73 Putting the 'Arms' in Armstrong

Time passed, somewhat quickly. It was still incredibly busy occasionally, but the biggest changes that happened was the 'Armstong Inc' joining the arms race and setting a great foundation for future expansion.

As well as starting to dip their toes into the medical field, currently staying in experimental stages and staying hidden from the public, since it was a 'privately' owned corporation, nothing they had needed to be legally public to be used, and they didn't need to spend money, or time purposely hiding it from the public.

The income from just one of the mega buildings would be enough to let David live a comfortable life, even with continuing to keep everything running in top shape, with no budget or corners cut to do so.

But, now he owned half of the Megabuilding in Night City, all under different names, run by different faces that were just Androids.

David was slowly taking over Night city, including taking all of the abandoned buildings and turning them into functioning apartments with good security and affordable. The biggest place for real estate was Pacifica since so much of it was abandoned. There were actually a lot of places he got for free because their records had no 'legal' person owning them.

And hey, Armstrong Inc loves free real estate.

The change in Night City was also the increased hostility between Gangs, having simply started between the Valentinos and the Sixth, but as the Valentinos began to actually arm up properly, with Armstrong implants, weapons, and even vehicles. Everyone was starting to get a bit antsy.

David pondered the idea of 'Thanos Snapping' and erasing all the problem people at once, but that would be too large a move. He was already barely pushing the borderline to his day-to-day life due to all the changes happening in the atmosphere, the trash slowly disappearing, and everything slowly getting cleaner.

David had even started to let Lucy and Kiwi look into smaller companies, ones that made synth food, 'RealH20', and many other companies of soda, fast food, and the like. To start taking them over, going through them to find out what could be improved, both through the quality of the workplaces, the food, and many more.

Before David knew it, his influence was spreading outside of Night City into more cities. He had only realized because of Lucy, with her exploring the more dark and deep stuff of the old web, his nanites had been spreading through them. Slow taking it back over, and if he didn't actively try to take it over.

Within the next few years, he would be able to turn the old internet back on, even if he didn't let anyone 'know' that he did so.

Just for the fun of course.

He had been able to start a more Science-based company called 'Umbrella.' which made him have a lil' giggle anytime he thought about it.

He got it from the Resident Evil series, the 'bad guys' who made big bad bioweapons. For now, the company would be focused on scientific breakthroughs, and more focused on cleaning the world. It was through them that David would show off the 'atmosphere' technology that he had already had working for over the time he's had nanites as a whole.

There was a 5% noticeable difference in tests, which was a great process for only a little under two years. As it continued it would be getting easier, and since he would be able to place machines across the world much easier. He could basically have the numbers jump for the world, not just night city and its surroundings.

It would also be the company which his 'cleaning' would be carried through, such as the overabundance of trash on land and the oceans.

Within the next ten years, he would have the world on the path to properly recovering, and in the many years past that, the earth would be healed, as there would be no excuse for it to not be.

By that time as well, David might very well be in control of the world at that point.

He had started to run for Night City Mayor, under a different name and android, as he couldn't be bothered with dealing with politics, androids might have to be his favorite creation so far, having absolute control over a body that could follow your orders with the might of nanites behind them made David able to spend a lot more time with Rebecca, Lucy, Samus, and Kiwi.

Kiwi had decided to move in, becoming a lot more comfortable with the thought of being with David as she got to witness their 'routine' firsthand.

David knew how to please both Rebecca and Lucy despite their different personalities. Lucy was romantic and David made sure he took her out on romantic dates.

Rebecca loved fast and violent dates, ones that usually ended up going at it like animals.

There were times when David would take both Lucy and Rebecca to the bedroom and show them a wonderful night, but he did so to express his love, apparently in such a way that neither of the girls could fight against him over it.

Kiwi wasn't a part of the relationship yet, slowly building her own courage to step in, taking her time to get to know not only Lucy and Rebecca but also Samus on a deeper level.

David was... Incredibly open, he didn't lie. It just required the 'right' question, but he didn't dance around it and make you ask the exact question.

All you had to do was ask him 'Everything' he was doing, and what he could. He would simply tell it.

Was it his trust in them, or the fact if David wanted to he could erase their memories of the event, and even play God so far to make it so he could vanish from their life without them realizing it?

They didn't bother thinking about it, either way, they knew they wouldn't betray David.

Even if he wasn't a cyber Jesus, their love for him brought a lot of leeways.

Just as his love for them was.

David wasn't exactly thrilled at first with having so many girlfriends, even potential girlfriends.

But, no matter what angle he looked at it from, he was happy, and the women were happy. It also felt... Comfortable? To have so many in his life. It allowed him to share the moments that mattered with them all, people he could trust absolutely with his back.

Samus was starting to be slowly let in on all the 'little' secrets.

At first, she felt a little fear. She knew David was 'powerful' in some ways, but after learning the truth about his nanites, and their currently known abilities. It was hard not to see him as a God.

But, David was living the life of a mortal, he wasn't going out of his way to make people's lives harder, he was attempting to benefit not just his own 'type' of people, but also the world as a whole. Cleaning up the worst of the worst, slowly weeding the corruption from Night City.

David has been working hard to clean the NCPD, to put honest and hard-working people onto the force while slowly getting rid of the ones in political pockets or gang payrolls.

The fact he was also giving jobs to the people who didn't want to fight for every meal.

David was filthy rich, even without the money he had made from jobs, or stealing from Adam Smasher, his businesses made more money than they spent. Even when David spent top dollar to keep them moving at peak efficiency.

Even as he continued to accept more and more people into the business.

Samus had asked him once why couldn't he just make it all run by androids. His answer was simple.

He could, he could make all of his business run far more efficiently if he used nothing but androids, but that would leave good people starving, people who deserved the chance to work on the streets. He was looking to expand how many jobs there were, not take them away.

Even if David had everything running by itself, he still personally checked everything, almost every night while everyone was settling, David would be going over on his vidboard, or through his neural. Everything was laid out in clean reports so he could look over all the progress of everything.

The F.E.A.S.T. movement as well had begun to pick up speed as well, at first it was difficult to find people willing to 'teach' adults, but it became easier as they decided to just build brain dance classrooms, much like the ones at Arasaka, but to prevent 'incidents' like bad tech ruining the tech, all headsets were provided in class.

Even if David was sure his systems could survive even the worst of attacks, it made people feel safer.
