10 Boosted Gear

Later when Ben returned home, he told his encounter with Akeno (of course he didn't mention about Barquiel) and they felt happy for him to have made a friend on his first day. After completing his dinner, he immediately started calming his mind down and meditated for a while. When he thought that he was ready, he started communicating with Draig.

"Hey Draig, I am ready to awaken my sacred gear ".

OKAY. THEN PUT YOUR LEFT HAND AND THINK OF SOMETHING WHICH MAKES YOU FEEL STRONG AND STRIKE THAT POSE.

Ben thinks of a teenager wearing gloves and with a blue gem on the back side of his palm outlined with silver and showing the Roman symbol "X" stretching out his hands, one towards the front and another facing symmetrically opposite to the other and shouted out loudly.

"X Burner".

Suddenly, a green light shone on the back of the palm of Ben's left hand. Them a red light covered his hand and materialised itself as a red gauntlet with a green park embedded in the back if his palm. The gauntlet was like a piece of the set of a medieval age armor. It covered his fingers and almost all the length of his arm and also another green hidden between the armor pieces of the gauntlet. The gauntlet had two golden long spikes coming out from both side towards from it's bottom and two short spikes protruding on the arm piece of the gauntlet. This deeply resembled the initual form rather than it's base form. Seeing this Ben was happy and also puzzled.

" Hey Draig, isn't the busted GEAR in the intrusion form? I thought it would be in is base firm instead ".

INDEED IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN IT'S BASE FORM BUT DUE YOU POSSESSING THE REQUIRED AMOUNT OF ENERGY. BE IT EITHER OF DEMONIC, HOLY, MAGIC, QI OR WHATEVER KIND OF ENERGY POSSIBLE. ALSO THE IMPORTANT FACTOR IS THAT THE CRAVING FOR POWER YOU FELT WHEN SUPPRESSED BY BARQUIEL. REMEMBER THAT A SACRED ALWAYS RESPOND TO THE FEELING OF IT'S USER.

" Yeah I guess is shouldn't be surprised either. So, can you explain me all the powers I can supposedly use now? "

WELL YOU BASICALLY HAVE THE MAIN POWER ' BOOST ' AND IF YOU TRAIN ENOUGH IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO AWAKEN THE BOOSTED GIFT FORM ALSO CALLED THE POWER OF 'GIFT'. YOU CAN ALSO THE DRAGON BASED MAGIC. IN MY CASE FIRED DRAGON MAGIC.IF ACCUMULATE ENOUGH STACKS OF BOOST BEFORE YOU OPEN THE GATE, TO YOUR LIMIT, IT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL IN THE CRITICAL TIME.

" Yes, thank you and I intended to do the same. Hey Draig, I get a question for you. It is okay for me that I have the qi, so I can utilize atleast some kind of energy. But what about a normal human when he awakens the boosted gear? "

THEN THE AWAKEN HUMAN WILL HAVE THE DRAGON ENERGY FLOWING IN HIM. YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE THAT ENERGY FLOWING IN YOU NOW THAT YOU HAVE AWAKENED THE BOOSTED HEAR. I THOUGHT YOU HAVE ALREADY NOTICED THAT. BUT IT SEEMS IT'S NOT CASE HERE. GREAT OBSERVATION FOR A REINCARNATOR. HMPH.

" Well sorry for that, I was just engrossed in checking out my heart and forgot about it ".

Immediately Ben sat in the lotus position and checked inside his body. He saw that aside of the Xiantian qi, there was also the dragon energy flowing inside his body. He tried willing the dragon energy and tried moving in the direction of his Dantian. It was surprisingly more docile than the Xiantian qi and also more easy to control. He directed all the dragon energy and collected that in his Dantian. Now he had two types of energy in his Dantian, one a pure white Xiantian qi and another red dragon energy. But he was immediately stuck in a dilemma, whether to first cultivate a his dragon energy or his qi. Later after thinking a while he got the idea to cultivate both his energies at the same time by winding one over another firming a drill shape. Which will also at same time compress to it's maximum extent, improve his control and build his reserves. So, he immediately got hooked on to the idea and started trying it. Though it was difficult at first, he succeeded in intertwining the two types of energies and also found that the intertwined engeries could be in automatic motion similar to the xiantian qi previously. There was also a peculiar sight of slight orange tint at the junction of the energies. Thinking that he could actually combine them, he tried it, but to his bad luck, it was not possible. But due the orange tint he knew the possibility existed, so he didn't lose heart.

" I will try later when my comprehension of the energies is better. But first I have to open the gate. So I have first open one of the 'eight major meridians' connecting to the particular gate ".

FOR THAT I HAVE A BRILLIANT IDEA, AFTER YOU OPEN TGAT MERIDIAN, YOU CAN FIRST INJECT A LITTLE AMOUNT OF QI AND USE THE GIFT OF TRANSFER ON THE ENERGY ITSELF INSIDE THE MERIDIAN TO ENLARGE IT THOUGH IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE PAINFUL, IT WILL BE WORTH THE TROUBLE. DO, I FIRST SUGGEST YOU TO TRAIN THE BODY UNTIL IT REACHES A SATISFYING LEVEL TO ENDURE THE PAIN. IF YOU DO THAT NOW, THERE IS A HIGH POSSIBILITY THAT IT MAY LEAVE HIDDEN DANGERS IN YOUR BODY.

" The idea seems workable. Thanks by the way. But, I don't want to train my body right now either. My body is under natural growth and I don't want any abnormal situations either. So, I have to wait two more years I guess. It's better this way though, I can first accumulate enough energy for the breakthrough and then open my gates ".

HMM SEEMS LOGICAL. SO NOW YOU HAVE ANOTHER TASK OTHER THAN CULTIVATING, THAT IS TO UPGRADE YOUR GEAR TO THE LEVEL WHERE YOU GIFT THE POWER AS EASY AS POSSIBLE.

" Yeah, I should do that. I guess I have a lot on my plate than what I thought. It also seems that this the place of Akeno's birth. I have to atleast be strong enough to fend off the people who killed Akeno's mom. That is one of the things I didn't like in my previous life ".
