A popup menu asking Ayden if he wanted to equip the arms, which he promptly hit yes. As soon as the yes button was hit, it was as if the world had froze. A bright blue light glowed from under Ayden's feet, and before he knew what was happening, he found himself on a surgical table. A large saw came down on both sides of him and cut his arm off in a bloody mess causing his eyes to grow wide. If it was not for the fact that there was no pain and that he knew this was a game, he would probably be freaking out right now. He watched as the robotic arms began twisting and pulling on very thin lines from his shoulders before connecting them to wires that were connected to the arms. In only a few minutes, he watched as the cybernetic arms attached to his body and everything turned back to normal as if nothing had happened at all.

Ayden looked down at his new cybernetic arms and wondered what the hell that all was. "Was it because I turned on the mature setting?" Ayden asked himself. He decided that that was probably part of the mature setting. He just never thought it would be so graphical. Taking a deep breath after clenching his fists a few times he couldn't help but smile since this was a huge help to him. "I will be back as soon as I can with the flower."

"Mmm... I will be waiting." Ex-Sergeant Jackson replied while picking up a bottle of booze and taking a sip.

Ayden left the alley and began making his way towards the city exit. His eye was actually producing a mini map with a blinking spot on the map, which was in the forest area a ways in. On the map, when he looked at it, a small hover over popped up saying the name of the flower he was supposed to find and bring back. The more things he found out about this cybernetic eye he got, the more useful he found it. Although just showing him the status of those around him was already quite useful, but this went far and beyond what he had expected.

It took Ayden almost thirty minutes to reach the city exit. What he found strange was that the city was surrounded by a large wall that rose up as high as the buildings in the city. There was a massive metal door that was open at this time, with a few guards checking people as they came and went.

He had to spend ten minutes in line to finally reach the guards. "Arms up."

Ayden did what he was told as he asked out of curiosity: "May I ask why you are checking everyone?"

"It is because people like to smuggle out certain things from the city. We can never let our guard down when it comes to those who are trying to gather intel about our city defenses for the other cities who wish to take us over. You're clear." The guard replied. Ayden nodded his head in understanding as he turned and looked back towards the city. It was big, but it was encircled by high cliffs on each side. It was a perfect defense point.

He stepped outside and looked around to see a large open field and many players running about killing things. This was the normal method of leveling up. The grind. While some may complain about grinding, it was not too bad since items would drop from the cybernetic monsters, which could then be sold or used to craft new items. Even if they did sell the items they found, most used money to buy newer or better cybernetics. From the information, he had looked up. Only one percent of the game population could afford to use the credits they earned in game as a means of making money in the real world.

"Alright, so if I head north from here…." Ayden turned to go walk towards the forest, but he only got a few feet before he was suddenly stopped by a group of people. Looking up at the men in front of him, he could see that they were players.

"Hey, newbie. Do you have anything good you can share with us?" One of the men asked. His name was Trasheater. At this point, Ayden just wanted to know why anyone would name themselves Trasheater. The NPC he talked to when he created his character said names could not be changed. So such a name was beyond him. Next to Trasheater were two men, one named Redtail and Earwax.

"Why Trasheater and Earwax…." Ayden mumbled, causing both Trasheater and Earwax to wrinkle their brow. "You know us?"

"No, but to answer your question, I have nothing I can give you, so I will be on my way," Ayden replied. He knew these people were up to no good by stopping someone who was a new player. He went to step around them, but Trasheater stretched his arm out, blocking his path.

"You can't lie to us. We saw you in the back alley, and the old man there handed you something. Either you give it to us, or we keep you from leaving the city for as long as the game is online." Trasheater lips curled up in a sinister smile. But for Ayden, he only rolled his eyes. He knew they were lying. They might spend a few days at most before they got bored. But looking at the men in front of him, Ayden could see a white spot on their necks that had a line drawn out from it with the word: Weak Spot written above it. He then looked at the stats of the three men and smiled.

'Each one is level three with 80 to 100 health. One hit from me, and they would be dead. I really do not want to be letting people walk all over me while I am playing the game, so I guess the best way to deal with this is to get rid of the….' With this thought in mind, Ayden smiled as he tilted his head and said: "Sure, I can give you the item."
