1. Cursed Kiss

Kumo No Mura, a small village surrounded by dense trees. The village looks comfortable, cool and peaceful.

Many mythical legends such as Yokai and some other spirits roam the village of Kumo No Mura, although no one has ever witnessed it directly, but the residents have great faith in the lengend of spirits.

In the village lives a high school student named Oikawa Haruki. He is 17 years old, unlike the other citizens who are old-fashioned about Yokai, Haruki actually doesn't believe in such mystical things.

'Things like Yokai are just lies and human imaginations, they are not real,' is the mindset engraved in Haruki's mind since childhood.

Although born into an Oikawa family who mostly lived as shinto priests ( people who perform rituals at shrines ). Haruki is not interested and instead thinks everything mystical is ridiculous.

The Oikawa family also has an old temple called kannon-ji, a temple passed down from generation to generation and will never be neglected by the Oikawa family. They also often perform rituals in kannon-ji.

Although Kannon-ji Temple is so quiet that there are almost no visitors, the Oikawa family is still trying to preserve the temple.

The Oikawa family is not actually a wealthy family like other priests, therefore Haruki thinks that these are all stupid things.

The shrine is just a pest that impoverishes the Oikawa family, when everyone tries to preserve Haruki instead thinks of throwing it away and forgetting.

He argued that there were many other ways to raise up poor families except with temples, but everyone did not want to hear about them.

This is quite natural as the son of the head of the Oikawa family, Haruki actually does not want to preserve his culture, of course his idea will not be recognized.

He has brought a lot of trouble, not only the actions that made them ostracized, Haruki even challenged his father to preserve the kannon-ji temple. Hanzo can no longer restrain his emotions.

"Haruki, what do you really want? It is a tradition for the citizens of Oikawa to guard Kannon-ji Temple and you told me to forget it? As the son of the head of the Oikawa family, you are embarrassing me so much! Until when do you want to throw mud in my face?"

Despite being constantly rejected, Haruki still tries hard to convince his father, even though he realizes it is impossible.

Is there no other way to make the Oikawa family better?

Haruki stepped up the stairs leading to Kannon-ji Temple with full thoughts. Just as he thought that this day would be deserted without inhabitants, he was surprised by the figure of a girl visiting the temple.

She wears a yukata, her hair is a long blonde, she closes her eyes and squats down. Mumbling something is like praying.

From a distance, of course, Haruki couldn't hear her muttering, but Haruki felt the girl's gaze, air, and strange aura. It's hard to describe in words, but obviously there is something different about the girl.

Her name is Nanase Sakura, a transferist who has just been in Kumo No Mura village. Sakura is a friendly and polite girl that's how people respond, but for Haruki it's just the opposite.

Sometimes Sakura seems surprised at something and sometimes paled because things are not clear and according to the point of view of an Oikawa family, Haruki thinks that Sakura has something related to Yokai.

Although Haruki himself couldn't guess what kind of ability he had.

When Haruki's eyes were watching Sakura, the girl suddenly opened her eyes wide as if aware of the existence of something, she looked a little tooth and panicked.

Sakura suddenly ran from the shrine in a condition as if frightened.

What's wrong with her? She looks like was being chased by something?

While running, Sakura apparently tries to get down from the stairs and she seems unaware of Haruki's existence in front of her eyes.

The girl was too focused on her own thoughts, continuing to run in fear as if something was chasing her.

Sakura's feet tripped because the slippers she was wearing suddenly broke, she fell down the stairs. When she realized the figure of the man who was none other than Haruki was in front of his eyes, she opened his eyes wide and shouted.
