31 Ch.29 - Forever and Always

A week later Marlin walked out of a courthouse physically and emotionally tired. Thanks to Damien the trial was as speedy as possible. She felt slightly guilty for everything Damien had done but she tried to hope that it wasn't just for her. He clearly had wanted her boss convicted too.

Sebastian noticed the way Marlin slugged to their car and he swept her off her feet. She gasped but lazily sunk into his arms afterward. "How do you feel?"

Marlin jutted her bottom lip out," like a warm bath and coffee?" She clenched her legs together at the knowing look he pointed toward her.

"How many have you had?"

She pouted harder," just one! That's really good!"

Sebastian couldn't help but cave. "I spoil you," he murmured.

Still in his arms, Marlin placed a lingering kiss on his lips. "Forever and always, Daddy?"

Heart radiating in his chest, he grinned.

"Forever and always."
