23 Talk With The System

When Ben overheard that voice he shocked to see himself standing in a seperate space different from the room he was in. He looked around his surroundings and noticed that he was in a very thick jungle which surprisingly gave off a Divine aura. Only when he finished checking out did he notice a man with a body which is neither buffy nor ripped which can only be described with the word 'perfect'. He could see that he was in a garb which covered his body in a loose robes. It's just that when he tried to look at the man's face, he knew he was seeing the man, but he could also feel that there was a kind of magic which disrupted his thoughts on perceiving his face.

'This won't do. I will have to use that in order to 'see' him clearly'.

Thinking, Ben tried out his new ability which he got use after the breakthrough to the foundation realm and condensing his liquid qi. He revolved the liquid qi inside amd then a domain of about 500m was created d which could not be seen but only be felt. This was nothing but the 'Divine Sense'. Because the three lords of the factions have arrived Ben didn't have any time to test his divine sense and could not use it on the faction leaders unless he wants to offend them. He would not have used it now if not for his curiosity taking over. Using divine sense the man present infront of him, he could 'see' that the man possessed deep blue eyes, thick sliver blonde hair and chiseled facial features. In any sense you look at him, the only word you can think of is 'flawless'.

As if feeling that something was able to bypass the magic he was caring to jam the senses, the man frowned a little and then immediately blocked Ben's divine sense. But Ben had already seen him. So, he cast another magic to blur the image in Ben's mind. Ben didn't mind that and let it be since he had already seen the true facial features once.

*You truly are peculiar. You could even use some peculiar sensing method that does not use any particular energy system of this world.*

"I apologise for using it on you without your permission. It's just my curiosity getting the better of me".

*It's fine. But just don't let anyone find it out.*

"I will take care then. If it's not preposterous, I would like to ask whether are you the system's artifact spirit or the God's lingering piece of soul?"

*Oh! So you know the concept of artifact spirit. You can say that I am a part of God's soul which was refined into the system which inturn also makes me the spirit of the system. So you can call me either and di don't mind.*

"Then I shall call you system. So, now my question would be, why was I summoned here and I don't think it's for a tea time chat".

*Quiet a heisty aren't you? Well it bothers me not. I did indeed call you here for something else other than chatting. I would like to know who are you and don't bother lying to me since I can detect that perfectly here. You can ask little Draig if you want.*

Hearing the system saying 'little Draig', his mouth couldn't help but twitch.

'Only the God can call him like that I guess.'

DON'T JUST SAY WHATEVER YOU WISH SYSTEM. I ATKEAT WANT TO MAINTAIN MY DIGNITY IN FRONT OF MY HOST AS A HEAVENLY DRAGON. AND BEN THE SYSTEM CAN INDEED DETECT THE LIES. TYE PLACE WE ARE IN IS THE SUBCONSCIOUS SPACE OF THE SYSTEM WITH REGARDS TO THE IMAGE OF TGE SYSTEM PERCIVED. BECAUSE YOU PERCIVED THE SYSTEM AS A DIVINE TREE, TGE SUBCONSCIOUS SAPCE OF IT IS A JUNGLE EXUDING DIVINE AURA FOR YOU. SO, ANYTHING IT BELIVES WRONG, WILL BE DETECTED IN THIS SPACE.

Hearing from Draig, Ben thought for a while and came clean towards the system. He showed all of his memory to the system that he showed to Draig years earlier.

The system just closed his eyes and then read through all the memory of Ben and stood there for a while. Later he opened his eyes and shook his head with a tired sigh escaping from his mouth and disbelieving expression on his face.

*I must really agree with Draig that your universe's writer are of profound insight. There were a few parts which were modified but the overall content is same regarding this universe to point of whom I was going to going to bestow the boosted gear. Still I wonder who that entity was?*

" Is he not some higher being in this world similar to Ophis and Great Red?"

*No child. While God was alive, all the higher this world had, he had known about them. After the God died, though I could not meet them, whenever a new or some of the beings whom God didn't know appeared, it gets registered in my mainbody's memory base. If there was really someone that powerful, according to the book in your memory, the appearance of 666would not have taken that many superior beings themselves to be sealed in a sealed space to battle it.*

Ben was outright shocked. He always felt that the being who gave him this chance was connected to this world in someway and thought it who was just secluded form the happenings of the world. But, it's not the case it seems.

"Well I ask of you to not let anyone know about me".

*Don't worry. Not anyone can enter this seventh heaven and no one can read my memory base and I vow to not leak the matter. But inturn I would like your help in the time of emergency.*

*You need not mention that. Right now, I am also a part of this world and even I have people I want to protect".

Hearing that the system was happy and showed a kind smile and talked about its motive.

*Well the reason I summoned is not just to ask about you, the entity also forced me into giving you something that said it can make you stronger and also help with the oncoming danger. Just calm your mind and accept what I am giving you.*

Ben did what he was asked to and then felt some soothing and soft energy flow into his body and cleanse his interior and repair his hidden injuries and physical stress, which felt like a massage by a pro masssuer greatly relaxing his muscles. Then he noticed that the energy was similar to the holy power and it started getting collected in his Dantian after circulating in his body throught the specified route of the manual changing from the gaseous form to a liquid form and a bit distance from the liquid qi and ldp, it also started forming a settlement which was times bigger than that of the other two. Ben first shcoked since he wanted to join the devil side but was now being filled up by holy power. He just sighed and resigned himself to his fate.

'Whatever, I will just let fate guide me'.

While all this was happening, all Micheal, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel who came in after Ben started contacting with the system, saw that Ben standing there for a about three hours, eyes closed and giving of the felling of as if his power was increasing.

They stared at him for a few more hours and thought that something went wrong with Ben which gave them a headache thinking of the consequences since Ben already decided to join the faction of Sirzechs Lucifer's little sister and who in the three factions' upper echelon don't know that Sirzechs is a sis-con. Only when Ben opened his eyes and started stretching, could they breath a sigh of relief.

Ben just opened his eyes nad stretched himself only to see the four Archangels feeling relieved.

'Are they feeling relieved about something?'

He felt perplexed. But when he thought about all the talk and the power he got from the system he felt a massive headache coming over and found himself  reeling in his thoughts a loud shout woke him up.

"BEN!"
