5 The mystical cavern

After spending the past 2 days bonding with his father, it was finally the day for his father's business call.

"I'll be in the truck on this call for a good while on this call, try not to hurt yourself or go to far from the camp site" Frank says to Percy while walking to the truck.

"Ok dad" Percy replies as he runs off into the surrounding area to explore.

Percy's main goal was to make his way to the top of the closest mountain and hopefully breakthrough to level 4. As Percy was slowly climbing the mountain he found a cave half way up the mountain hidden behind a boulder. Had his cultivation not progressed to where it is he would have missed it. After having to use all his strength to move the boulder enough for him to squeeze in he ,realized he could not see the end of the tunnel it.

After walking down the cave system for about 30 minutes he walked into a giant opening lit up by floating blue orbs. Channeling his energy into full circulation and summoning 2 claws on his right hand Percy shouts out if anyone if there. As if to respond to his request the orbs begin glowing even bright when he begins to hear the sound of stone grinding on stone and a passage opening up revealing 3 people slowly making their way towards him.

"Are you three ok" Percy tries to ask with their response being a low gurgling growl.

(great they are zombies) Percy thinks to himself as he prepares for battle.

As the first zombie waddles its way over to him Percy quickly dispatches it with a claw to its head instantly ripping its head off. While being detracted by the first zombie the other 2 manage to corner him. Barely being able to avoid the attack of zombie number 2 zombie number 3 managed to get in a clean hit to his back smacking Percy onto the ground. Rolling out of the way as zombie number 2 tried to get on top of him. After gathering his bearing he realized the zombies had driven him into a corner. Unfortunately for the zombies however Percy was prepared this time and was easy able to dispatch zombie number 2 with a round house kick to the head and zombie number 3 by ripping its head off with his claws. Releasing his held breath after the battle he thanked god that there was only 3 zombies. had there been 5 or 6 he would have been in a lot of trouble without a weapon or technique other than just his claw attacks.

"I'm going to have to create a technique or get a sword if I am going to be adventuring like this more often." Percy grumbles

Leaving the site of the battle he notices a long metal rod laying in the corner of the room that looked like it used to be the arm of a lever. "that should work as a weapon if I layer it with my energy" Percy thinks to himself as he goes into the hallway that the 3 zombies came from. Progressing further into the mountain Percy came upon a stone structure surrounded by 10 zombies and more glowing blue orbs. Preparing himself for a long battle Percy coats himself in energy as he begins to use his weapon like a spear taking out 2 zombies with a swift stab through the head. Before a 3rd zombie notices him he swings the rod like a bat hitting the 3rd zombies head off alerting the rest of the zombies to his presence.

"well there goes the element of surprise" Percy mumbles under his breath readying himself for the third zombie charging its way to him.

Brushing that zombie off to the side Percy swing his weapon at another zombie taking its upper body off of its lower body. Dashing backwards to keep himself from being surrounded again he notices one of the zombies behaving oddly. Instead of charging towards him like the others it is just standing there looking at him. after taking out a few more zombies, the strange zombie roars loudly stopping the remaining 3 zombies in their place.

"hello child, why do you impose upon this lair of mine?" The zombie growls softly.

"I was making my way up the mountain when i noticed this cave. I began exploring when i was attacked by zombies." Percy responds shocked that a zombie is talking

"Ah yes the guards I had placed out there to protect the inner sanctum. Child if you turn around and leave now I will ignore your crimes of killing my guards." the zombie threatens

"I'm going to have to pass on leaving. There are 4 of you and I've had no problem killing the others so what makes you so different? Plus if the zombies are created how I think they are I'd rather not let some necromancer or zombie plague spread out so ill have to put you down here." Percy tells the strange zombies preparing for toughest fight of his life so far.

"very well child I will have to kill you where you stand and use you to create a better guard" roars the zombie sending the zombies charging towards Percy.

Dispatching zombie 1 and 2 with a quick stab and a kick zombie 3 manages to grab him while the strange zombie tackles into him cracking the wall behind them, breaking multiple ribs. Taking some serious damage from the tackle, Percy's vision starts fading in and out of black.

Percy begins bracing himself trying to keep from passing out.

"I'm not going to die again and definitely not here!" Percy roars

Thanks to the abundance of the energy in the area and his will to live under the threat of imminent dead, he manages to break through to level 6 skipping level 5. After breaking through he instantly pulverizes zombie 3 and stares down the strange zombie, it asks "child just what are you to suddenly gain so much strength and what is this energy your putting off?"

"the last thing you will ever see" Percy responds

with a quick jab of his pole puncturing the zombies head killing it instantly. (That was a risky battle but it didn't come without some good results) thinks Percy as he flexes his body to examine the new changes to his body after the breakthroughs. (after I get home I will need to consolidate my foundations to make sure there are no future mess ups later in my cultivation) finishing his thoughts Percy prepares himself for what ever is inside the stone structure, hoping for some excellent prize for his delving into this zombie ridden cave.
