1 The Call (01)

One sunny morning, I woke up really early to get ready for my morning run. Viviane also woke up because of the noise. "It's early in the morning Elyse", "I know, sorry for the trouble" I chuckled "I'm just excited today, because Zayne and Ally's gonna stay with us starting today!" "You're so excited for today" she smiled. After I Ieft and start my morning run, I recieved a call. "Hello?" I said after I answered the call. The person who called me didn't answer, it was unknown. "Sarah help me! She's gonna kill me!" I stopped for a moment and said "I'm sorry but, it seems you have the wrong number". "That's bullshit, stop lying to me Sarah!" Before I could respond, the call was off. "That was.. weird". I felt chills around my spine as I heard her scream on the phone before she hung up. I hurriedly got back home and told Viviane what had happened, "That must be a call prank Elyse, block the number, I'm sure it's a prank or maybe a scam", "That's what I thought at first but, she called me Sarah. She said that she needs my help because, someone's going to kill her, she sounds desperate". An awkward silence broke us "Just be careful Elyse, I don't want anything bad happen to you" she said with a worried look "I know, I'm sorry if I made you worry. I'll block the number and won't answer it for a while" I smiled at her reassuringly. After a few moments, she suggested we should probably get ready because Zayne and Ally's gonna be here any minute. As I was preparing the table, my phone vibrates again, an unknown call was to be seen on my phone, I answered but before I could speak, "Why didn't you come earlier when I asked you to? You're my best friend but.. why?", I hesitated for a while. "As I told you before, it seems you've got the wrong number miss", "Now your trying to avoid me because of her, right?" I was a bit pissed of what she said but a mix of curiosity and fear painted my face. I ended the call. "Who was it? Is it them?" Viviane asked. "Yup, they said they'll be here soon, no need to be impatient" I smiled to her, not letting her worry once more. A few moments later, the doorbell rang.
