Alec crouched next to him. “What are you doing?”

“Horaltic pose,” he murmured sleepily. “Come absorb the sun with me.”

“You’re napping upright?”

“Mmmm…yes…don’t you do this, too? Or is it just your special tree that transforms sunlight into energy? Come join me.”

Tuxtax pulled Alec onto his lap. The winged elf straddled his waist, curling his legs around him. Tuxtax pulled him close, looping his arms under the elf’s wings for support.

Alec rested his head upon his chest; Tuxtax purred as he felt the tickle of his lover’s breath on his fur.

“This is nice,” he murmured sleepily.

“This isn’t very comfortable,” Alec confessed.

“Too bad. You’re stuck like this forever,” he teased, squeezing him closer.

Alec laughed.

He kissed the crown of his hair and added. “Just kidding. Will you stay, though? I need some energy, but I don’t want to be apart from you.”

“Me, too.” Alec rolled off of him, then lay down, resting his head on Tuxtax’s lap.
