1 Waking up

Everything is cold, I try to open my eyes but it hurts. It's almost like they are glued shut. My heart starts pounding, 'what happened, where am I'.

" Hey, he is awake go get the doctor now!" A female voice urges another. I can hear foot step come closer to me.

" Get him started on fluids and slowly finish the process." A deep male voice says.

I hear a his of air and then the cold starts to leave. " This might be a bit warm." It's the same female voice from before. As I lay unmoving l feel a warm liquid on my eyes, I can feel the glue wash away. " Now I am going to put some glasses on you. You've been asleep for a while so the lights will be vary bright."

I manage to nod so she knows I understand. " Lift him gently onto the bed." She says. I feel four pairs of warm hands and they carried my to a comfy bed.

I try opening my eyes slowly. As I open my eyes, I let them adjust to the light. Looking around I see the female doctor standing by my bed. And there are five males, one is a doctor and the other four and what looks like military people.

" My name is Dr. Clark" The doctor points to himself, " and this is Dr. Debonair." He points to the woman. Ponting to what I would assume are the military, " And these are the top officers in our military."

' I new it,' I thought with a smile.

" After you recover they are going to train you so you get stronger from being asleep for 2000 years" Dr. Clark states.

" Back up, back up, back up. You mean to tell me I have been asleep for 2000 year?" I count on my fingers. " That means the year is 4020."

Dr. Clark nods, " You maybe have bee asleep for 2000 year but we have only been in charge of your care for five years now. Hoping you would wake up soon. There is a new pair of doctors ever 10 to 15 years. To ensure you get the best care."

'wow' I thought, ' has it really been that long since the accident? I can't believe I have been asleep for 2000 years. I wonder if anyone else was asleep like me.'

Getting a closer look at Dr. Clark and Dr. Debonair, I can really see their features. Dr. Clark is a tall man that is on the skinny side. With dark brown hair and brown eyes. Dr. Debonair is pretty average height with black hair and bright green eyes.

" Do you remember your name?" Dr. Debonair asked softly holding a pink clipboard with a matching pink pen.

I have to sit here and think for a minute, my mind racing.

" My name is Sebastian Windle."
