9 Intimidation and Powerlessness

' I guess even the lightning priests who was a famous mid tire devil in the underworld also had her shares of problems aside from her mother step. Well I can't let a girl being that disappointed and one of my favorite's too '.

" Oh! Though it cannot be considered as much as you going out Wings even I have a few abnormalities. My parents mentioned that do during my birth though I looked normal, I weighed at least twice more than a normal child would. Guess if it could make you comfortable, you could also consider that as an abnormality and also me as a monster. Because of that physical abnormality of mine, I couldn't even walk for one and half year after my birth it seems and I've only learned how to talk an year before and in fact I like the colour black and if you don't mind I would also like to see your wings ".

" I guess it is not a much of an abnormality as much as mine but still thank you for treating me the same and also and trusting me with your secret if you want to see my Wings and let's go to a secluded so that I can show you. But still are you ok with me being a half human and half fallen angel and no it might be weird coming from my mouth, you could consider me a monster in some ways and it might also disrupt your childhood by playing with me so I still ask you to conserve one more time ".

" Whatwhat are you still talking about I have already started considering you asmy friend and you also are quite beautiful if I say so. So, don't bother about me having a bad childhood because of you being my friend and I really would like to take a look at your wings so let's go quickly ".

They started going towards the bushes which good cover them easily and Akeno started removing her top part of the body by turning her back towards him. Seeing the budding wings which were around the size of an adult's palm, Ben couldn't control his excitement and started caressing them. Due to the sudden unexpected touch on her wings Akeno sounded surprised.

" Aaaah.….....! "

Ben immediately retract his hand and started apologizing to Akeno when suddenly there came a pressure sensing which Ben felt like he was going to be crushed to the ground by a huge pagoda spotted a bit of blood.

" Kuh.... gah "

Akeno seeing this immediately started looking around and found a huge Man of the size of a bear with two black wings glistening and shining by refracting the light falling on them he was serious and also a bit possessiveness could be seen on his face.

" Akeno what are you doing you should not show your bare back to any other men accept me ok understood now get back home ".

" Papa what are you doing? This is my first friend I have made in the while and you started frightening him off. If he doesn't come and play with me later then I will not speak to you any longer. Hmph ".

" oh my baby daughter I am very sorry. Hey there young man are you ok? You did not suffer any grevious wounds right? By the way I am Barquiel. I am Akeno's father and please take care of my daughter. I did not expect you to be her friend and thought of something else. Please don't mind what happened previously ".

" Enough papa I'll take care of my friend. Are you ok Ben? I am sorry for what my father did it to you please don't take it to heart. Though he looks rough and serious outside he is quites soft inside and goodbye for now will meet tomorrow ".

" Nah don't worry I am not injured. We will meet tomorrow then bye ".

Seeing that Ben was but injured Akeno looked at him one last time and started walking towards her home. Barquiel seeing this made sure that her daughter was out of range and turned towards Ben.

" Boy I thank you for being a friend of Akeno. Because of budding of her wings, she has been going through a difficult phase in her life.

If anything happens out of normal that makes my baby girl cry and if I found out that the cause of her suffering is you I will make sure to put you through a suffering that would be 100 times more than what she suffered ok don't take this words as a joke this is me being serious ".

" Papa what are you still doing over there. If we don't go by the time of dinner, mom will be displeased and there might be trouble for you later ".

Hearing that Barquiel responded and left the area without even glancing towards the kneeling boy.

Saying that Barquiel took off. Ben seeing that Barquiel took off, shook his head and sighed. due to sudden outburst of Barquiel previously, he went to his knees and couldn't even move his finger. He tried circulating his Qi, but that didn't reduce the pressure felt even slightly. Regretting his powerlessness, he started hitting the ground so hard that it started denting. He felt him being powerless.
