Hylixe's POV

After bathing, I ate the rice porridge that Warren cooked to me. It tastes delicious though. I didn't know that Warren knows how to cook . But we decided to go to the company to welcome Horus' arrival. I hurriedly enter the car and as Warren drives the car, someone message me on Hermes.

'Hmm, to whom it may be?'

I checked it and saw the name of Tharion.

"I brought you a present and come into my place tomorrow to get that" he texted

'Oh, I nearly forgot that he's on a trip right now and he's actually brought me a gift? I wonder what it was'

Warren seemed to acknowledge my good mood.

"Why so happy all the sudden?" he asked

"Someone brought me a gift. Receiving a present is really nice. Of course I'm happy" I replied

"From who?" he asked

"From a guy who's I'm interested the most."

Suddenly, a loud screech filled my ear and seems like Warren is really shocked on what he heard.

"A GUY?"

"YOU LIKE GUYS?!"

"I mean I'm not to discriminate but, gender these days aren't important. The most important was to live with happiness" he said thoroughly

'Oh, he misunderstand!'

'What to do? What to do?'

After that insane misunderstanding, we just keep silent until we reached our destination.

'Agh, this is awkward'

When we reached Hermes building, I quickly stepped out of the car together with Warren and walk inside the building. After we entered, the loud whispers filled the facade.

"I were told that Master Jin Hyluxe will be here soon to check. I wore a face mask whole night to make my skin lighter and softer. Do you think he will notice me?"

"I changed my lipsticks today, he will definitely notice me first"

As we walked by, the girls were come by and greet me.

"Where's Horus?" I asked

"He was here early in the morning to work and he's definitely in your office by now." Warren replied

We headed up to my office as we ready to face Horus. That Horus lead my brother into humiliation and now, that money-eating monkeys just asked me to work here. This Hermes Company... It was build by my brothers blood and sweat and was continued by my brother's devior. I cannot let anyone destroy it on my watch!

A footsteps appeared and before I knew it, Horus was already on our front.

"Hey little Hyluxe... It's been a while" he said while scratching his nape and smiling

'This horse! How cocky'

"Oh dear friend---I mean cousin. Why are you so early?" I said

"Oh that, ha-ha" he stopped as he give me a teasing glare.

"My mom said that you agree on letting me work in Hermes. I came early so that I can tell that I'm serious taking this sh*t" he said

'Argh, is he here to make me furious?'

"So you think Hermes is some kind of sh*t?"

I just chuckled as if I am telling him that his intuition were wrong.

"No, it's not what I meant. I mean, it is almost shatter isn't it? So it was only near to some sh*t"

"But this sh*t's assets makes your mother in her position right now. So maybe if weren't it build, you're just a pauper begging for food right now" I said with a grin

After that words came out of my mouth, I can see that the words were striking him thoroughly like a double blade scythe. I quickly changed the mood and lighten things up.

"Enough for the cliche talk and let me show you your office, my beloved cousin" I said and make him follow me

I'm not the one who will loses for just a fatuous peasant just like this horse. Anyone who wants a war with me then I'll fight, just make sure that they will not regret losing to me.
