, if you want, you can join Ruby. After all, Shouko has already joined Ruby." She pointed to the empty seat next to her, where Shouko was sitting.

"I'm surrounded by perverts." Weiss groaned into her hands. "I thought it was less about sex and more about dealing with the dangerous events after Ruby and I left our world."

"Oh, don't worry about it. It will be dangerous, no doubt. It's just that when you travel through the multiverse, sex is a much easier way to deal with stress than anything else. Except for the Cultivation pantheon, they barely have sex and focus more on training themselves to death if they don't improve." Makima chuckled. "Of course, they would go completely crazy with sex once they realized they couldn't improve on their own and resorted to dual cultivation, which is sex, if you're wondering."

"Again, why?" I stare at Makima, trying my best to keep the Delayed Effect active through En. While also ignoring the heavenly blowjob I'm getting from Ruby and Shouko, the latter is teaching the former how it's done through a demonstration.

"Because why not?" Makima grins.
