2 Rebirth and Awakening

After what felt like an eternity, I struggled to open my eyes and noticed that I couldn't.

"Where this place?"

That was when I saw few text written in a language appearing in my sight though I had none, which I didn't recognize as any of the earthen languages which I could recognize at the very least due to my research all around the world for a cultivation manual. Though I could not recognize, read or speak that particular language, it felt like a primal Instinct same as that of seeing, breathing and thinking. I could understand the text and it said,

" THOUGH WHAT THE PRIEST TOLD WAS NOT ENTIRELY WRONG, I CAN FEEL YOUR DETERMINATION WITHIN YOU AND ALSO ASPIRATION. SO, I GAVE YOU THE CHANCE TO FULFILL YOUR DREAM. DO TAKE NOTE THAT YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY LIKE THIS, BUT, YOU WILL BE THE ONLY ONE IN THIS PARTICULAR UNIVERSE AND I HAVE SENT YOU TO ONE OF MY FAVORITE UNIVERSES WHICH YOU KNOW OF IT IN YOUR PREVIOUS LIFE IN A 'LN' . AND ALSO I AM NOT A GOD. I WILL COMMUNICATE WITH YOU WHEN IT IS DEEMED NECESSARY."

"Though it was mind booking for a few minutes, it was clearly said that I crossed over and according to the place where I am which feels warm and also a lot of viscous liquid, it should be in my mother's womb".

Thinking of such, his thoughts drifted what kind of what kind of universe he was sent to, he started feeling excited because all the 'LN' which could help fulfill his dream were exciting ones and also the shortlisting process was easy after a few tries. Though he immediately wanted to try, he felt tired and fell asleep. After a period of time passed, he was conscious once again and checked his body.

" Even though I did get any good results in my past life, the thing which practiced hard and also became helpful now is my inner eye. Let's see, Oh! as expected of a reincarnated soul, mine is a bit brighter than the one which I had in my past life or simply it is case for the souls in this universe. Well let's not dwell on those things, it seems like something is attached to my soul".

Though he could feel it he immediately could not grasp what was that.

After a lot of fiddling and trying, he could see a beast which looked like a western dragon from myths, full of blazing red scales which looked beautiful, domineering and imposing like an emperor. He felt like a common mortal (though he is one ;-) ) looking at an Emperor to be revered which was contained in a RED GAUNTLET with a GREEN core. It took time to come back to his senses.

" It is really a dragon and from looks of it and if my memory is not wrong it should DRAIG, THE WELSH DRAGON though he seems to be a asleep, it seems the suspense regarding the universe is cleared and i seems that i am in the DXD universe and also the possessor of one of the thirteen sacred gear longinus BOOSTED GEAR. I should probably have a talk with hi regarding my past and also the future.Though first lets check whether I can circulate the primordial XIANTIAN qi in my body."

"According to the manual, there will be a certain amount of XIANTIAN qi in everyone's body passed down from mother to child whether she cultivates or not and it lasts only three years after the birth."

So, Ben started using his inner eye and started searching for the XIANTIAN qi with which he could skip the sensing of qi step and cultivate the strand of qi and officially start with the Qi gathering stage. He tried for a long time and later got the strand of qi and started to will it to move in given paths. At first when he trying to control the qi strand, he tried sensing the aura and as expected, it has a slight hint of dragon aura in it due to the sacred gear and it was hard to will it move in the right path and got exhausted very quickly. So, for Ben it became a cat and mouse chase and was quiet difficult for it to atleast get it into right path and later started to move it in correct paths.

this continued for a quiet a while and during that time as his control on the qi got better and better, there was a slight response from DRAIG and one fine day he felt a strange feeling and suddenly he pulled into a place where it was fully enveloped and filled by molten magma and blazing flames. He tried making sense of the situation and suddenly, there was a booming voice which was coming towards him saying,

IT SEEMS MY NEW PARTNER IS A LITTLE BABY WHO HAS NOT EVEN KNOWN HOW TO SPEAK.
