1 My Fiance Was Cheating

Ye Anxin stood at the door of the Civil Affairs Bureau. Today, she was wearing a white T-shirt and a pair of dark jeans and carrying a black backpack. Her long black hair was tied into a ponytail, and her fair face was tender and youthful. She had beautiful eyes that were round and big, clear and translucent, and she had a perky vibe. She had a straight nose, as well as perfectly sized lips. Her delicate figure and the outfit she was wearing made her look especially fresh-faced and neat. Although she wasn't exactly drop-dead gorgeous, she was alluring and charming, and no matter where she went, she attracted much attention.

Ye Anxin had been waiting for an hour, but Mu Rufeng, her fiance who she was here to meet in order to get their marriage certificate, still hadn't appeared. He wasn't answering any of her calls or text messages. This made her more annoyed with him than she had ever been before.

Mu Rufeng wasn't an irresponsible man. He wouldn't not show up for no reason. If something had happened at the last moment, he definitely would have called and told her. However, he hadn't even sent any text messages, so what on earth was going on?

Just then, a Land Rover stopped in front of her, and the man she'd been waiting an hour for got out of the driver's seat.

Upon seeing Mu Rufeng arrive, who was so very late, Ye Anxin skipped over to him and took his arm affectionately. With her big, beautiful eyes beaming up at him like crescent moons, she said with a smile, "Why are you so late? Do you realize I've been waiting for you for an hour already? What happened? What have you been doing? Why didn't you call me? Don't you know the Civil Affairs Bureau is about to close soon?"

"Anxin...I...I...I have something to tell you!" Mu Rufeng looked at Ye Anxin's delicate doll-like face and couldn't bear to spill out all the words that were stuck in his throat.

Ye Anxin burst out laughing. "What do you want to say? Why are you stammering so much? This isn't like you."

Just as Mu Rufeng was trying to figure out where he should start, the door of the passenger seat of his Land Rover opened, and a familiar figure stepped out of the car.

"Xie Yunlu, what are you doing here?" Ye Anxin frowned upon seeing this woman who had appeared suddenly out of nowhere.

Xie Yunlu was wearing a tight-fitting minidress with straps today. With her enormous golden waves of hair casually flowing down her shoulders and her exquisite, perfectly done makeup, her beautiful facial features appeared even more alluring.

Xie Yunlu's lips twitched slightly as she glanced at Ye Anxin with a sneer. Then she domineeringly flicked Ye Anxin's hand off Mu Rufeng's arm. Instead, she leaned her head on his shoulder and said with a smile, "Rufeng, since it isn't easy for you to tell her, then I'll say it for you. Ye Anxin, I'll tell you the good news. I'm dating Rufeng now. He won't be getting that marriage certificate with you today."

Ye Anxin pulled Xie Yunlu away from Mu Rufeng, then asked him in anger, "Have you lost your mind? Do you even have the right to speak here?"

Upon being pushed away by Ye Anxin, Xie Yunlu lost her balance and almost fell to the ground.

Upon seeing that Mu Rufeng didn't react to her getting pushed by Ye Anxin, Xie Yunlu bit her lip, approached him again, and shook his arm with great force. "Rufeng, say something! Did you forget what you promised me? Your child is in my stomach."

Mu Rufeng glanced at Xie Yunlu, grit his teeth, and finally said to Ye Anxin, "Anxin, we have to break up. I don't love you anymore. The one I love is Yunlu. From now on, we shouldn't see each other anymore."

Ye Anxin glanced at Mu Rufeng. "I'll give you one chance to take back what you just said."

Feeling uncomfortable because of the way Ye Anxin was staring at him, Mu Rufeng lowered his head and could only spit out with great difficulty, "I'm sorry."
