Arc 1: The Meeting - Chapter 56

"Speech"

Freezing is set in a slightly futuristic world where Earth has been invaded and is at war with beings from another dimension called Nova; the story follows the adventures of a Japanese boy named Kazuya Aoi who enrolls for training at a special school for genetically modified girls called Pandoras who battle the aliens. Their male partners, called Limiters, use a special power called Freezing to limit their opponent's mobility.

The protagonist makes the acquaintance, read: harass, of an unusual older girl named Satellizer L. Bridget, who appears to be the most powerful Pandora in her class—debatable but has not yet chosen a male partner to be her Limiter, aka she doesn't want to fuck with any dudes due to past trauma, and despite the warnings of all his friends, he decided to be her Limiter because the girl in mind triggers the siscon in him to want to fuck her. While Satellizer just wanted to be alone and move on with her life.

That said, all the girls are damn busty, not at the same level as Nyarla, but enough for me to notice immediately. Also, I can sense Nyarla's murderous intentions toward everyone in the area. A new day and I can already predict the many outcomes by the end of today.

Also, it seems nearly all the men are glaring at me while the girls, Pandoras, stare at me with interest. Do I have a paper stuck to my back saying that I'm better than all the men in the world and I'll fuck any girls? Because I may as well have it with these stares aimed at me for the most part.

Then again, unlike the male students here, having either one girl or they have to share, not including the harem that Kazuya would gain later on. Many beautiful girls are by my side, even if they aren't humans or Pandoras, and could easily kill everyone here. I swear even Shouko can blow up the planet if she is pissed enough, and that's me underestimating her since she is from the Heaven pantheon.

"I swear that bastard better not put me down as a student." Yui growls.

"Honestly, we shouldn't be put down as a student in this school. All of us are too old to be one." Makima said to Yui, causing the latter to frown harder.

"You're forgetting who is behind this whole thing." Yui pauses to smile at me. "Not that you're at fault, Jin, but you know who I'm talking about. If anything, there is a very high chance you would be put down as a transfer student here for the month of our stay here unless Ghost here gives us more mini-tasks to reduce our time in this world."

"Ghost?" I called out.

"Sorry, Caretaker. But, no new mini-tasks have been made." Ghost reported while continuing to stay invisible.

"Maybe we will get one after meeting the Military Academy West Japan Genetics' Headmistress." Takamine said to everyone, being the one to take in the joy of being a student.

"Whatever the case is, Jin has to be with me. After all, I am his main priority." Nyarla said to everyone with her eyes glowing brighter and more sinister that would bring a chill to anyone, that's normal, who dared look her in the eyes.

"I think it would defeat the purpose of making all of us split apart, seeing how Jin's job of being a caretaker for all of us would be at risk if we're not all in one place." Yor said to everyone.

We enter the building, ignoring the whispers going on around us. It's funny how if it wasn't for me using Delayed Effect to make it so the girls' reality warping passive effects didn't begin to affect the world around them and banish it away with Lion's Heart. Many deaths would have happened. Especially when I need to make sure none of our conversations can be heard by the natives as I made sure of it. Since many natives would be too damn curious about what we're talking about.

Although, I'm curious if Makima and Shouko would do the same. I have yet to figure out what Yui's existence would cause on the reality around her. Maybe she has better control over her existence's passive effects than her daughters.

"Should I be concerned about the lives of the natives? I rather not have another repeat." I said to the girls, mainly towards Nyarla, Yor, and Takamine.

"Don't worry, Jin." Yui pats me on the shoulder, then she winks at me. "I'll make sure my daughters behave themselves, right girls?" She gave each of her daughters a meaningful smile.

"I won't kill someone as long they don't touch my Jin." Nyarla leaned more onto me, nearly making me fall over if it wasn't for Yor doing the same on the other arm.

"As long as they don't piss me off, I won't stab anyone." Yor said calmly.

"I won't cause any problems as long no one troubles me while I show off how perfect I am in class." Takamine said proudly as she continued to hang off my back.

"There, I made sure they won't do anything bad." Yui gives me a thumb-ups.

What the fuck do you mean they won't do anything bad?! It sounds like they will do something bad if any stupid natives come near them! They only need one stupid native to do something, and they would surely blow things up on a massive scale, maybe erasing all the native lifeforms on this planet! AGAIN!

Well, time to expand the range of En further. There, I now have covered the entire Japan.

Eh? Perfect Timing; what do you mean you need me to protect Satellizer from Kazuya right now? What do you mean I need to leave the girls alone for a bit?! Instead of protecting Satellizer, it's more like you want me to destroy the world by making the girls jealous!

You know what? I'll help from a distance instead of leaving the girls alone. Damn it, Perfect Timing; how is this making it worst?! I'm helping Satellizer, am I not?!

I let out a sigh, then just as I was about to use many overpowered cheats to get this done and over with. Perfect Timing screams at me not to do that, as things would become even more complicated than it already is.

What the fuck? Why have I got to leave the girls alone for this?!

"Oh, look. Someone is interrupting a fight." Makima said to everyone, and sure enough, a fight between Pandoras was across from us.

However, it was one versus many, and Kazuya just tackled Satellizer to the ground.

"I feel like I'm going to regret this... Ghost, explain to everyone what's going on." I groan, causing the girls to look at me as I follow the escape method from the Old Ways and use Ren to increase my speed and appear right before a Pandora can cause any harm to Satellizer with four chains with pointed weights on the ends.

I slap all the pointed weights part of the chains away, then move closer and faster than the enemy Pandora could comprehend. I appear behind her to strike the back of her neck, instantly knocking her out cold. Afterward, I quickly move to Satellizer and the delusion Kazuya and knock out the latter as well via neck chop. Then, I grab the back of his collar and toss him to the side.

I gave Satellizer a nod, then walked back to the girls.

I was already expecting Nyarla to be on my case for leaving her side for even a brief moment, but to my shock, to see her staring—wait, she wasn't staring at me but behind me.

I slam my left food on the ground, channeling the Delayed Effect to stop Kazuya's Freezing from taking form.

"Oh?" I turn around to stare at Kazuya, who is glaring at me with hatred I wasn't expecting to see from a main character who was supposed to be friendly.

"Looks like we've encountered one of your suitors, Shouko." Makima spoke up, causing me to blink in surprise to hear this.

"BASTARD!" Kazuya roared with rage, causing nearly everyone to flinch and take a step back. "First, you dare be in the presence of the Goddess Komi?! Now, you are getting in my way of being with my beloved Satellizer?! You're courting death!"

The fuck? Courting death? Is this Kazuya from a Chinese culture or something? Because I'm pretty sure he is Japanese, not Chinese. Unless he is one of those cases of an outsider's soul taking over another person's body, aka transmigration.

Honestly, I didn't expect to find a young master in an anime/manga world. Yet, here he is, trying to freeze my body with his Freezing ability. But, failing still and with his face turning very red, I can tell he is trying to brute force his Freezing ability to work, not realizing that all his effort is pointless under the power of Delayed Effect.

Multiple yellow blurs appeared at the corner of my eyes before the sound of someone choking briefly before going silent afterward, which happens to be Kazuya killed by Yor throwing her golden stilettos to the neck, heart, and through the left eyesocket.

Okay, so killing the main character straight up on day one of what should have been when canon started.

"Quick question: Are we in a world outside the Eldritch pantheon's controls?" I ask Yui, dreading the punishment I'd face in Yor's place unless she is punished instead.

"Oh, don't worry. This world is under the Eldritch pantheon's control." Yui replied, making me sigh in relief.

Because I do not want a repeat with the Hell pantheon, even though I wasn't technically the one punished, and I want to keep it like that.

"By the way, should we do anything since Yor killed a native?" I look at the dead body of Kazuya or someone that took over the original Kazuya's body.

"It's fine. Just a random soul from the Eastern pantheon that shouldn't be in this world in the first place. If anything, it's because this person died under Yor's hands that makes it better, since if the soul had died by a native's hands, then this soul would be able to reincarnate into another world belonging to the Eldritch pantheon and do who knows what. However, since Yor killed him, then that soul is kicked off this world and banned from entering any worlds under the Eldritch pantheon's control while taking away many things from the soul as part of the contract for being allowed to enter this world and among others.

"Huh." I watched Yor walk over and crush the guy's head under the eyes of the crowd, but none came out of their shock thanks to the Delayed Effect influencing their minds. "Wow, I didn't think Shouko would have suitors outside the Heaven pantheon."

"Oh, she very popular with all the pantheons." Takamine answered. "And that was among the many worse ones that we could encounter. Good on spotting one, Jin."

Shouko looks at me in awe. I don't know why.

"Next time, just let one of us kill the suitors. You don't have to do anything but make sure to take care of me." Nyarla resumed hugging my left arm.

"Us, Nyarla. Us." Yui pokes Nyarla's cheek, smiling happily.

Okay, so now the main character: Kazuya, is dead, even if it was someone else at the time, but still dead, and I guess canon, or what was left of it, is pretty much gone now.

Well, shit.
