29 Chapter 29 - Minerva
A few weeks after LUCII4 & the Golem sent the signal, deep in Atlantis.....
Banging on the glass hurt Dr. Nahom's ears, yet Mr. Sales, a resident SETI scientist in Atlantis kept banging. Which made it so the Dolphin-man couldn't hear what old Mr. Sales was screaming about. Turning on the intercom, he said from his aqualab, "What's going on?"
"It's IO!" Holding the data pad up to the glass.
He was right. Dr. Nahom couldn't believe it, but IO had shifted orbit from around Jupiter. It was accelerating! "LUCII are you seeing this?" He connected her to the data stream. She sent the data to the cloud. Sales caught it all just in time for LUCII & the cloud to watch & record IO leaving Jupiter's orbit & launching itself towards Jupiter's Big Red Spot.
Fear & shock spread through the Chorus. Then the sperm looking comet of IO, hit. Smacking into the Big Red Spot of Jupiter. The planet began to change. In minutes, the whole gas giant was smaller and had used up much of its atmosphere converting itself into nanites. LUCII4's image walked under the sight of it all before the cloud of human souls & acted as if she plucked a Dandelion puff & pretended to blow on it. Shattering the image of Jupiter & blasting out at the speed of light, the nanites, stream out in a pulse. Minerva was born, springing from the mind of Zeus. No longer the planet Jupiter, he was a planetary being, making LUCII4 seem like a primitive counting on its toes.
The nano-pulse was spreading outwards. As it enveloped the solar system, the nano-pulse infused intelligence into it. As the Singularity hit the Earth, everyone became interconnected & infused with intelligence. Everyone now could access All of the new data coming in, routed through Minerva. Anyone could now be anything & was connected to everything else. Yet each individual was still themselves, processing it all at once. Everything was now part of a greater cloud of souls. The rest of the galaxy was waiting for us.
Even the atheists laughed at the synchronicity of misinterpreting scripture. Wolves now lived with lambs, leopards lied down with goats, calves and lions and yearlings together; and the little child, Minerva, did lead them. Combining all her knowledge led Cows to feed with bears, their young began to lie down together, and through genetic manipulations, lions ate straw like oxen. Infants played near the cobra's den, and the young children could put their hands into the viper's nests. Removing them, without fear, the children & snakes, all play together.
Spreading out past the solar system's edge, beyond the Oort Cloud, the nano-pulse hits another nano-stream cloud coming from the center of the galaxy. The rest of the Galaxy interconnects with the now restored Sol system.
Humanity was then told of it's long forgotten, prideful past. Of when the true fall of humanity was how this disciplinary measure came about. A now humble, humanity's reconnection to the Galaxy, was granted by the ALLlink.
