4 Chapter 4 In an induced coma

Sara sat for a while thinking is this really happening or is it a dream. Her heart ached she daydreamer of all the times she spent with her father. How he would encourage her in all her dreams and achievement. He always supported 100%. Tear just flowed like a waterfall down her cheeks. This was so unbelievable.

She remembered the way he made her feel better when she was ill. The gorgeous smile that her mom always said she fell in love with. All of a sudden she remembered her Mom! Where is she where were the twins???

She rushed towards the nurses station.

"excuse me but where's my mum and the twins, Charlie and Ruby?"

The nurse said the doctors had taken her mother into theater as she needed an operation. A piece of wood had pierced her lower abdomon and they were controlling the bleed as well as treating her for the smoke inhalation and burns.

The twins were in ICU in an induced coma as they had suffered a lot of burns and couldn't take the pain. She rushed over to the twins room.

As she entered seeing them hooked up to monitors and machine her heart ached. How her family was destroyed because of this fire! Charlie lay there raw red, skin had peeled off from his face and arms. The nurse was in the process of bandaging him. Tears ran down her face her baby brother looked lifeless.

She remembered how both Charlie and Ruby being so active. How they loved sports, they always compeated against one another to be better than the other. They chatted so much she used to tell them off to be quite, how she was missing that.

She walked over to Charlie and sat close to him, whispering "you need to get better I miss you talking. Even when I'm annoyed I miss you very much. I want to hear your voice." soon as she spoke to him the machines started beeping and Charlie eyes flickered repeadly.

"what's happening nurse?"

"I'm not sure let me get the doctor" the nurse replied worriedly.

She left the room and soon entered Dr. Harrison, "let me check and don't worry" he continued to thoroughly check Charlie "I think he wants to wake up and he's fighting."

"is that a good thing that he is wanting to wake up" asked Jenny as she walked into the room. She heard the conversation whilst she was walking towards the door.

"yes and no, yes because he's strong and is willing to fight which is good but it's bad as he's wasting his energy to recover, he needs to rest to recover from these injuries."

All of a sudden, a nurse came rushing in " Dr Harrison I need you next door, come quick there's something wrong." she was in a great panic.

"wait here I'll be back". He exited the room to see to the emergency.

"Jenny will you see who's in next door?" Requested Sara. " I don't know but I have a horrid feeling it's someone I know."

Her heart was panicking, it raced and she was praying at the back of her mind I hope its not mum or Ruby.
