Chapter: 4: Qi Beast
After cleaning himself up and getting dressed Aaron looked up at the sun at guessed that it was probably around noon.
'Alright, time to head out. I'm sure there's something by that mountain.', with that he released 50 strings from his back and attached them to the tree branches above of him. Slowly, he lifted himself about 150 ft into the air. He didn't want to travel over the canopy or use the clouds as that would draw unwanted attention.
For him to say this while wearing such flashy and gaudy clothes would make one question his sanity. However, Aaron never thought of this he simply wanted to present himself accordingly.
'How could I present this face in tattered clothes?!'
Slowly he started moving north west towards the mountain. At first he movement was rough and jerky, as he tried to time his strings. He would use 25 strings to hold his position while using 25 more to pull himself forward; similar to using your arms on the monkey bar. After traveling for about an hour he gradually got the feel for it and started moving smoothly forward. He weaved through the trees as if the weren't there.
If one were to look up, they would see a young man about 14 with a face that made the heavens jealous, draped in gold, arms crossed casually "flying" above them at about 15-20 mph. He appeared to be an immortal taking a stroll as he moved forward effortlessly.
"System, can you tell me about the cultivation of this world?", Aaron asked. While he felt confident he wasn't a fool. If he blindly assumed himself the strongest he would probably come to regret it.

However, the strength of two people in the same realm can vary greatly. The difference in the quality of their Qi Cultivation skills as well as the resources available to them, can have a major effect on ones future possibilities.]
"How do my levels compare to there cultivation states?"
[Host can reach a max level of 20, with each level corresponding with a cultivation state. For example, Host is currently level 1 which is equivalent to Early Stage Body Tempering Realm.]
Remembering his stats from earlier, '100 lbs and 20mph' So I can probably lift that much and run that fast.', he thought.
"System, does everyone at the early stage of the boy tempering realm have the same stats as me?"
[No, as stated earlier there can be a discrepancy in power between two people at the same realm and level. Cultivation skills have 4 classifications and 4 grades, being Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Grades being low, mid, high ,and peak; Host's current stats are equivalent to a peak grade Platinum cultivation skill.]
"Haha Hell yea! So I'm basically the strongest at my level! The system in king!" Aaron laughed.
[Take not host, there are others that also possess High grade platinum skills. Also, this continent is one of bloodlines. If you are not careful you might be injured or even killed by a weaker cultivator. Some bloodlines allow for the users to possess powers that drastically increase their combat abilities.]
"Bloodlines?", just as Aaron was about to ask for more details a shadow flew towards him from the forest floor.
"What the hell?!"
He yanked himself to right, narrowly dodging the shadow then looked down and try and see what had attacked him.
"System, What is that?" he asked as he saw the creature below him.
A boar, but unlike any he had seen before. This boar was at least twice as big as any on earth and even stranger was the fact that instead of fur it had scales! Black scales! Its two tusks gleamed with a dark light as it stared at him. On its head, he saw what appeared to be another tusk growing.
[That is a Qi Beast, on this continent even animals, given enough time can cultivate]

'Shit! Level 3? Poison?! What kind of demonic boar is this?!' Aaron shouted in his head.
However before he could process the information the boar let out a squeal and shot out its middles tusk. This time it was aimed at his head!
"Dammit!" Again he tried to dodge but the speed at which it moved was even faster than the initial attack. Out of options he released the strings and fell towards the ground, narrowly avoiding being struck. Landing on the forest floor Aaron didn't even have to think before he heard another squeal.
Looking up he saw the boar about 50 ft away madly charging at him. It must have been running at least 30 mph! Aaron panicked, this was the first time he had encountered a situation like this. Jumping back he spread his fingers on his right hand and swiped at the boar with his strings.
The boar which was only 10 feet away suddenly felt a sense of crisis! It tried to stop but it was to late, before it could react it felt and impact on the left side of its face.
Sssssh!
Blood splattered, It had lost its left eye and tusk but manged to survive. This was due to Aaron panicking and inexperience, only two strings had made contact with boar the others just flew over its head.
"Reeeeeeee!!!!"
The boar was furious, how dare an ant with no Qi injure it! Seeing red it charged him again. It would kill this human today! It was only 10 ft away so it was able to reach Aaron before he could react.
'Am I going to die again? I have to dodge!' Aaron couldn't help but shout in his head,
"Sor-"
He tried to use Soru however his reaction was far to slow and before he was able to evade he felt an impact on his chest.
Bang!
The boar charged right through him. However what happened next stunned both the boar and Aaron!
There was no blood as the boar had expected. Just ice! Ice! When it slammed into the human he shattered to into fragments of ice! Aaron was just as shocked.
"....., I'm still alive" , the pain he expected hadn't come in fact he didn't even feel as if was injured at all. It was a strange feeling, then he quickly realized what had happened.
'I'm a Logia! I can't be injured by physical attack!' How could I forget!' ,excited Aaron yelled in his mind thanking his past self for choosing a logia fruit.
Slowly he started to reform himself. At first it felt awkward but the feeling only lasted for a moment before it vanished. It felt as simple as breathing! As if, it was something that he could always do! The strange thing was that his clothes also appeared to have changed to ice that could also be reformed.
The black scaled boar stared in horror!
'Whats happening! Ice? A human made of ice?! Impossible!'
However reality was cruel, right before it's eyes it saw the human it had shattered forming out of the broken ice gradually going back to normal as if nothing had happened! Angered, it was about to charge again but it suddenly felt the same ominous feeling it had before it lost its eye!
Danger! Run, it had to run! However, it soon realized it couldn't move!It struggled but it was completely immobilized.
"Reeeee!!!", it roared in anger and confusion.
"Damn Boar, you scared the shit out of me!" , Aaron cursed at the boar. If he wasn't an ice man he would have been dead. Realizing he couldn't be injured he gained some confidence, as he was forming he had made his move and attached strings from his right hand onto the boar!
Marionette!
This was the skill Doflamingo used to manipulate people as puppets. A weaker version of Parasite.
"You dare attack me without reason! What if you had injured this face?! I'll make you pay!"
Slowly Aaron manipulated the boar and had it walk towards him. The Boar was at a complete loss, it had lost control of its limbs and no matter how it resisted it couldn't stop moving towards the human! Soon enough it found itself in front of this monster.
"Don't worry. I'm not cruel, your death will be quick.", saying this he placed his hand on the boars head.
"Ice Time"
The boar had no idea what was happening but soon realized it was being frozen! It was going to be killed! It tried to resist but still had no control of it body. Its struggling was pointless as within 3 seconds it was completely frozen to the core.
Aaron was thrilled, to think he would be able to kill a Qi Beast 2 levels higher than him. He could only thank his Devil fruit abilities. Just as he was about to leave he heard a sound.

"Haha, I leveled up! Who knew being a logia would make things so easy!" Aaron was beside himself. Since he couldn't be injured he thought he had nothing to worry about. However the train of thought was derailed as soon as it appeared.
[Host, take not that while body tempering stage cultivators can do you no damage, those at core formation can begin to imbue there attacks with Qi that may bypass your elemental form. However once you reach Level 5 you'll be equivalent to a early stage Core Formation cultivators. From then on only those 3 stages or higher who imbue Qi into their attacks have enough power to cause you damage.]
"Arg~....I got too excited, but this isn't so bad. System are you saying that once I reach level 5 that anyone below level 8 wont be able to cause any physical damage even with Qi?"
[Correct, anyone not 3 levels ahead of you will not be able to cause your body damage with or without Qi. As for those stronger if they use physical attacks without Qi that attack will be bypassed, if Qi is used host will take damage]
"This is good to know"
Aaron had thought about going straight to the Black mountain but after realizing this trip might not be as simple as he believed he came to a decision.
"6 months, that should be enough time to train and get to level 5...I hope."
[Take note host, the higher you levels the more energy needed to level up. In order to meet timeline, host will have to engage with those of a higher realm]

'At least anyone level 4 and lower can not injure me. I'll just look for lower level Qi beasts', he thought before heading deeper into the forest.
