1 Birth of Emo
Mo Feng felt like strangling the snow ape in front of him.
When the Red Demon started killing, starting from Wu Qianjin until coming to fight with the flood dragon in the Red Mountain range, Mo Feng found, even though the system went offline, the EXP gained from all the killings were still stored in the system interface.
The Red Demon killed tens of thousands of monster beasts in those 20 days and the accumulated EXP got close to 100 million which will be enough to make him shoot eight through a whole level.
But the system poured cold water on him by saying that to use the Soul Stealing New Life formation, it will use all the EXP stored in the system gained by the Red Demon as a price.
But he soon calmed down because all these EXP came from the work of Red Demon after all.
The snow ape instructed Mo Feng and he setup the formation making the dragon corpse as the formation core and him and the unconscious flood dragon as the formation point.
The formation was activated using the EXP and the remaining blood on the dragon corpse.
The moment the formation got activated, the dragon flooding on the river slowly receded and the rover went dry.
Once all the blood entered back into the dragon corpse, it started floating in the air and its size started reducing like it's evolving backwards.
At the same moment, Mo Feng felt a pull on his soul from the outside, but the snow ape acted and put the sealed Red Demon soul in front of Mo Feng's soul.
It left his sea of consciousness and got out of his body and entered the dragon corpse and it trembled.
Seeing this, Mo Feng suddenly thought of something and asked "System, we are putting the Mo Feng's Red Demon soul on the dragon's body. Won't he come after me when his soul get unsealed in the future?"
Snow ape gave him a disdainful look for being afraid and spoke "That is why we are using the flood dragon's soul as a main soul for controlling the body since it is also considered a dragon family and has more compatibility with the dragon body."
As soon as it spoke, a soul got out of the flood dragon while screaming at Mo Feng to torture and kill him.
Snow ape didn't care about the soul's screaming and continued "And I have a reason for using this formation on a monster beast instead of a human cultivator. Once the soul entered the dragon body and it got awakened, you can make it your Companion Battle Beast."
But Mo Feng looked doubtful seeing the screaming and furious flood dragon's soul entering the body of the dragon "Does it look like it will become my Companion Battle Beast?"
For a cultivator to make a monster beast his Companion Battle Beast, he must have the acceptance of the monster beast and the flood dragon's soul doesn't look like it is going to be accept him and most likely will kill him.
Snow Ape non chalantly responded "Don't worry. This formation not only make two soul's live in a body, but it will cleanse the soul erasing all its memories and make it reborn like giving a new life which the formation's name came by."
Mo Feng relaxed after getting conformation from the system since once he made the monster beast a companion battle beast it means it's soul and body is connected to his life and death.
So even if Red Demon Mo Feng's soul get unsealed in the dragon's body, it still won't be able to control anything.
He looked at the dragon corpse in anticipation, well it didn't look like a corpse anymore though since it started giving out an aura of life as soon as the two souls entered it.
The Dragon body started shrinking and its majestic horns and claws also got retracted inside its body along with its wings.
The process of shrinking and regression continued for more than an hour before finally stopping.
What used to be few kilometer size Red dragon was now a finger sized single horned serpent.
Mo Feng was speechless and wondered 'where is my dragon pet?'
The little guy opened his head in disorientation and looked around in confusion.
Finally noticing Mo Feng, he suddenly appeared in front of him and rubbed on his face affectionately.
He realised he was considered family by the little guy since he was the first person it saw after he woke up.
The snow ape reminded him immediately to make it his companion battle beast and Mo Feng sent his consciousness into the little guy's consciousness to ask if he is willing.
The little naturally agreed and Mo Feng named him Emo, meaning Demon to constantly remind him of the danger living in his own dantian and also the second soul in the little guy's sea of consciousness.
He then used the Netherspirit Battle Scouter on Little Emo to check its status.

He was shocked by the Health and combat power of Little Emo, and sighed in his heart 'Truly worthy of a monster beast with dragon bloodline even though it's degraded.'
He also knew the reason for its degraded bloodline should be because of using it for the formation plus long time since the death of the Red dragon.
He also noticed that he found more information through Netherspirit Battle Scouter, like about his Innate Spirit sources and bloodlines which hasn't showed when he used the last time.
He checked the skill and found the level has increased.
Netherspirit Battlescouter (Level 3) - Unique skill (3158/5000): Battlescouter unique skill originated from Underworld. Uses Qi's related to Underworld to find the information of other cultivators.
Currently able to detect Cultivation level, Qi value, Spirit source, Bloodline and EXP player will receive after killing. Player is only able to detect status of people limited to 8 levels above him. After each upgrade, the player will be able to see more status regarding the cultivators and level limit will also increase.
Mo Feng asked the system "Is the level upgrade of Netherspirit Battle Scouter because of the Red Demon?"
"Yes, demons are like nobles in underworld, so obviously it increased a level. If he had occupied the body for longer, it would have increased another level." Snow ape replied making Mo Feng speechless.
Mo Feng felt happy for getting Little Emo as his Companion Battle Beast and rising the level of Netherspirit Battle Scouter.
But his happiness didn't last long when the snow ape said he has to leave the place to complete his level up mission.
While his thoughts crossed to this point, Tornado Hyena reached a safe place Mo Feng found in the secret realm earlier.
