------------------

Due to leveling up to level two, I had unlocked new units to play with.

[Greater Eldritch Laborer] Level 2 Normal. Created by leveling up [Eldritch Laborer]. Each level-up costs 30 gold.

[Greater Eldritch Soldier] Level 2 Elite. Created by leveling up [Eldritch Soldier]. Each level-up costs 500 gold.

[Eldritch Beholder]. Level 2 Elite. An Eldritch creature specialized in the long-range, this unit can shoot from 500 meters away; being a soldier and not a full beholder, the range is cut by half, but the added movement makes up for that. Costs 1,500 gold to summon.

[Lesser Old One Spawn] Level 2 Lord. The lesser of the lesser spawn of a Great Old One, it is mighty even with its low ranking due to being a spawn of a Great Old One. One can be summoned for every 500 soldiers or 50 [Greater Eldritch Soldier]. Costs 12,500 gold to summon.

[Lowest-Tier Eldritch Priest] Level 2 Lord. They are the lowest priest tier in the Eldritch ranking, but though they might be the lowest, they are still incredibly mighty. One can be summoned for every 2,500 total Eldritch summons. Costs 25,000 gold to summon.

With the new information I have on the prices, I can now do what I was going to do initially. I use 200 souls and transfer it to gold with a conversion rate of 1 soul for 250 gold.

[Gold: 56,015]

Using 1,935 gold, I bring the total amount of [Eldritch Laborer]s to 1,000. I then used 17,750 gold to get the total amount of [Eldritch Soldier]s to 500. The total amount of soldiers has reached 500, so I summon the [Lesser Old One Spawn] for 12,500.

[Gold: 23,830]

Emptying the rest of my gold, I summon 15 [Eldritch Beholder]s, and with this, my army is ready for now—a total of 500 soldiers, 15 Beholders, and a Lesser Old One Spawn.

[Gold: 1,330]

I use the last 49 of my souls on building up [Fall] so that it isn't as weak as before. Like that, I ran out of everything, and because I wasn't farming food or resources like other Demon Kings, there was only one thing I could do. 'Kill anything in my path and take their soul,' With this thought, I assembled 450 of my Soldiers, the 15 Beholders, and the Lesser Old One Spawn. 'Observe'

[Lesser Old One Spawn]. Level 2 Lord Unit.

HP: 700, MP: 350, STR: 45,

CON: 35, AGI: 40, WIL: 35.

Loyalty 100% (Locked).

Tiredness 10%. Hunger 10%.

Skills: Maddening Aura (Talent Skill), Chaotic Eldritch Qi (C Rank), Understanding Denial (C Rank), Eldritch Constitution (C Rank), Hateful Inspirement (C Rank), etc.

Summary: This is the spawn of a lesser spawn of Cthulhu, and bearing even a bit of his bloodline, he is as ruthless as his creator. This one is blessed with a high constitution and powerful rallying skills. He is utterly loyal to his lord.

Looking at this summon, he did look a lot like a lesser version of Cthulhu with his miniature wings, squid-like face, and humanoid body attached to that. Standing at six meters, he was a force of greater magnitude than any of my summons before him. Walking away from my troops, I use my [Red Dragon Form] and take flight to go and find a target.

(Five Hours Later.)

It took a while, but I've arrived here with my troops. 'Observe"

[Village Of Despair]. Level 2 Lord area. This Village had been a hub for slave traders, and due to the despair the enslaved people felt, the area had slowly been feeding off of it. In the end, when a mysterious entity had destroyed the village, the despair it generated didn't dissipate. Possible rewards: Black Iron Treasure Chest. Undeath Gems. Various ores, etc.

I walked forward into the area in the village, and as soon as my front claw touched the edge of the site, a massive amount of skeletons started appearing out from the ground. The skeletons' numbers were high, as I estimated about 3,000-4,000 strong, but none of that mattered. I spotted an abnormal one with a robe in the back, 'Observe.'

[Skeleton Mage Lord]. Level 2 Lord monster. This was the head mage of the slave traders business. While he was obsessed with magic when alive due to the high amounts of despair turning into negative energy, he was reborn as a [Skeleton Mage Lord].

[Skills: Necromantic Fireball (C Rank), Chain Fireball (D Rank), Chain Lightning (D Rank), Lesser Magic Shield (D Rank), Life Drain (E Rank).]

The battlefield went silent as the skeletons dug themselves out of the ground. My army was not moving; the skeletons also didn't move in response. I took a step forward in my [Red Dragon Form], and all hell broke loose. The skeletons charged forward, and in response, I said one word: "Go..." And like that, my army was off forward to meet the enemy in battle.

In the end, the battle was one-sided if you think about it, as my army could absorb negative energy, and the skeletons built off of it didn't add to the chances of the enemy winning. I flew into the air and over the battlefield as I was already getting the logs of my army killing the skeletons.

And with me being in the air, it wasn't long before I was shot at by the [Skeleton Mage Lord]. Dodging his Fireballs in the air, I started my chant. "I who shall Awaken." I instantly felt a boost in my power as I flew over the battlefield, with me growing a bit in size and becoming a deeper scarlet in color. The [Skeleton Mage Lord] noticed this and started firing faster, but with my boost in agility, it was only becoming easier to dodge.

"I am the heavenly dragon who stole the principle of domination for god." Another boost in stats was given even more fireballs in my way, only for all of them to be dodged by me, even with my increase in size. "I mock the infinite and fret over the dream." The [Skeleton Mage Lord] fired multiple [Chain Fireball]s like a machine gun, only for me to dodge every one of them again.

I could see it getting frustrated, but in my mind, I had already won the battle. "I shall become the red dragon of domination." In its rage, trying to stop me, fired multiple [Chain Fireball]s and [Chain Lightning]s, and even with all of these and the sky looking like a light show, I was still able to dodge as my agility was already over double what it was before. "I shall drown you in the depths of crimson purgatory, [Juggernaut Drive]!"

My size grew, and my aura exploded outwards, only to be sucked back in rapidly. I opened my jaws, and the only thing that could be seen was a deep orange glow drowning out any way to see my teeth. My eyes grew a deep shade of scarlet, also taking on a scarlet glow. Channeling my [MP], I opened fire on the thousands of skeletons below.

My breath was almost beam-like in its force, and when it touched the ground, the fire spread out forward like the raging waves of a tsunami. The [Skeleton Mage Lord] tried to put up his barrier, only for it to be shredded instantly like wet tissue paper being pulled apart by the strongest set of hands.

Even with that, I kept going on my path of destruction, setting a blaze to anything in my way. And only after five minutes was the battle over. My troops took zero casualties due to my intervention and their ability to absorb energy from the skeletons to regenerate.

[You've conquered the Village Of Despair. You've gained Exquisite Black Iron Chest x1.]

My gold had risen to  17,545, but on my face was a frown, and that was due to one message I had missed as I was causing chaos.

[Game announcement: The Demon King safe period has now ended!]

With this, Demon Kings could now be sensed and killed by Heros, but due to me not being in the game when I killed those Demon Kings, it counted as them dying to wildlife, which saved me in the long run. I checked the chat, and it was going even wilder than usual.

[The Safe Period has ended, and now I'm getting pushed by Heros!]

[I knew getting this low-tier Demon King would bite me in the a*s.]

[This is goodbye, guys; it has only been a few minutes, but somehow the Heros have found me.]

[Yeah, I'm going to die too, so... My final message.. Change the world.. Goodbye.]

[Damn, usually I would clown you on that, but... See you, brother; we won't forget you!!]

[WE WON'T FORGET YOU +1]

[Some of us won't make it, but still, it's hard to say goodbye.]

[Yeah, in the end, I would tell you to stop glazing, but I just feel bad in this scenario.]

[I'm doing good in the area I spawned in, and no Heros have come, but I did see a red dragon.]

[NOBODY ASKED FOR YOUR THOUGHTS BOZO!]

[+1]

[+2]

[To that guy doing good, did you know that your mo-... Remember, you have no enemies...]

[Was bro about to low-tier god him?!?!?!]

[LOW-TIER GOD HIM FOR REAL!!!]

I had once again seen enough, so I checked the number of Demon Kings remaining. [Demon Kings Online: 999,996,837] Over three thousand had died in only 30 minutes.

It seems I will have to be super-extra prepared before I attack the towns most of the Heros live in...
