5 CHAPTER FOUR

I woke up to someone shouting.

???: "Sensei!"

I go to the door and open it. No one there. I hear the same voice yelling from downstairs. I walk down and see Genos standing outside Saitama's door. He hears me walking down the stairs, and walks up to greet me."

Genos: "Good morning, master!"

Cupid: "Why are you calling me master and Saitama sensei?"

Genos: "Well, master, it would be confusing to call both of you the same title, and Saitama seems to have a more forceful fighting style. I have the same approach of using absolute strength to crush my enemies, so I mainly want to learn under him."

As he was saying this, Saitama finally opened the door and saw us standing in front of his door.

Saitama: "So, you really came. Huhhhhh, come on in I guess."

He then opened the door and stepped to the side to let Genos in. They both start walking to the living room of his house as I struggle to fit in the door. These things need to be made to pixie size. I wonder if I could get that to be a meme? Heh, we'll see later on. I finally get in the door to hear Genos ask Saitama a question.

Genos: "What kind of parts do you use, sensei?"

Saitama: "Don't use any."

Genos: "Then what about the skin-colored armor on your head?"

Cupid: "Ptfff-, he's just bald Genos! With how strong he is, I wouldn't be surprised if he trained so hard his hair fell out."

Genos: "Stress has been shown to lead to early hair loss... but to be bald being so young."

Saitama: "So I'm bald-what's your problem?!"

Genos: "Me? You'll listen to my problems?"

Cupid: "Oh no..."

Saitama: "No thanks, I'm good."

Genos: "Actually, four years ago, when I was 15..."

He started rambling on about how his village was destroyed by a crazy cyborg and that he was the only survivor. He was turned into a cyborg by Doctor Kuseno so he could stop the rampaging cyborg. He still cant find the cyborg, blah blah blah. I already know all this so I just zone out till Saitama yells at him.

Saitama: "Enough, you idiot! Shorten it to 20 words or less!"

Genos: "Sensei and Master, here's the short version: Please teach me the way to become strong like you."

Saitama: "Genos..."

Genos: "Yes?!"

Saitama: "How old are you?"

Genos: "Nineteen."

Saitama: "So young... I'm sure you'll surpass me in no time."

Genos: "Do you mean that?"

Saitama: "I'm 25 now, but I was 22 when I started training in the summer. Sure, I'll teach you. But it wont be easy. Can you handle it?"

Genos: "Yes, sir!!"

All of a sudden he zoomed out of his seat and crouched down on the floor.

Genos: "Object approaching at high speed- It's here!"

I decide now's a good time to try out my adapt ability. I focus on all my senses and they very quickly get better by a large margin. I can hear all the way down the block. I can smell what I had for supper yesterday in my room a full story below. I can feel the air movements and can sense where everyone and everything is in the room. I can see the pores where Saitama's hair would be from across the room. As I try to sense what's outside the apartment, the wall is destroyed by some weird praying mantis like monster.

Mantis: "My name is...huh?"

His head was then blown off by a punch from Saitama. His weird green blood would have gushed out of the wound, but I quickly put a barrier where his head would be so he wont stain the floor. I then hear some voices from outside. I look out the hole in the wall and see a slug guy and a from man. I quickly jump down and slice them both down the middle with my finger nails that I adapted to be longer and sharper. My main ability may be defense, but I still have a huge amount of strength. I then hear something moving around underground so I trap it in a barrier. I bring the barrier up and see what appears to be a human sized mole man. Before I could kill it, a huge lion man charges at me and starts swiping at me. He gets one hit on me and a large scratch appears on my chest. It wasn't a very deep cut because of my defense, and it heals almost instantly. I then trap the lion man in a barrier too and turn around to see Genos fighting a robot gorilla. I then decide the two monsters I have in the barriers aren't useful and create a very thin barrier between their head and their body, instantly decapitating both of them. I let go of the barriers and slowly walked over to Genos and the now defeated robot gorilla, who now is shown to not be a robot, but a cyborg. He clearly still has a gorilla head and was just using a helmet to hide his face.

Genos: "Answer the question or be eliminated. Your choice."

Gorilla: "It is you who will be eliminated. You fool. I am the third most powerful fighter in the 'House of Evolution'. At your power level, you will never beat the Beast King, the second most powerful. You will be destroyed. I make. A barrier box around the Beast King's head and walk over to them.

Cupid: "You mean this guy? He was so weak he only landed a single scratch on me from his little surprise attack. To bad it didn't even do anything, I'm already healed. Now, if you don't want to end up like this little lion, you should very quickly give us the coordinates of this 'House of Evolution'."

He starts to tell us about the mad scientist who regains his youth and clones himself with genetic modification. He talks about how he created new species out of human animal hybrids. Saitama interrupts him and Genos makes him summarize in 20 words of less. The gorilla tells us his master is interested in Saitama and me. We head off to go to the House of Evolution.
