Golden Turtle Cultivation Technique

In the shophouse, Jun leaned back on his chair like a retired old man and munched on a watermelon peacefully.

[Customer Ding Xue has reached the 1st level of talisman crafting]

[Host has been rewarded with "Golden Turtle Cultivation Technique"]

Jun opened his eyes slowly when he heard the notification.

"I can get rewards after my customers achieve something too?" Jun asked the system.

[Host can receive rewards from the system after a certain customer achieves something major.]

"What a nice system." Jun smiled at the system with joy and looked at the book that had materialized before him.

[Do you want to learn the "Golden Turtle Cultivation Technique"? ]

"Yes!" A ray of golden light shone inside his mind, followed by a bunch of unfamiliar memories that were related to the "Golden Turtle Cultivation Technique".

He breathed heavily with a relaxed expression and tried to stimulate his Qi energy while using the [Golden Turtle Cultivation Technique] as a basis.

A warm current ran through his body, and his Qi started to transform from colorless to a golden hue.

[Golden Turtle Cultivation Technique (Earth grade low-level): This technique is derived from the ancient beast Golden Turtle. It can stimulate the Qi energy, transforming it into Golden Qi, which is three times stronger. When cultivated to a small attainment, this technique can allow the user to increase their defense by five times. The current version is only the first part of the complete technique.]

Although Jun's previous host had also cultivated Earth-grade techniques before, Jun's memory of these techniques was too hazy to recall anything.

"As expected from the rewards given by the system. Although this technique won't increase the speed of cultivation, I will be able to fight those who are above my level with ease with this technique later on when I achieve small mastery." Jun clenched his fists, and a golden energy enveloped his fist.

With a punch, all the fallen leaves on the floor were scattered in different directions due to the shockwave.

"Shop Owner Jun!" Ding Xue exclaimed out loud as he hurriedly entered the shop. He called Jun, the shop owner after Jun had ordered him to do so.

"Why are you always in a hurry?"

"Forgive me, I had to notify you in a hurry this time." Ding Xue apologized politely.

"What happened?" Jun asked with raised brows.

"This batch of sect disciples has just arrived at the port. Manager Cheng and other big shots have already gone there to welcome them," Ding Xue explained while panting heavily, due to being tired.

"Already?" Jun immediately fixed his clothes and left the shophouse to arrive at the city.

After a while, Jun arrived at the port of Golden Moon Island.

As myriad grand and extravagant ships docked near the harbor, the air buzzed with anticipation. Each vessel bore unique crests, representing the top sects that had sent their disciples to explore the mysterious Spirit Moon Cave on Golden Moon Island.

With a sense of purpose, the disciples descended from the ships, carrying an air of dignified determination.

The island's residents couldn't help but gossip among themselves, their whispers blending with the rhythmic lapping of the waves.

"Look! It's the disciples of Sword Nurturing Sect." Someone said aloud.

Another group of disciples started to descend from the ship. These disciples were the most eye-catching among the group. They all carried a sword on their backs with indifferent expressions. However, what caught others' attention was not their swords, but the aura around them – the sharp aura of a sword cultivator.

Following behind them were disciples from Beast Whisper Sect and Nine Yin Palace.

Among the disciples from these two sects, two were the most eye-catching.

One was a young man with white hair, a small snake wrapped around his arm, while the other was a young girl with the same white hair and a white bird resting on her shoulder.

"Those two are apparently from a powerful clan from the Immortal World and have descended this time for temperament training in the Beast Whisper Sect," a young cultivator explained.

Powerful cultivation families or sects from the Immortal World would usually send their disciples to the mortal world for some time to train their temperament. If they were to rule over the clan or sect one day without proper experience, then they themselves would become the reason for their end. Hence, this training was absolutely necessary.

Jun and Ding Xue were watching the scene unfold when a voice suddenly came from behind them, catching their attention.

"Shop Owner Jun." It was Shop Owner Cheng.

"Greetings, Shop Owner Cheng. Are you going to welcome these disciples with your brother today?" Jun politely asked.

"How can I, a nobody, welcome these prodigies from those sects? I am just here to enjoy the show," he replied calmly.

"I see. Is there no chance to meet them later on?" Jun asked with a tinge of disappointment in his voice.

"It looks like Shop Owner Jun really wants to meet with these disciples. If that's the case, I can ask my brother to give you an invitation to the welcoming banquet that's going to be held later on."

"Banquet?" Jun pondered for a while. If he went to the banquet and unknowingly attracted unwanted attention, that would be like seeking trouble.

Jun had read too many of these scenes when a weak and frail MC would be invited to a banquet and then mocked by everyone.

"Don't fret, Shop Owner Jun. You needn't concern yourself about your cultivation. There will be others with backgrounds not significantly stronger than yours. At most, people might assume you hail from a distinguished cultivation family. Moreover, coming from a world everyone aspires to ascend to, no one should look down on you based on that alone." Shop Owner Cheng observed Jun's worried expression and sought to reassure him.

"Indeed, what you mentioned holds true. In that case, kindly assist me in securing a seat for the banquet, Shop Owner Cheng," Jun requested with politeness, accompanied by a smile.

"Of course, it's a simple matter. I will inquire with my brother for an invitation to the banquet."

Jun couldn't fathom why this Shop Owner was extending such kindness to him. His status as a banished immortal shouldn't warrant such favor, and there seemed to be an underlying mystery. Despite sensing something amiss, Jun decided to set it aside for later investigation, focusing on enhancing his strength.

"Setting that aside, did any disciple catch your eye?" Shop Owner Cheng asked teasingly with a smirk.

"Not particularly; I was merely intrigued by this group of disciples," Jun explained, realizing Shop Owner Cheng was playfully teasing him.

"Of course, you wouldn't find these disciples captivating after experiencing so much in the Immortal World," Shop Owner Cheng laughed heartily.
