1 Chapter 1: The Pill

Today was the day Daniel Espel the father of twins Kyron and Katie Espel would get the prototype pills that would turn him into an animal, his animal would be a bear and to say he was excited was an understatement, he had been up most of the night.

"Morning Dad" Kyron and Katie said at the same time as they wandered down the stairs to where their dad was, seeing how excited he was they looked at each other and smiled, they already received their parcel for the test trial but today their dad received his.

Daniel went to the door to check who it was, the twins heard him faintly say thank you before he rejoined them in the living room holding a parcel, he carefully opened it to reveal its contents, it was the pills, one tub was red, the other was blue taking them out he saw that the tubs where seethrough and it was the actual pills that held the colour not the packaging.

Once he emptied the parcel and the contents where laid out in front of the trio, there was the two tubs of pills and a leaflet. Daniel grabbed the leaflet and. Carefully pried it open, reading the contents out loud.

"Congratulations on being chosen for this new drug test trial....

As you can see there are two drug packages, One Blue and the other is red, here's the instructions and the side affects.

Instructions:

The blue drug, this is the drugs that will turn you into the Animal.

The Red drug, this is the one that will turn you back into a human.

As soon as you take the blue drug you will feel the effects take place within 5 minutes you would of transformed into your pre picked animal, don't take the red drug for a minimum of an hour, if you do take it before the hour is up the side effects are more likely to occur. The red drug will work within 5 minutes as well and you will be back to your human form. Whilst you are in your animal form you will not be able to communicate with people but you can communicate with other animals.

Side affects:

Common:

Random burst of talking chiberish.

More hair growth.

Amnesia.

Muscle aches.

Headaches.

Uncommon:

Insomnia.

Vomiting.

Exhaustion.

Fever."

"Is that it, dad?" Katie hummed as Daniel nodded putting the leaflet down and yawning, it was only 11 am but Daniel hadn't had enough sleep last night, "Go to sleep dad and try the pills tonight." Kyron smiled, "You're right, Ky!" Daniel bid the pair bye and traced up to his room.

Once they where sure their dad was out of earshot, "Are you sure we can't tell dad about our parcel?" Katie asked narrowing her eyes towards he twin brother, "I'm sure, when we use it, we have to pretend to not understand him." Kyron hummed smiling as Katie nodded sadly before Kyron added in, "Its what we where asked to do by the elders of the drug test, remember." A spark of remembering passed through Katie's eyes.

After a few tedious long hours, Daniel grumbled as he trended downstairs in some Navy pj's,  "How was your sleep dad?" Katie hummed looking up from her magazine, "Good." Mumbled a half asleep Daniel,  before realizing he can now use the pills, "Let's test these pills!" A new found energy found its way into the twins dad.

"Dad we have a headache. " complained both kids, already having a plan in place, "Go take some paracetamol,." Dan smiled at his two perfect (in his eyes) children, not thinking anything else about it.

Both Kyron and Katie went into the kitchen where they hid their package and both took the two single tablets that where in there, these tablets would last forever so there was only need for one of them.

Coming back into the living room which held their over grown child of a father, they smirked at each other one that held mischief, and spoke, "Dad while you where asleep we went to the pet store and brought some food bowls and water bowl as well as a bed and some other stuff." Kyron smiled at his father and pointed to the rather large bag in the corner of the room. "Thank you both of you, now let's get this show on the road."

Kyron and Katie helped their dad fill up the bowls with food and water and the lay down the bed and toys at the end it looked like they own a pet, when they finished their dad went upstairs to get dressed and bring the drugs down.

"Are you ready dad?" Asked Katie playing with her fingers as Kyron nodded, "Ready as I'll ever be!" exclaimed their dad, Ky handed over a glass of water and Daniel opened up the blue drug bottle and handed the red one to Kat and Ky, putting the blue tablet in his mouth,  he took a swig of water and the pills was gone, a growl can from Daniels mouth, obviously he was trying to say something, "Dad we can't understand you." Kyron hummed,  as they heard bones breaking, their dad whimpered, as he fell to the floor and panted, his figure got bigger and grew brown hair everywhere, his face was last to change, a snout became clear that was growing where his mouth and nose once was, and sharp canines protruded through his mouth and his nose turned into a black triangle shape and his eyes turn pitch black and like the rest of his body it grew brown hairs everywhere.

The transformation took 5 minutes and the twins had to say the bear was huge,  bigger than pictures shown, "Dad?" The twins said together as the bear growled.

They didn't know what to expect, if their dad was in control or not, it was a scary moment for the twins, now they had to wait.
