14 013 - You Want To Rob Me?
Lei Ao exited the achievements hall, unaware of a few figures following him. He continued deeper into the camp.
Just before heading to the canteen, he decided to check something else. What would a few moments extra do?
He was heading towards the Mission Hall, where he would go a see the available assignments.
Lei Ao held little trust in this sect, he had come here and was forcefully assigned a mission he didn't want to participate in.
Now, he would try to tackle his destiny.
Lei Ao strode towards the Mission Hall, he was confident, he knew he had some strength now.
He was no longer weak and easily bullied.
His aura fortified his confidence and demeanour.
Undisturbed, he approached the Mission Hall.
The Hall was again simply made and designed to serve its purpose. The sect didn't have the time and resources to build grandiose buildings in a temporary camp.
Lei Ao entered the building.
Truthfully, he came here for two purposes; one was to check out the available missions and the other to gain information about the sect and its surroundings.
He did not like to admit that his past self as a farmer knew next to nothing about this world, much less anything about the surrounding powers and lands.

What greeted him inside was something similar to the achievements hall, but instead of all the furniture, what lay there was a board containing a fair amount of missions.
A trace of surprise flashed across his face. Lei Ao noticed the Mission Hall was full of people, a complete opposite of what it was outside the building.
Contrary to what it would seem, the entire building was deathly silent
As Lei Ao entered the building, a wave of people began to look over in his direction.
Lei Ao ignored these stares and walked towards the board.
He stared at its contents:
[Missions]:
[Investigate the canyon South-West of the camp, multiple sightings of enemy movements were found][Reward]: 5 Silver coins
[Defend the camp from any potential threat, further information given by the dispatcher][Reward]: 8 Bronze coins
[Join the frontal assault team and participate in the next skirmish with the Dark Moon Empire][Reward]: 1 Silver and 5 Bronze coins
[Work at the mines, head to the mines located West of the camp for further information]
etc....
A plethora of missions was laid bare in front of Lei Ao. Missions ranging from; simple collection missions, to scouting, to engaging in a frontal assault against the Empire.
Before deciding on what he wanted to do, Lei Ao had to get information.
That's right! Without any information, why would he sign himself to something that could potentially end his life? It was just not logical.
Lei Ao approached a group of people.
Sensing his approach the group looked at him warily, they looked at Lei Ao where a fake smile was plastered on his face.
The group begin to move backwards, trying to avoid any unnecessary trouble. They could sense the residual killing intent oozing out from Lei Ao.
Seeing this Lei Ao takes out a Silver coin from his pouch. "No need to be wary, I only want to talk for a bit.", Lei Ao smiles.
A flash of greed appeared on the group's faces, they lowered their guards and put up amicable smiles.
"What would Sir want?", one of the group's men rubs his hands and approaches Lei Ao.
"Nothing much, I just want to know a few things.", an innocent expression flashes on Lei Ao face.
"Hahaha, you can ask us anything you want!", the man laughs his eyes focusing on the coin.
His loud laughter attracting the attention of a few people in the Mission Hall. They begin to eavesdrop on the conversation.
Lei Ao smiles, "I just want to know a few things, I'm not from around here."
He asks about information ranging from the governing power, to what region they are in, the average power level of the region etc...
It turns out the Everlasting Sect was located in the western region of the Xue Continent, belonging to the Xiao Bi region, which according to the group, was a small region.
Lei Ao also learned that the strongest person in this region was said to be at the Qi Gathering Realm. Lei Ao was greeted with fanatic faces as they said this.
Content with the information, Lei Ao throws the coin at one of the group's men and backs away.
He knew what he wanted to do now. He headed to the counter and stated he wanted to take on the investigation mission, scouting the canyon South-West from here.
With a new goal in mind, Lei Ao leaves the Missions Hall, but not without a few eyes keeping track of him.
Lei Ao begins to walk towards the canteen, where he could finally eat his fill after not eating for a day.
On the way Lei Ao appeared to be relaxed, not caring about his surroundings.
Unwantonly, Lei Ao managed to walk himself to an alley.
Lei Ao stops, turns around, "You can stop hiding now. I saw you tailing me after I left the Mission Hall."
After Lei Ao said this, over 10 people could be seen exiting the shadows.
After seeing the bunch, Lei Ao killing intent begins to spread.
"Hand over your belongings kid, we don't want to make this hard for you!"
"That's right, just give us your stuff and we'll leave you alone."
Lei Ao activated the 'Seven Fists of the Tiger'.
A crazed smile rose on his lips.
"You want to rob me?"
