8 Apples in the Cultivation World.

And here we go again! Another adventurous walk in the Thunder Blade Cultivation Sect!

(Wasn't it Thunder Sword Sect?)

As I said, Thunder Sword Sect!

With limited communication skills and no escort by his side, Guin struggles through the countless paths in the sect mountain, making little progress in his quest to go back home.

("Little progress"? You are being too kind! This guy is completely lost! Look! Its already the third time he passes there and chooses exactly the same route!)

While God laughs at Guin's unsuccessful attempts, Guin started thinking this sect was full of protective arrays that were making him lose his way time and time again. After another hour of walking in circles, Guin decides to stop following the path and simply pass through the woods to try his luck.

The forest grows denser at every step. Guin doesn't give up and keeps pushing through. Having no equipment, all he can do is use his arms and legs to push the vegetation to the sides while trying to advance. Luckily his fight against the nature does not last too long. After passing through the green barrier made by every kind of different plants, his field of view suddenly open up allowing him to see all that lies beyond that vegetation.

(You mean, the cliff?)

Yes, including the cliff where he would fall if he continued walking for half a step. He can also see the right path he would need to take to reach his house, the way to the training ground, the farms where herbs and plants are being cultivated, the 3 rivers that cross the mountain, the temples where the-

(Can you speed it up a little? I don't have all day!...wait, maybe I do...)

Anyway, he can see all faculties of the sect located on that side of the mountain that are below him.

"Woooooow!!!! Such incredible view! If I was a painter, this would be a great spot...I see, so that's the way back home! And that's how I get to the training grounds. I wish I had some paper and pencil to draw a map...well, this is good enough for today, let's go back and take the right path."

(Now is the time he slips and falls on the cliff?)

Walking back proves to be a lot easier than braving the jungle, in less than half the time he took to reach the cliff, he was able to walk back to the path and take the correct way home.

(What!? So he didn't fall!? Damn! Such a waste...I thought I could finally see a flying pig...)

On the way back, Guin noticed a lot of farms that he didn't notice on his way up, mainly because he was looking down while feeling frustrated. His belly seems to also have noticed and started protesting for food as if it had eaten nothing all day...well, it really hadn't.

As Guin approached the farms, he saw a big Apple tree right by the side of the road. He looked right and left, checking if anyone was looking, and as he confirmed no one watching, he jumped and took one of the juicy fruits.

"One down! Next!!"

Another jump, another fruit.

"Great! But it seems like there is a problem..."

There was no place to store them. The thought of using his leather robes, but it was a single piece, and he felt embarrassed to walk around half naked. Then he noticed his old shirt which he even forgot it was hung on his shoulders...

"Yes, this will do!"

After improvising a cloth sack with his old shirt, Guin started to store all Apples he could catch, filling the sack in just a few of minutes. Wasting no more time, Guin resumed his walk while his stomach urged him to hurry.

(If he was so hungry, why didn't he just eat it as he catch it??)

As soon as Guin reached home, he went to the water vase and started washing each fruit he got. Actually Guin had a traumatic experience eating raw fruits on his gramps farm when he was still a kid, due to that he swore to never eat unwashed fruits again, no matter how hungry he was.

With all fruits washed and nothing stopping him, Guin grabbed the closest Apple and took a huge bite. As he chewed a few times, an odd luck appeared on his face.

"This..."

(What? Was there a bug?)

Guin took another bite.

"...really..."

(Come on! Say it! Don't leave me hanging...)

Guin gulped the last piece of the Apple and said with a happy face.

"Tastes like Banana!!!"

(...)

Yes, the "apples" he got weren't the same apples found on Earth, instead they were called Hundred Years Old Banapple and, like Guin said, they tasted just like Earth's bananas.

(Damn, no fun!)
