Chapter 23: Control!
Silence
For a moment it seemed as if time had froze. All of the disciples and guards could only stare at the scene in front of them.
Luke couldn't help but gasp as he looked at the young man standing in front of them.
'W-What the hell?!', he cried in his heart.
'Whats with those looks?!'
He had never seen anyone with such an appearance.
Everyone was quiet until they noticed that the young man continued to approach them. The Baron's guards seeing their brothers following behind this young man were at a lost. However before they could inquire the received an answer.
"Be careful! He has some strange ability that can manipulate people!", the captain from earlier shouted. He had no idea how he was being controlled as he couldn't sense Aaron's strings, it was as if he simply lost control of his body. When Aaron had them start following him towards the Manor all he could do was follow helplessly.
The disciples and guards who had followed were awakened after hearing this. As they looked at the scene more clearly they could see the look of terror in the guards eyes. They truly had no control over their own bodies.
"H-He doesn't have any Qi!", a disciple suddenly shouted!
"What!?", everyone exclaimed and quickly refocused their attention on Aaron.
There was no Qi coming from him!
"I-impossible! All of the guards here are at minimum mid Core Formation realm! How could someone without Qi restrain them all?!", The guard that had came with the disciples shouted. His name was Richard and he was the commander of the guards for the Manor. He was currently at the Peak of the Core Formation realm only a foot away from Earth Realm yet he couldn't understand how this young man in front of him could control some many guards at once without Qi.
At this point Aaron was already standing in front of him so he decided to see exactly what he wanted. Judging from his appearance he was obviously someone of standing.
"May I ask who this Young Master is and why you have attacked my guards?", Richard spoke.
"Don't worry none of them are injured, they were making things difficult so I figured Id have them follow me so as to clarify this misunderstanding.", Aaron replied. He really didn't want to waste to much time so he was being a bit forceful.
Richard was about to reply when Luke suddenly cut in.
"This is a Baron's estate! How dare you trespass!"
"...and who are you?", Aaron asked.
Luke and the disciples were wearing the sects standard solid blue robes for outer court disciples. On the chest one could see a circle sewn with silver thread, inside a picture of what appeared to be three waves. Aaron wasn't sure who they were but judging from their clothes he could tell they were all together and most like not the Barons people.
"We're outer court disciples of the Deep Wave Sect and have been asked by the Baron to personally detain the intruder!", Luke shouted arrogantly. Although he was also Late Core Formation realm like the guards, he thought himself superior due to the fact that he had practiced the Sects Qi skills.
How could they be compared with some guards to a Baron?

"Oh? That makes things easier, Hehehe." , Aaron began chuckling as his fingers started moving.
Inside the Manor
"Baron Morgan, now that that small issue has been resolved we should continue ou-", Elder Mao began speaking but suddenly stopped.
Seeing him become quiet all of a sudden, The Baron and other were confused however they soon understood why. Someone could be heard screaming from outside. After a moment Elder Mao's expression stiffened.
"That's Luke's voice!", Elder Mao shot up and dashed outside, Aston and his guards quickly following behind.
The Baron smiled seeing the elder flustered however he was a bit concerned.
'Just who would barge into my home without cause or warning?'
"Let's go", Baron Morgan said as he looked at his two daughter's.
They quickly followed outside only to see Elder Mao standing in place with a look of confusion. Aston and his guards were no better as they stood rooted and stared at the scene in front of them. The Baron, followed their gaze and was no better, he too had froze.
In front of him stood the most beautiful person he had ever seen. He had pitch black hair, light brown skin that seemed to glow, and brilliant golden eyes. Wearing luxurious black robes laced with gold and cloaked in a golden feather 'robe' he appeared to be an immortal descended from The Heavens.
However this wasn't the end of his shock, behind the young man all of his guards stood at attention. In front of him the nine disciples were all on their knees, terror could be seen on their face's.
"A-Aaron!", Veronica suddenly shouted. Her eyes sparking as she started at the young man in front of her. She hadn't thought she would see him so soon after he had left in secret.
"Veronica do you know him?",, Baron Morgan turned and asked. He had never seen this young man and couldn't imagine how his daughter would know him.
"Yea, he's a friend I met while hunting a Qi beast in the Emerald forest.", Veronica replied with a smile.
Aaron had also noticed Veronica and was about to speak when Aston suddenly shouted.
"Bastard! What have you done to my junior brothers and sisters!"
'Blue and white robes but similar to these guys, he should be with them', Aaron though as he stared at Aston's robes. He scanned him secretly and was quite shocked by his stats.

'Even stronger that the Blaze Leopard', Aaron secretly admired.
Aston's talent could almost rival Miara's and his bloodline was quite impressive. He turned and looked at Elder Mao and scanned him as well only to be just as shocked however for the opposite reason.

'This old man is trash! 30 years older and an entire level higher than his disciple yet his Qi is so low!', Aaron scoffed in his heart.
However what Aaron failed to realize was that the further one progressed in their cultivation the more difficult it would be to advance. Geniuses like Miara and Aston were rare and most cultivators would never even be able to step into the Earth realm before 35 if even at all. Aaron also hadn't looked into the fact that cultivator's lifespans would increase once they entered the earth realm and would allow them more than enough time to continue their training.
After scanning them he ignored them and turned to Veronica.
"I got your letter and was worried something had happened so I decided to pay a visit", he said.
"A-Aaron you..." , she began speaking but couldn't finish.
Veronica was beginning to tear up, to think Aaron would come because he was worried about her. She started blushing as she stared at him which caused her father to look in shock for a moment. However what the Baron failed to notice was that his elder daughter's eyes had never once left Aaron since she had stepped out. They were hazed over as she took in the sight in front of her unable to look away.
Aston and Elder Mao were furious! To think they would ignored!
"Bastard! Elder Mao! I'll take care of this brat!", Aston shouted.
He had never been ignored in his life! He was a genius! A future Duke! A chosen elite! How dare this brat ignore him!
Frigid light blue Qi that appeared similar to water started emitting from his body causing the surrounding air temperature to drop slowly.
"Revolving Oceans, Northern River Current!"
Aston shouted as the frigid crystal clear water around him began rotating at high speeds while heading for his right arm. He quickly punched forward at Aaron and the near sub zero water burst out! The attack shot out like a high pressure water jet and was just about to reach Aaron when something unexpected happened.
Luke suddenly jumped in front of Aaron and received the attack!
Bang! Bang!
"ARGHH!!", he shouted as his body shot back into the courtyard crashing into the ground. Ice crystals could be seen forming on the tips of his hair and fingers. His robes were ripped open and his chest was covered in a thick layer of frost.
"What are you doing?!", Aston shouted. He had put over 80% of his power into that attack there was no way Luke would be uninjured.
However before he could get his answer he was stunned to see all his junior brothers and sisters charging him weapons in hand.
"What are all of you doing?!", Elder Mao yelled. He couldn't understand why these disciples would suddenly attack Aston.
"Ahhh! Senior Brother! Elder! It's not us! This bastard is controlling us!", one female disciple shouted as she swung her sword at Aston.
"Senior brother! Watch out behind you!", the male disciple that was attacking from behind warned. Although he couldn't control his body he could still speak freely.
The female disciple and the male disciple had attacked at the same time giving Aston little time to react. He quickly jumped up and avoided both of their attacks and quickly moved away.
"What have you done to them?!", he shouted as he glared at Aaron.
"Hehehehe, to think you would possess Ice attribute Qi", Aaron said after noticing Aston's attack. He didn't answer as he begun moving his fingers again, a smile on his face. He had already figured these guys had no affiliation with Veronica and had no qualms in attacking them.
Once again all the disciples begun attacking Aston!
"Argh! Bastard, I'll Kill you!" Aston shouted as he evaded the attacks.
The Baron, Amber, and guards were shocked stupid as they looked at what was happening. To think this young man was so powerful!
"V-Veronica, what sort of ability is this?!", The Baron asked. He could clearly see that Aaron possessed no Qi and yet was able to completely control the situation. Since his daughter appeared to know him maybe he could glean something from her.
"This is Aaron's Bloodline ability, I'm not exactly sure how it works but it allows him to control others as if they were puppets. B-But Although we thought he might be at the Earth realm w-", she begun speaking only to be grabbed by her father before she could finish.
"Did you just say Earth Realm?! No! Impossible! He's far to young!", The Baron said while staring at his daughter in disbelief. He himself was only at Mid-Earth Realm same as Elder Mao, yet his daughter was telling him that this young man who appeared no older than 15 was also at the Earth realm!
However before he could get his answer he heard Elder Mao shouting.
"Aston you take care of your junior brothers and sisters. I'll take care of this brat!", he screamed as he began circulating his Qi and activated his movement technique.
"Ocean Strider!"
Deep blue water quickly circulated around his feet, the moment he took his first step it was as if a dam had broke!
Bang!
He shot towards Aaron at almost the blink of an eye, the high pressure water under his feet propelling him forward with every step!
"Little Bastard! How dare you attack my Sect's disciples!", Elder Mao shouted as he extended his right hand.
"Revolving Oceans, Crashing Waves Palm!"
Aaron watched closely as Elder Mao's palm suddenly began glowing with the same deep blue color from before.
'So this is a cultivator! It's my first time actually fighting a human with such a high cultivation. It's a shame he's to weak.', He groaned.
Since coming to this world the strongest creatures he fought were always Qi beast he had never witnessed true Qi techniques. Aaron once again wiggled his fingers just as Elder Mao's attack was about to reach.
"Die!", Elder Mao shouted.
A cruel grin appeared on his face as he thought of how Aaron would end up after receiving his attack. Reality however wasn't so kind, just as his attack was about to reach Aaron, his body jerked violently as he came to a sudden and complete stop!
"W-What?!", Elder Mao exclaimed. His palm was only 3 to 5 inches away from Aaron yet he couldn't move a single muscle!
"He stopped Elder Mao! He's at the Mid-Earth Realm!" ,The Baron's guards shouted. They couldn't believe all the surprises this young man had brought them. They began to feel lucky that Aaron had no animosity towards them.
Amber's eyes begun glowing as she stared at the nonchalant young man. His power was to overbearing! To think that an Earth realm cultivator could so easily be stopped! Even Veronica was shocked, she had known Aaron was powerful but now she began to believe that they truly had been underestimating him.
"What sort of technique is this! Arghh!!!"Elder Mao struggled
"Deep Sea Burst!" he suddenly shouted.
Blue Qi suddenly erupted from his body blasting straight towards The Heavens! It was as if a geyser had erupted! After a moment water started to rain back down however it was of no use, Aaron's strings couldn't be even detected by him let alone be cut. He had no chance of escape.
"Elder!", Aston who had knocked out all of the disciples suddenly ran over and shouted.
"Who are you?!", he yelled at Aaron.
He had never seen this young man before yet he had been able to defeat all the disciples as well as restraining Elder Mao. He couldn't be some unknown person.
"Aaron Heart, but that's of no matter to you", Aaron responded casually.
"Little Bastard! I am a Outer Court Elder of the Deep Wave Sect! If you dare injure me or my disciples you'll pay with your life!", Elder Mao glared at Aaron as he shouted.
He was beyond angry! He had been humiliated by a brat no older than 15! He an Elder and a mid-Earth Realm cultivator couldn't even put up a fight! He had no idea who Aaron was and how he could be so powerful but he felt that even he wouldn't dare go any further! That was because behind him was the massive Deep Wave Sect which even the Kingdom had to respect.
"Deep Wave Sect? Never heard of em'.", Aaron said
"Also, I don't particularity like being threatened for no reason and you seem to have made problems for my friend, so you'll have to pay.", Aaron coldly said and gently flicked his index finger. He had noticed that Veronica hadn't uttered a word and had in fact been smiling the whole time. This had confirmed his suspicions.
Fwssh!
"ARGGHHHH!!!!! My Arm!!!!", Elder Mao suddenly shouted in pain.
His right arm had been cleanly cut off!
"What happened! How did he attack?!", The guards yelled as they watched in horror. Aaron's powers were beyond their understanding. There were no warning or fluctuations in Qi!
Baron Morgan's mouth had basically fallen to his chest at this point. Elder Mao and him were at the same level! Does that mean he also wouldn't be able to even fight back against this young man?
"Bastard!!! I'll kill you and your whole family!!! I'll have the entire sect after you!!!!"
Elder Mao had lost all reason once he lost his arm. The pain as well as knowing that he would need extremely rare and precious medicines to heal himself drove him mad. He had been able to stop the bleeding with his Qi but he was losing energy fast.
"You dare?!?!?!", Aston suddenly shouted as he dashed towards Aaron!
His body began shining with a deep blue and silver light! On his arms and face blue horizontal lines began appearing as his body took a silver hue. He extended his right arm and aimed his index finger at Aaron!
"Marlin's Silver Spear!!!"
"Watch out! He's using his Bloodline's ability!", Veronica shouted in horror.
His finger suddenly burst with light as a bright silver spear appeared and shot towards at Aaron at unbelievable speed! It was as a star was streaking across the sky it moved to fast!
"DIE!!!!!"
