6 Chapter Five: February 13th 2027

When Vixi woke up she was excited for two reasons. The first being that the horrible dream, no nightmare she had last night was just that a dream and nothing more. For in her dream she once more was confronted by the wolfman who started to strangle her after killing Kat.

As for the second reason why she was happy was because tomorrow was Valentine's Day and she was hoping to ask Kat to go to the dance with her tomorrow night. She knows it's usually the guy who's supposed to ask the girl but Kat is always too busy with some new invention of his to be bothered in thinking of asking her or anyone plus it would also mean he'd have to admit he had feelings for her. Besides she waited this long for him so there's that as well.

So with a yawn Vixi slowly gets out of her bed throwing the blanket to the side before walking over to her closet in her full body unicorn footy pajamas. She looked through her closet for an outfit to wear only to settle on a simple red skirt with black trim and a black t-shirt with a little fox cartoon character on it with heart eyes on it.

After changing clothes she pulled her hair back into a ponytail with a red ribbon. She then put her charm bracelet on which had all sorts of different little fox pendants on it. Then with a smile she put on a little lipstick before heading out the door and to the park in hopes of running into Kat along the way.

See she didn't live far from the park as well as was next door neighbors with Kat thus many times the two of them would walk to school or the park together. In fact now that she thinks about it the fact that the two of them aren't a couple is more confusing then the mystery behind her nightmares as well as her visions of the creatures in the ruined town of Sigma.

Once out her door Vixi paused to breath in the fresh winter air. Now most people don't like winter or the large amount of snow that they get in her northern Michigan town of Mancelona, but she was different. She loved the winter and the snow and was twirling down her driveway towards the sidewalk with a smile on her face not even the visions and nightmares could take that away.

"You get too excited about the snow Vixi." tease Kat as he came out of his house bundled up in a thick jacket and had a hat pulled over his ears and neck.

"If I was an animal I'd play in the snow all day and night." replied Vixi with a smile as she stopped twirling and walking up to him before adding, "What about you?"

"If I was an animal? I would be a bear and sleep through winter." replied Kat as they started down his driveway.

"I think if you could be an animal you'd be a cat so you could sleep all the time." teased Vixi as she playfully bumped into him and smiled.

"And what's so bad about that?" asked Kat with a smile and a yawn.

"You know for someone who is either tinkering with his inventions or sleeping you yawn a lot." teased Vixi.

"What's it to you?" huffed Kat.

"Just that its cute." replied Vixi not wanting to make him mad. Thus after a short pause she sheepishly asked, "So you got any plans for tomorrow night?"

"Not really why?" asked Kat not even aware of the trap he'd just stepped in.

"Well you want to hang out or do something together?" asked Vixi as she slowly drew him closer to being trapped.

"Sure what'd you have in mind?" replied Kat totally oblivious what tomorrow was other then Sunday and it wouldn't really click until they reached the park which would be any minute now.

"Well there is this event tomorrow night at the school. There will be food, fun games and cool music." slightly replied Vixi with a smile.

"Sounds fun." replied Kat about to agree to go when they reached the park and he went to reach set down at a picnic table only for his eyes to lock with one of the posters advertising the Valentine's Day Dance that would be at the school tomorrow night and he sighed, "Vixi, we're just friends. besides the dance is no place for nerds like us."

"What do you mean?" asked Vixi half heart broken half knowing this was only the first round of her attack and he just gave her more fuel for the battle.

"Well your a pretty girl and could easily pull off the whole dance thing but me I have two left feet and the coordination of a blind bull in a china shop being attacked by bees." replied Kat as she joined him at the table

"So you think I'm pretty?" asked Vixi. This was it she had him now. "Then why not take me and show me off to the rest of the school?"

"Maybe I just want to keep you all for myself?" teased Kat half knowing that she would more then likely misinterpret it and half because he was tired of hiding his feelings.

"Really?" asked Vixi half shocked half happy.

"You know you're just my friend right?" asked Kat as pulled out a sandwich from his bag and as he was now trying to back petal his slip up.

"Yah, so why can't we just go as friends then?" asked Vixi with a smile.

"Because I have better plans for tomorrow then some lame dance." replied Kat with a smile as he closed his bag and started to eat his sandwich before adding, "But you're going to have to wait until tomorrow night to find out exactly what."

With that Vixi just sat there in amazement hardly able to hold back her joy and even felt that her vagina had gotten a bit wet from the excitement. She had to quickly rush off to the bathroom to check herself out a bit before heading to back to the table and getting out her own food.
