Cursed by the Heavens

Eye colors depend your strength in this realm. Green being the lowest and gold being the highest. Gold eyed beings were treated as gods by many. With just their fingertips they could overturn the heavens. Every ten thousand years would such people come to be born with one. Born when the moon aligned with the sun, a child with strange writings on both of its eyes had come to be. Believed to be cursed by the heavens, no one dared to look into his eyes. His own family scorned him and people call him crippled. Always in the shadow of his older brother who was believed to be a genius born every once in a thousand year.
