Jack finally could get some breath of relaxation after he had carried hundreds of things throughout the day. And all were considered rather extremely heavy when your energy steadily diminishes.

Especially these bags of fertilizer that he was currently staring at were some cumbersome work.

Taking a quick look at his phone he saw that it was already 1:13 pm.

"Aunt, I'm finished with the last task you gave me." Jack looked back over to Leah who had a bright smile on her face.

"Just call me by my name, Jack. Don't make me seem older than I am." Her words were friendly but there seemed to be a slight undertone in them.

Jack just looked at her blankly for a second. But she was his aunt, no...?

Alright, he knew she was cranky about him calling her aunt, but did that really bother her that much?

It was weird. If he had a nephew or something of that sort, Jack would definitely love being called an uncle. It had a mature ring to it.

Well, men and women tick differently.

"Okay, Leah. So as I said, I'm done over here. Anything else that needs lifting?" Jack corrected himself and saw how his aunt smiled even more from that alone.

"No, that is actually everything. Thank you for your helping out today. You really were a great help."

"You're welcome. It was my pleasure."

"Really?" Leah rested her chin on her hand and looked Jack all over with a smirk.

"You're probably hitting it big with the ladies, aren't ya. With being so capable and modest, that is. And that good-looking face ain't bad either. Makes me wanna take a leap of faith. So, you got a girlfriend, handsome?" Her last words were said in a much sweeter voice.

"Seriously?" Jack raised a brow now at her asking something like that while also keeping her straight face.

"Hehe, look at you getting all awkward. I'm just pulling your leg. Though I do wonder why you are still single?"

"Who said I am? Now someone is making weird assumptions." Jack chuckled at that.

"Oh, please. I can clearly see you now being the loner type. It's such a waste." Leah rolled her eyes a little.

"Sure, aunty. I guess your nephew is just waiting for the right person to spend their life with. I guess I do have something in common with my aunt." Jack smirked and just shrugged his shoulders after he made a half-serious comment.

Leah though widened her eyes when she heard him. She understood very well that he was just teasing her and basically saying she is an older single woman herself. There was really no place for her to judge him that much.

But at the same time, the last part got her surprised and it made her feel warm in her heart.

[Charisma +1 for Host leaving a positive impression.]

"Huh, looks like when you are coming out of your shell, you can be quite the smooth talker. I'll forgive your first comment, though. Anyway, you can stop for today and enjoy the rest of it. How about getting yourself familiar with the town?"

"Sounds good. Then I will take my leave. If something comes up just give me a call." Jack nodded and undressed the apron he used and placed it back where it was supposed to be.

"Have fun. If there is anything you can do the same."

After leaving the shop Jack stretched himself firmly. His body felt very rusty. By the feeling he was not really used to lifting heavy stuff.

'Right, KISS. What was that about my stat increasing?' He had kept that at the back of his mind to ask his system later.

[What about it, Host?]

'How is just talking increasing my charisma that fast? I'm not really complaining but I never really saw myself as someone incredibly charismatic. So I wonder why this went up suddenly.'

[...] For some reason, KISS remained quiet for a short moment.

[The host made a good impression on his aunt. That is what charisma is all about. Gaining favorability from other people by sheer speech. It is the art of using words.]

'I get it, but I am already at 14 charisma now. Didn't you say that is nearly at the peak of a normal human? Sounds fishy to me.'

[Oh, now I get what Host wants to know. You are a beautiful person. It is of course easier to influence other people and be charismatic with good looks.]

'Isn't that cheating?'

[Not really? Even good-looking individuals can be jerks or be unable to communicate well.]

'Then I am curious what my stat would be without my looks. Humor me and calculate that for me, please.'

[Confirmed....Calculating...Done. Charisma would be 5 without your high looks and genetic trait.]

Hearing that response sure got Jack to stagger a little and an annoyed twitch at the corner of his smile could also be detected if anyone looked at him right now.

'So much for not cheating. I knew I was never the greatest talker but I definitely know when someone is saying I would be a sociopath otherwise...Actually, I guess it's rather fitting with me talking with a voice inside my head. You even sound like my own inner voice as well. Maybe I'm just hallucinating you.'

[+1 Intelligence for figuring out something complex.]

Now Jack widened his eyes. 'Are you for fucking real!? Now you are even mocking me!? Damn, I must have some inner unsolved problems with myself somewhere.'

[Don't stress yourself needlessly. That is normal. You just figured out something on your own. It is true that I am your inner voice. That is because I am bonded with your body. It is the way I communicate with you.]

'Urgh, okay enough. I get the gist but if I start thinking about that even further I'm sure my head will implode or something. Let's just not go all matrix depression mode... Happy thoughts~'

Just at that moment, he noticed a comic shop to his side that also seemed to sell video games and other hardware for consoles.

Stopping in front of it he decided to go inside. Jack went straight over to the games section to take a look at the current selling stuff. That easily got his thoughts out of the gutter again.

'Hmm, looks like we are stuck somewhere in between modern and old. How is it that we are already having VR while the consoles are still stuck in the PS3 era?'

Well, that makes things easier for him. Jack now got back to starting his plan of making his own game.

And since there were some of the most viral games not here it means they had not been made.

Taking a look at the online site of this world's largest game selling platform he also figured out that he could take that place and make some big money.

'Also, instead of Steam, it's called Vapor here? God, I really need to get used to the different names fast.'

Making that final decision he started getting some stuff ready for himself. He also brought a rather cheap but good-sounding microphone from the electronics shop for later use as well.

Good thing he already had seen a webcam at home when he checked his computer. That did cut some corners.

Otherwise, the money he received from Leah would be gone just like that and he really meant all of it. Even the little bonus she gave him after this day of work.

Making money without having any was really a pain in the arse.
